"I suppose you're right." Hikaru had read about ninja medics before. It was actually, one of the few occasions when his family would seek out the assistance of ninja. Even his family, which was very proud of the more traditional methods, or 'the old ways' as some called them had to acknowledge the skill and ability of such people. To hear Deil speak of it so matter-of-factly showed that he had grown up within the ninja village for a large portion of his life. Hikaru at times wondered what it was he hoped to accomplish in the midst of so many more well-suited ninja then himself.

Perhaps staring into his tea cup for too long, Hikaru was glad to see that the food had finally arrived as a rather large, heaping bowl of ramen soup was placed before him. Embarrassingly, his stomach roared at even the sight of the food, making Hikaru somewhat shy away slightly as he excused himself. quickly intent on halting his stomach's speech, Hikaru dug in, not even considering the way he had previously though about the food. remarkably however, it was far better then he had imagined it would be. Either it had been that he had outgrown his dislike for it, or possibly, he had just never had a good bowl of ramen before... but either way, he found himself digging in greedily before he caught himself and attempt to eat in a more composed and aristocratic way. "Wow, this is much better then I had imagined. Is this place known for this kind of food? it's definitely the best I've ever had... but then again, I've refused to eat it for a long time."

Misuki Sindoue

When someone placed their arms around her, Misuki was instently pulled out of her thoughts as she tensed up and snapped her head to face the unknown person. Seeing that it was Deil and not some unknown stranger Misuki relaxed and gave him a small smile. Leaning her head on his shoulder, Misuki took her time to respond to his question. "Its nothing much...just some irrational fear of losing those close to me. Earlier when you mentioned to Hikaru about how out of shape you were after creating this gift for me...well...it made me feel like it was my fault that you got injured. I know that you didn't intentionally meant to hurt me with those words but just hearing it being said like that just...well it just got to me. What if those hadn't just been some simple bandits back there? You could've gotten seriously hurt and it would've all be because you used up most of your chakra to make something that will help me when I'm low on chakra...I just don't want to lose you that's all..." Enjoying the comfort of having Deil next to her, Misuki just remained standing there with her head on his shoulder as she waited for somesort of response from him.

Deil stroked Misuki`s hair as she spoke, listening to her words. He felt somewhat relieved, and yet also ashamed, when she told him that she was upset that Deil had nearly gotten himself killed in such a manner. He took a moment to gather his thoughts, and kissed her on the head before speaking. "When I made that gift, I knew I was taking certain risks. However, in hindsight, I should have waited until we were safely inside the village before I made it. But, I don`t regret it, because now you have that gift, and you can use it much better than I can. I appreciate your concern, and it is perfectly normal for you to worry about people you care for. I promise, unless it is an emergency, I will only make that kind of gift in a safe manner." He paused, looking at her tenderly. "But, if I had gotten hurt, I wouldn`t want anyone to be there to save me more than you."

Deil was glad that Misuki was more relieved now, and enjoyed the brief kiss. He followed her into the shop, and sat down after her. He was pleased that steam still curled from the bowls, luring him like seductive hands to the food. He picked up his chopsticks, and cracked them apart as Hikaru was about to answer Misuki.

Kageko simply nodded her head at her friend's response, Hiruzen's words causing her to remember the day she found out about the Kyuubi. the girl went through the events, She played back his voice, the only thing besides his chakrams and code name that she would be able to identify him with. "Yeah," Kageko replied after a while, a thoughtful look still on her face, "Let's hope not." While she was all open and cheery during the incident, looking back on it, Kageko wished that she had been more secretive, much more secretive.

Kageko rested her head on the table as she waited for Kage to return, nodding to what Hiruzen said. "Just don't get yourself hurt," she replied with a small laugh as she drummed her fingers underneath the table. The last thing she wanted to see was her friend get hurt. Even though she was smaller, between the two of them, she was actually the one with the more durable body. In other words, it would be her job to protect Hiruzen should they ever get into a fight. Even if they were faced with the Akatsuki, the girl was certain she would be able to lure them away from her friend, considering that her demon was the Kyuubi and his the Gobi, .

Kageko couldn't help but relate Hiruzen's grin to the grin of the Chesire Cat in Alice in Wonderland. It was definitely just as creepy as it and the girl couldn't help but have part of her expect for Hiruzen's body to start disappearing. The girl started to shift slightly way. Her friend's smile was starting to scare her a bit. After staring at it for a bit, she decided to answer in a monotone voice that was just as expressionless as the face she was maintaining, "Nope, I'll be the one to hit you if you get hurt and then kick you all the way back to the nearest hospital." Her face remained on the table, completing her look of obliviousness. She wanted to see how Hiruzen reacted to her response, but that required for her to play her part flawlessly, which she felt that she was doing a good job with.
