Shiko smiled. "If you want to get there sometime before next week, you might want to pick up the pace." She called over her shoulder to Stilletto. "Nothing like a leisurely stroll through the Pandora forests at night to clear your mind."

"I was being sarcastic." Shiko said quietly, her eyes determinedly focused in front of her, willing herself not to stop and look around. It was stupid of her to be feeling this way; there was nothing in this forest that she couldn't handle. But that instinctive human fear of the darkness was worming it's way into Shiko's mind, no matter how hard she tried to fight it away. "Calm down. You're making me jumpy." She growled, still not looking at Stilletto.

Shiko smiled. "Yes. Yes I do. I have magical eyes in the back of my head that I use solely for keeping annoying werewolves in line, and freaking out sexist Na'vi." Bored, she began to kick a large stone in front of her, wondering how far she could make it go.

Shiko shrugged her shoulders. "I'm always funny." She said wearily. Even she was beginning to feel the affects of their intensive walk, and she wasn't sure how much further she could go. The walk back was going to take an insanely long time, and the more tired they got, the slower they were going to go. Of course, they could always stay in the forest, but Shiko wasn't really keen on that idea, especially since Stilletto was still getting used to his wolf body. Still, as the minutes dragged on, Shiko was forced to admit to herself that staying the night in the Pandora forest was probably what they were going to have to do. "How are you holding up?" She asked, looking down at Stilletto.

(Sorry it took me so long to respond to this, and I might not respond to the Werewolf rp until tomorrow. This has been a very crazy week for me; even the weekend!)

Shiko rolled her eyes at Stilletto, and turned to him, one hand on her hip, and head tilted in playful annoyance. "I'm doing fine, Wolfy. You don't have to worry about this chick; I run with the Na'vi, remember?" Except those words never actually left her mouth. She had opened her lips, ready for the sarcastic comment to leave her mind and enter the realm of hearing. But before she had a chance to do that, Stilletto lunged forward, and the next thing she knew, there was a mauled human corpse on the ground, the metallic stench of blood hung heavy in the air, burning her sensitive nose, and Stilletto was looking at her like he also wanted to rip her to shreds. Instinctively, she flexed her hands, claws appearing, and tensed her shoulders, ready to lunge forward. Her piercing blue eyes stayed locked on his, and Shiko felt one of her lips curled upwards into a snarl. Every nerve in her body was screaming to just run away from this monster who couldn't control itself, but she remembered the (grueling) training she had gone through with the Na'vi. Never, ever run from your enemy; always stay and fight, even if it means death. Her eyes never leaving Stilletto, Shiko straightened, although she was still posed and ready to attack at a split-second warning.

Slowly, Shiko flexed her hand again, allowing her claws to slip back into her flesh. Her shoulders were still straightened and tense though, and her eyes were narrowed with fear. Taking a deep breath, she tried to get a better grip on her rapid heartbeat. The human part of her wanted to run after Stilletto, to make sure he was okay, but she quickly squashed that urge and walked stiffly in the other direction, hands clutched into tight fists.
