Me too, it sucks only being able to eat on one side...now it takes me twice as long to eat...it feels a little better today though...

I'm just waiting now and hoping that they'll survive the night. I don't know why they wouldn't, but still..
Then I get to figure out what to feed them and what they'll be interested in eating. They're way too tiny for pinkies..

So my little dark-eyed clear budgie has had a fever for the past few days. Planning on taking her to the vet this weekend (can't until he gets paid friday).
After a bit of research.. discovered she probably has fatty liver disease. Apparently it's curable. If they tell me that it'll cost a fortune to fix her, I'll say screw them. I read about this aloe detox stuff that's apparently a miracle worker I'd try first.
If she gets fixed all better, then she's off to a rare seed diet, since seeds are probably what caused it in the first place.

I don't think she has a fever anymore, yaaaay! That makes me really happy. I was worried the fever might kill her.
Now I just gotta find a different diet for her, since the fat in the bird seed is what caused her fatty liver disease.. Should be relatively simple? Just healthy foods and a balanced diet.

have you tried fresh fruit or vegetables, or are they not supposed to eat things like that?
