I smile at Yoko, and find that we are looking into each others eyes. I feel a strange sensation inside me, and quickly stand up to get ready to leave.

I too stood up and shook the feelings off of me. I went upstairs to get my stuff and get ready.

I stood waiting by the door, having no belongings for me to take. I was still thinking about how Yoko was starting to make me feel, and how my life would turn out with this.

After I had gotten my stuff, which was just a bag with some food, a large t-shirt and some weapons, I met everyone else at the doorway. I stood next to Knight, feeling short and tried to stand up straighter. "I'm ready.", I said happily.

I stood by the door, waiting to be told where we were to be heading. I stood nervously beside Yoko, feeling like I wanted to reach out and touch her, but knowing it wasn't the proper thing to do.

"hey, before we go, do you wanna stop at the river? I saw one on the way into town and it had a really great view.", I said hopefully, breaking the silence.

"You guys can.... I need to check something first... Now that the fog is cleared for the day... we should have a pretty good view of the canyon..." I seemed distracted, but I smiled before leaving anyways, heading towards the nearest drop off. Some thrill seekers came here to try and ride the gliders, and this was where they went. I peered out over the edge, whistling at the sight. The bottomn of the canyon couldn't be seen, but the gliders could. They clung to the rock face and lazed about on overhangs, screeching at one another.

I smiled, and decided to take her up on her offer. "Sure, lead the way. I'd love to see the view." I didn't know if I really wanted to see the view, or just to be with her again, just us. Is that something that humans think about?

I nodded and smiled. "Okay." I did want to see the view, but more than that I wanted to be with Knight. We walked along the trees and came to a small path. I could smell and hear the river before I saw it. Then there it was. A large rushing river and a small waterfall. "Wow.", I said, more intrigued than I thought I would be.

I took in the view, watching the beauty of the waterfall in awe. I had never seen such beauty like this in all my days of existing. I gazed over at Yoko, and found her behaving the same way. I also found that, somehow, our hands were together.

We were touching. I couldn't tell what it was that was causing this feeling inside of me, but I knew it was probably his touch or the waterfall. I felt my palm grow sweaty.

I suddenly realized what I wanted to do. I slid my hand from Knight's and began taking off my boots. I dropped my bag and looked up at Knight. "Coming?", I asked him. There were enough trees around to make a shadow around the waterfall. I smiled and jumped into the water, creating a huge splash. "Aaaaggghhhh!", I screamed laughing when I came up. "Its cold."

Knight smiled at her, and followed. My body was formed of the elements, so water would be good to me. Might even help me rest, returning to the elements after staying up all night. Slowly, I walked in behind her.

I floated on my back, feeling a sudden rush of happiness. I splashed Knight and let myself get soaked my the waterfall.

I smile, and splash her back, laughing for the first time in years. Something about being around Yoko just makes me feel human, like I'm not some kind of monster.
