Ever could almost hear the gears turning in his head. A quiet Ares was a dangerous Ares. She couldn't help but shiver slightly in apprehension. And you know, it probably wasn't smart to have her back facing Ares. So, she quickly turned back around to look at him.

"You know, Ares, if you think you are so damn smart, why don't you go and jump in that lake over there? See how long you can last in there."

Ever groaned loudly in frustration and threw out her arms to the side in frustration. "I'm a freaking FURY, Ares! I was pissed off, had been angry all day, and when a Fury gets angry, they get hot! I had to cool myself off in the lake, and it has been fun to jump in the lake in the past. I wasn't really thinking about possibly DYING!"

Once again, Ever's interest was piqued again. Both of her eyebrows were raised in shock at Ares's comments.

"What is that supposed to mean? Would the big bad seaweed have poisoned me?"

Ever scowled. Her hair was even begin to flash to a deep red she was so angry.

"I would be in class right now if it wasn't for YOUR damn horse chasing me out! I think you owe me some information, Ares! And now!"

Ever just stared at Ares for a moment, her hair still flashing from her black raven hair color to red, but that was the only motion in her right now.

But then, her scowl returned. "Ares... you son of a b***h. Obviously there is something in the lake that's abnormal and obviously you're interested in it! And I obviously don't know what it is yet. That's why I was asking you!"

Ever rolled her eyes and turned her back to Ares. "Get out of my school before I call my Headmistress. I'm sure she'd like to tear you a new hole."

((sorry for not posting sooner, been really out of it lately and couldn't come up with an animal...Well i got one now, and yes this animal is from Inuyasha, sue me! xp I'll edit the post if it doesn't work.))

After eagerly listening to the teacher speak about a couple of different type of animals, Akira could hardly wait to get out there and see all of the animals, hell, she was an animal herself technically, so this should be rather fun. She wondered vaguely, as she stepped up and walked around, if she should go for a canine based creature...Well, she did like felines; it's not like they'd all hate her and run away, right?

A lot of the creatures caught her blue eyes, but they didn't really appeal to her. She loved the Winderbee, but she also wanted a creature that would be able to fight along side her-

Akira stared and gasped softly at the red and black eyes staring right back at her. No way!!

"A Two Tailed Cat Demon...!?" an actual Demon in this forest!! Who knew? The feline definitely was beautiful with her cream colored fur with it's pure black stripes, paws, and ears, those powerful looking red and black cat eyes...And the black diamond shaped symbol right smack in the middle of her little forehead was definitely awesome looking!

The two stared back at each other for a long moment, but just as Akira was about to reach out for her, she heard a scream and her head snapped over to the horses fence, where she saw Evermore being chased by that flame horse!!!



"Aww dammit all!!!" she cursed, looked apologetically at the two tailed and ran over to the horses, growling softly and glaring at them.

"What is your PROBLEM!? Evermore isn't like the other ones! She's an awesome person and you should of given her a chance, sheesh!!!" she said angrily, as other girls and magical creatures stared at her. The majestic horses looked a little startled and sorta sympathetic? Well whatever, served them right!

Annoyed, the Half Demon quickly took off towards the forest to hopefully catch up with Evermore soon and teach that Phobos a lesson!!

However, as the girl ran, she started hearing noises behind her- had one of the horses chased after her out of anger? Oh great...

Just as she glanced back, her breath caught in her throat as she watched the very same two tailed Cat Demon run up behind her, get engulfed in bright red and orange flames and grew!? The creature rushed up behind her, grabbed her gently by the mouth and threw the startled girl over her back. Once the flames died down, Akira was amazed to see that the feline had indeed grew to the size of a huge tiger, but that she also looked much more fierce and ran just as fast as Akira could, maybe even a little faster? The girl held on, completely speechless as the feline continued to run.



Akira suddenly felt weird, like her powers we're being tapped into by her friend here and her tapping into the feline's. A connection was being made, she concluded mentally.

The girl also noticed that the feline's paws we're still blazing with fire, but gasped as they suddenly turned invisible!? Wait, the two tailed's body was completely disappearing before her eyes!!! Before long, Akira had turned invisible as well, and no noise could be heard at all as the feline's paws smacked into the ground...But her stomach felt odd, an intense power was burning from deep within and had caused the two to turn invisible. But why? Wouldn't it be bad if Evermore couldn't see her-

Suddenly, the two tailed cat demon stopped dead in her tracks, nearly throwing Akira right off in the process, the girl was about to protest, but instead, just ended up gaping at the scene before her.

Evermore was there, but so was...Ares, the War God!? What the hell!

She listened to the conversation and continued to gap, her jaw refusing to close. Before long, a frown appeared on her face, however, and she really wanted to whack that jerk for the cruel things he was saying to her best friend, but resisting the urge and continued to sit quietly on her ridding buddy, absently stroking her fur softly.

Once the War God had vanished, she felt herself relax, the power within slowly cooling down and soon enough, they turned visible once again. Akira blinked and jumped off her new friend quickly, running over to Evermore.

"H-hey, you okay???" she asked, worry shinning in her eyes. Hopefully she hadn't scared Ever, since they had just kinda "poofed" out of nowhere...

Ever swung her head around back in the direction of Ares as he disappeared. She hoped he saw the rage in her eyes as he left. She wanted that to be the last image he saw of her as he left.

When he was gone, Ever actually growled lowly and mumbled, "Both you and your stupid horse, Ares, can go and just..."

Before she could finish her sentence, she suddenly heard a voice behind her. Ever jumped in surprise and cried out softly. She quickly calmed down, though, as her head turned in the direction of the voice and realized that it was her best friend, not another stupid God or Ares playing a trick.

Ever breathed a sigh of relief and visibly relaxed at the sight of Akira. Even her red hair started to fade back to its raven black color.

"Yeah, I'm ok. Just visiting with an old... acquaintance. I would introduce you, but I wouldn't even put my worst enemy through that torture."

She smiled at her friend and laughed softly. She put an arm around her shoulders and started walking back in the direction they had come from. However, a large fiery creature caught her attention and made her immediately go on the defensive again. She scowled and put herself in front of her friend protectively. The animal had fire coming from its paws and it had two large forked tails. She had never seen anything like it, but it was made of fire. Surely this was Ares's trick.

"Hey! I've been harassed enough today by fire creatures! Why don't you just go back to your master and tell him to go sit on a candlestick and spin?! Don't you DARE come near my friend! You won't get two steps before I turn you to ash."
