 Sam shrugged, "Eh.. I guess, just pick up whatever you drop on the floor. If not, then whatever, right?" She laughed a little, pulling away from him finally and looked at the same area he was looking at. Amber frowned, and looked behind her at the mutt. "I'm not a fan of wolves.. Or dogs.. But.. He is family to you and I shall respect him as such, Vergil." She said his name softer then the other words. She turned back around and tried to finish her work, but still listened to him if he spoke.

 Daisuke smiled a little at her comment. "Ok then." He continued to look in the stream and noticed she was looking to. "Why are you watching the stream?"

"It's strange... " He continued, "All 'phoenix' fear wolves and dogs. Including the last being i met who was a phoenix, he wasn't a fan of Shikon."
He stood up with his hands in his pockets, "I wish there was something I could do."

Sam shrugged, "The stream is peaceful to me.. And I like looking at it. Good memories are usually here. I don't think any bad memories comes to this stream." Sam smiled. Amber flinched at his words, feeling useless. "I'm sorry.. I never had the best experience growing up with them.. Got attacked by my master's old pets all the time.. Most of them were hound dogs." She blinked, trying to take back the memories, but sighed and continued on with the story, "Then.. One time my old master kicked me out of the house for burning the Christmas dinner on accident, and forced me to stay outside in the cold for a week. The cold wasn't horrible.. Just the animals that he had outside were terrible. Wolves. Most had rabies.. I didn't mean to burn them.. Honest." This is where she was about to start crying, "They attacked me first.. I didn't mean to kill them." Her hair started to have a slight wave to it and a fiery glow. But it was cold fire.

Daisuke looked at the fish swiming, once one stopped he pounced after it, he got up and was disoriented, this time he didn't have a fish in his teeth, he looked kind of sad.

Sam watched as the color of the water around Daisuke changed into an icy blue, also the temperature changed as well to the emotions with Daisuke. Sadness. "Oh, Daisuke.. You just changed my entire outlook on this stream. First time I've ever seen the stream become sad.." Sam frowned slightly, but laughed, "No matter. It'll change with the person's mood."(( ._. nagger. ))

Daisuke shivered slightly, "Really? Is it a magic river?" He said half jokingly half serious.

Sam shrugged, "I think it has to do more of ancestry.. Many of my family members have lived near this stream.. Many have died.. I believe it has to do with souls and spirits walking about. I believe they feel our pain and make the rivers become cold when we feel sad or alone.. They make the rivers become red, fiery hot, when we're angry.. And so on and so forth. I don't know.. My mother told me this when I was younger, and I've believed it ever since."

Daisuke stood in marvel at the stream, a thought crossed his mind. "Has anyone, ever died in this stream?" He stood there wondering, hoping the water would go back to normal.

Sam shook her head, "I haven't seen it but my mother said that death would make the stream turn blood red. Our relatives would all have to stand in the river, after getting the body out, and tried to be purely happy. Music was usually played, but some of us was still sad.. This process was years after the person died.. When all of us were somewhat healed up from the scars."

Daisuke got out of the water. "Well, sounds, weird if you ask me." He wondered if he should try to catch another fish, but then again if she didn't have enough to make him something he'd be fine with it.

Sam shrugged, "Eh.. I know.. But whatever, right? Seems legit to me." She started to walk back toward the house, "C'mon. I promised I'd bake you a cake, right?" Sam tilted her head towards Dai, smiling.

Daisuke walked over and picked up his shirt, but didn't put it on. "When we get back, before we bake is it alright that i take a shower? a nice warm shower." He then walked over to Sam to follow her back home.

Sam looked back at him, smiling, "Well, duh. You can take as many showers as you want, dear. I do not mind at all." Sam placed her hands behind her head as she walked.
