A story is equivalent to 10 feet, give or take. Another word is "floor".
this thing is three stories tall, or 30 feet. The equivalent of about 9 meters. This little bit of architectural knowledge has been brought to you by the letter F.

Let me re-iterate something:
The original premise that this was a 'bunker' comes from the problem of underground networks and their information sources. Rav handed the contract down to Dev, who in turn did the preliminary research of the area and traced the woman here. The 'bunker' as it was so called, was what the locals had originally informed Dev as the most likely place she could be if she didn't live in town, a prefecture which is known because of the rather bizarre lore of the local mythos.
The more accurate term for this building is "castle" or "fortress". Even though this was little more than a "house" to the original owner, the misinformation and lorecraft is sort of an attempt to show that the party will in the course of the RP be fed inaccurate information from time to time, not necessarily on the fault of anyone at all. We do not have the luxury of a Bothan spy net though, so faults through the system will occur, sometimes too late to make a difference.

So, if it’s like a castle then a satchel charge should blow a hole though it right?

We have a satchel and probably some explosives, but no one is touching my satchel.

Plus, the sheer amount of noise would probably defeat the entire purpose of doing these stealth checks...
So time to look for the side door.

So, like if it’s not hidden we can find it easily then?

Means if you decide to move from your spot, and explore around the house, you're bound to find the side door.

Steps away from the "bunker" and falls into a hole where the door is type obvious... smile
