 Goosie didn't hesitate, turning to go and collect a few armfuls of clothes, a file folder, and her bundle of food, before returning to Koth. 'Where to?'

'Bunkers time then, I'd say. I'm going to head back to Gaia now anyway,' Nalini replied. She glanced at Koth and Goosie, neither of whom seemed to be paying any attention to herself or MK now, and wandered back to the portal.

*Koth rushed up and put his arms around Goosie, giving his wings a mighty flap*

*With a few more he propelled them off the ground and took to the sky, heading toward a cave in the distance*

Without realising MK had dropped to the sand behind her, Nalini passed through the portal, and back to Gaia.

*The DRK portal temporarily connecting to a cavern far away cracked open, spilling out Koth and Sparrow along with the shrill screams of all the people who were dying in their wake. It closed behind them and silence was met in the city, nothing present save for the two of them and the pillar of Magic that still flowed brilliantly*
This... I didn't expect this... It's still here... ... Why are we here?

She brushed her hair carelessly over her shoulders, approaching the pillar and giving it a bemused look-over.

These are the ruins... of some city... lost to time. It was silent for decades. Not even the wind could pierce it. ... Now there is... this magic. I don't know why... or who did it. It doesn't seem harmful.

Sparrow was undecided about the imposing magical tower, but at Koth's admission that it ought not to cause harm, she took a seat.
'I am sorry that the mission was not a success.' The clone said, breaking a moment's-long silence.

Hmm...? Oh, the humans? Heh... Don't fret. I blew our cover... They were an ignorant sort anyway. ... If what they say is true though, there will be others... Each grouping is different from the next. ... The human condition is unique. A little bit of each we find is what it means to be human. This mission is far from over.
