Bagarth couldn't hear anything from the room, no speech. There was no answer from Noktal, but she could feel the use of magic. Perhaps, he was busy or he was dodging her. No matter.

She turned to the human. His voice sounded different, and he had a helmet on. It must have been the human because no demon dressed like that. The same bulky armor. The probe. And of course, the manner of being lost.

Unfortunately, Bagarth couldn't teleport the man as Vandor could. Giving directions would make the man confused since the path could get complicated. The fortress's hallways were known to sometimes change as a defensive measure.

"Follow me," Bagarth said, "Lord Grathyrm's court is this way." She nodded and proceeded to walk with Ann toward Grath's chambers.

Alaric just nodded as they began to lead him to Lord Grathyrm, although he wondered what was going through there minds at this point in time. He followed behind them for the time being and stayed silent, but a few thoughts ran through his head. Seeing as they were in an alliance they might visit Terra but they would not allowed to enter any of their bases where people lived an so forth. "Do you have any plans to visit Terra" Alaric asked as he watched them walk in front of him. If they did he felt it necessary to provide them with what they needed to enter any base and even provide transportation if they wished but they would also need a guide of sorts to find the bases, since more were hidden underground and away from the surface.

This time, Antoinetta answered with a question of her own, still in her falcon form. "Has Terra changed?" The voice coming from the falcon was high-pitched and curious. It did not suit the predator's gaze the falcon fixed on the human.

Alaric sighed a little at the thought, Terra was a mess at this point in time nothing but a barren waste land with little to no life on the surface. "Depending when you last went to Terra, it is nothing more then a wasteland. The ground is stained with the blood of anything that was once alive, demons, celestials and humans littler the area. Be it living or dead but we still have area where we thrive. For those who do not chose to fight and become what I have they live as normal a life as they can" Alaric said as he looked at the falcon. Humanity only wished to continue its survival and see if they could return Terra to is former self but it seemed unlikely. They also caused some of the destruction to the planet but they were trying to repair what they had done but it would take sometime before any major changes would happen, at least he would able to see it happen.

Bagarth was silent as Ann and Alaric interchanged conversation. Bagarth made frequent visits to Terra, and was relatively familiar with the situation. However, she did not know all the locations of the human settlements. She had almost always been able to get in with no problem, but that was most likely due to the fact that she could appear completely human ...and sometimes used alternative nonviolent methods.

They would be at Grath's chambers soon. She had taken a short cut.

((I think I was the last one with the letter….))
She stood right outside the portal, surveying the empty land around her, and holding the letter in a tight grip. She remembered the last time they were here, and shuddered. Nervously she took a few paces forward, then came to a decisive stop. Indrid and Alator were nowhere to be seen. Should she follow? Or go back and wait at home? She started to braid her hair, and looked around wearily. She forced herself to stop, and take a shuddering breath. This was no time to be afraid. They had been invited, and she had the letter as proof…. She knew she had taken to long to decide whether or not to come! “Damn!” she said, and cringed as it echoed.

She stood up strait. Oh well. She was alone now, and it was up to her to make her choice. Sighing and shaking her head at what was sure to be her own stupidity, she made her way quickly towards the base.

As she stepped through the door and into Grathrym's chambers once again, Syd didn't notice Alastor and Indrid right away. At least not for a couple of seconds. But when she did, her eyes widened. "I-Indrid..? A-Alastor...?" she murmured mostly to herself as she stared at them for a few seconds, not exactly positive they were really there until Shari exclaimed over the presence of two new people, which confirmed that she wasn't the only people seeing them.

However, Syd was snapped back to reality as Alastor told Grathrym about his displeasure of seeing Noktal again. The demon who had killed their comrades at the recent attack on Garthora. Even though she was pretty much back to her usual self, Sydney couldn't exactly bring herself to look right at either Indrid or Alastor for some reason. Perhaps it was because they knew by now that she had decided to side with the demons. Regardless, even though she didn't look at her friends, Sydney decided to remain quiet until she was actually spoken to for the time being. It seemed that her friends were busy discussing something with Grathrym at the moment anyway.

