My name is Brittany..and I'm not exactly sure if I'm gothic or not. A lot of people ask me if I am but I don't want to say yes and then have to explain to them why I am, I'm not sure what I would say to them. I wear black all the time. Black is my favorite color and my favorite store is Hot Topic..which is a gothic store. But its really expensive...so I really can't afford anything there that I want unless I save my money. What is a gothic? How do you determine if you are gothic or not?
Another question that I get asked a lot is if I'm Wiccan. I guess you can say I am because I believe in it and read up on it..but I don't practice it. I believe in magic but I don't feel a need to perform any magic. I don't believe in using magic to manipulate or hurt others because I believe that it will come back to you three times worse. The only way I would use magic is to meditate, to relax, or to put a protective "shield" around myself for protection if I have a feeling of something bad happeneding. I haven't used magic yet though because I haven't learned enought yet and haven't felt a need to use it.
So basically, I was just wondering what defines a gothic person. I think that I'm a mix between gothinc and punk. But I just don't know what to tell the people that ask me if I'm gothic.
