Tsukiya saw Shadow running away like her life was on the line. In blind concern for the pup, he called for Miazi, Nasumi, and the others to follow him as he ran after the young cub full of concern. He called out, "Shadow, come back! You could get hurt!" Tsukiya was one to talk though as this was an unfamiliar territory to him, but he didnt want to see Shadow harmed, he would not lose anyone else.

Miazi darted after him and quickly caught up. "Shadow!" she called to the pup. She ran faster. "We have to catch her," she said to Tsukiya.

Shadow lifted her nose to find out what the smells were. They were unfamiliar. Her ears twitched as she heard her name being called by the others. She looked back to the forest. They would catch up soon. She wondered weather to go back to them or follow her nose. Curiosity got the better of her and she ran on. The trees were thinning and odd sounds reached her ears. She slowed into a trot as she exited the forest out onto a hard black surface. Before she could inspect the hard black ground, a large loud shiny monster raced at her. She jumped out of the way in time and raced around a corner. She was in a human city.

Tsukiya look on in horror-and said, "No, no, not this-not again!" Tears came to his eyes. He got the others to stop and said, "These humans are the reason I have no pack. Shadow is in their city, and if we do not find her soon, it is likely she will be...." Tsukiya could not bear to end the sentence as tears welled in his eyes from the memories of his old friends and mate.

Shadow skidded to a stop as lots and lots of tall beasts like the one Nasumi turned into. Some did not even notice her, some glanced at her, and some, the smaller ones, pointed and pulled on the taller ones skin. Very baggy and multi-colored skin these beasts had. She trotted around their legs and found a grassy area with lots of trees. She sat there and watched the strange creatures.

Tsukiya asked for the others to gather around so he could explain the situation as best he could and to find out how to save the young pup. He waited for the others as he worried for Shadow.

Shadow yawned as she watched the humans. There were so many! She caught a familiar smell and her ears perked up. "Bongo!?" She stood, sniffing the air. When she found where it was coming from, she bolted in that direction. She followed the sent to a foul smelling part of the city with lots of run down brick buildings. There was a white pickup truck that pulled into one of the cement driveways. Two men came out and opened the back. Shadow saw a white wolf cub with a bag over his head. What is this place?

Io felt the truck lurch to a stop and he was pulled out of the bed. he could smell many dogs and hear lots of human shouts. His mind told him to transform, but his body was too scared to know what to do. When the bag was uncovered from his head, he was in a sort of arena, surrounded by shouting men. He looked around and saw another dog, held by a chain. It looked mean. The human holding the chain let go and the large muscular pit bull launched itself at Io.

Cassies snarl was positively feral as she raced after the other wolves her eyes dark. Her temper flared to heights she'd been at few times before. She growled and flattened her ears as she ran. She looked to see the pup had run into the city and she growled louder. Whoever had chased the pup away had better not let her catch them or they'd taste her fangs, she vowed as she ran. Not one for big groups she had skirted around the other wolves and stopped only at the edge of the forest to wait for her brother to catch up with her. In a fury she changed forms her eyes dark and her hands clenched at her sides.
Deuce was up and running after his sister in moments as she ran. He growled as his sisters temper reached him, this wasn't good. He pushed his legs harder as he raced after her knowing if she was in this black of mood nothing good could come of it. Besides worrying for his sister he was worried about the pup as well, knowing all to well the dangers of the city having traveled through them before. As he caught up to her he too changed forms and took the lead into the city. " We'll find the pup Cass, breathe before you kill someone. " He growled softly as she followed, both following the pups scent through the crowded city.

Shadow followed the men with the white cub in hand. He looked to be a lot older than herself, but still juvenile. The men entered a shabby shack where she shouts came from. Shadow tilted her head and trotted in. To her delighted surprise, Bongo's sent was strong here. Before she got the chance to explore any further though, something grabbed her roughly by the scruff of her neck and shook her. "What the hell is this?! Another wolf cub? What are we running a nursery?! This is a fighting ring!" The man holding Shadow grinned and tossed her in with the white wolf and pit. She landed on her shoulder with a sickening POP.

Cassie glares darkly past her brother as she takes the lead, even in her human form her nose more sensitive than humans. A soft growl rises from her throat as she walks and the people part to make way for her. The twins make a menacing couple when they put they're emotions out in the open. " I swear to the gods if that pup is hurt...Deuce I'll go nuclear."
Deuce sighed and followed his sister nodding. " I know Cass, but we'll find her sis. No-one can track better than you can." He glared darkly at anyone who tried to get in they're way and they backed away. The duo was making they're way into a less hospitable and a more shabby part of town and Deuce wasn't to keen on it. His head snapped up though as he heard dogs barking and growling in the distance, " Cass! Dog ring! The pups gotta be there!"

Shadow's shoulder was flooded with pain. She quickly righted herself, making sure not to put any weight on that paw. The second she got her bearings, the pit rushed her, clipping her ear. Shadow rolled aside, not knowing what was going on. She could smell Bongo's scent everywhere, mixed with a whole bunch of other dogs. The Pit rushed her again and shadow closed her eyes tight, expecting the worst.

Cassie snarled and pushed through the crowd death in her eyes as she could now hear the dogs growling. " Shadow!" She called out as she broke through the ring of on lookers. " Dammit pup! Move!" She growled as she hopped the barrier to the arena and tackled the pit bull. With a feral growl she crouched in front of the dog her eyes blazing and her skin trembling. She wanted desperately to change and tear this dog to pieces but she knew better with all these people. " Call your dog off before I break it's jaw." She hissed at the owner. The pit bull snarled but stayed put smelling that she wasn't just human. Her fists were clenched and she was beyond furious. If she was in her wolf form she'd have torn this dog to shreds in moments. Memories of past cities and past dog rings slid through her mind and she growled darkly.
Deuce growled and followed his sister quickly. As he hopped the wall he knelt by the pup and sighed " Shadow, can you hear me hun? Can you walk? If you can nod your head, if not I'll carry you." He growled fiercely at the people around him " You make me sick! All of you!" The people around the ring were a mass of mumbling and stumbling out of the area. Deuce stood to his full height and his eyes changed color, to a dark black as he growled. " All of you who have dogs here, get them out or die. Me or my sister catch any of you here again and you'll pay."

Shadow looked up surprised when the pit bull did not maul her. There were more humans in the ring now, and they smelled of the sibling wolves from before. More like Nasumi? Did they have scary sharp things too? When Duce asked if she could walk, she put her paw down. Her shoulder flared in hot pain and she yelped.

Io had dodged the pit bull's attack but when he saw a small black wolf cub get thrown into the ring, both he and the pit bull were thrown into confusion. The pit recovered first and launched itself at the cub, but before it had a second chance, two humans entered the ring and began yelling at the crowd. The pup was injured and Io wanted to get her and himself away from here as soon as possible. He waited to follow the lead of the two humans in the ring.