(sorry guys, Christmas came early for me so I've been busy playing my PS3. Sorry..)

Indrid glared at Syd. She was a traitor. She came her to save her own life. He always knew she was weak. He turned his head back toward Noktal, the one who had come to slaughter them. He wasn't going to ally with these people. They are deceptive. They are shaping his beliefs. "I'm out." he said moving past Sydney with hate in his eyes.

Shari laughed lightly as the man walked off.
"What a coward." She sniffed at him, seeing his look for Sydney.

Noktal shook his head.
"Shari, hun, please don't help. His heart is closed off. A man incapable of fighting and incapable of forgiving is worthless. Don't taunt him." Noktal's tone was completely sincere, and had no malice in it.

Shari shook her head.
"Still. What a shame. A woman who hates you still for bringing her here, at the cost of saving them all. What a horrid person." Shari shrugged, unconcern on her face. He looked at her like a weakling, like a coward. But she thought it would be harder to be the one turning your back on your friends to save them, rather than the one who was saved.

J'valia was about two hundred yards from the entrance when she stopped. While she had recieved a few weird looks, most people had passed her by, thinking she was just another demon.
She ran her hand over the edge of her scythe nervously, and looked around. She spotted a rock, and walked over to it calmly. She sat on top, covering herself with a glamour that normal demons wouldn't be able to see through. There was no way she was going to step into that building. She nodded her head defiantly. Absolutly no way.
She sat there patiently, hoping Indrid or Alastor would exit soon.

((...the dreaded double post. Just to get Alaric into the Grath area.))

"And we're just about at Lord Grathrym's chambers," Bagarth announced as she rounded the corner and nearly crashed into Indrid exiting the room, the instance almost endangered Ann from being knocked off her shoulder. Well, excuse me, young man...

From the look in the Nephilim's eyes, the man did not look happy. "It seems we have more visitors besides yourself, Alric."

(I'm a Nephilim smile )

Indrid ignored the comment and burst through the doors of the palace. As he went outside the stench of the dead hit him but he ignored it. He saw J'valia and nodded ever so slightly at her. "I'm leaving. You can stay and wait for Alastor if you want." he said as he walked away.

"Huh well one person has made his decision. I wonder why he made this decision. I wonder if he even relized the true reason Sydney joined us. If you could say she even joined us to begin with. If you wish to join him Alaster I will be sad. But it's up to you. Or as sad as I can be."

"I knwo better than to leave without knowing both sides of the story, Grathrym. Please excuse my comrade, though. He may have made a decision, but I myself wish to know all the details before I commit." Looking to side, a faint smile crossed his face. "Good to see you made it out of the fight safe, Syd, though the means may not seem very favorable to us."

When Indrid gave his curt reply to Grathrym, Sydney glanced up at the Nephilim. However, her eyes immediately looked away and at the ground when she noticed that he was glaring at her with hate. She didn't say anything to Indrid as he left Grathrym's chambers. But when Shari spoke with Noktal, Sydney Looked over at her with as much of a small smile as she could manage in order to hide the real hurt she felt from knowing that Indrid now hated her. "Forget about it, Shari. If he hates me, he hates me. Nothing's gonna change that." Sydney said simply.

She then returned her attention to Alastor who was the one friend of hers remaining in Grathrym's chambers. Her face was neutral despite what she felt inside. But that quickly changed to a look of surprise at what Alastor said to her. Sydney stared at the nephilim, not quite sure how to take in what he'd said at first. When she couldn't think of anything to say, Syd looked away briefly, a slight thoughtful scowl on her face as she collected her thoughts for a moment. Then, she looked back up at Alastor, giving him a sheepish grin. "Sorry if I worried you. Didn't mean to do that."
