Danika processed the information. The polarity of the suit was reversed, plan b. She pulled out one of her daggers with her free hand while the other put up the useless gun, then proceeded to grab another dagger. "There are other ways..." She said "Nothing personal, of course. As I'm sure you'd do the same for others close to you, the only family you had left..." She said, listening to sirens blaring from firetrucks and other emergency vehicles to contain the growing blaze. .

The situation was getting more and more dire. It now seemed imminent that blood will spill. What has happened to this world? We have police officers killing each other.
Asuka gazed around. The CPF were starting to grasp the situation. Some were even reaching for their guns. "Weapons down," Asuka ordered, his voice stern. They did so. He could not afford blood to be spilled, especially when these people were suppose to be working together.
Pushing Hessler to an officer behind, Asuka assumed a defensive Judo stance. Danika would have to get passed him to get to her father. Trying one last time, Asuka tried to reconcile with Danika. "Don't do this Danika. There's no way you will be able to get out of this for free. Even if you are able to leave the area, you would have the whole CPF looking for you. When caught, not only your father would be facing heavier charges, but so will you."
Asuka stared at Danika, his eyes, usually void of emotion, was replace with one of sorrow. "Don't do this."

Danika bit her lip. Did she really want to make things worse? He was all the family she had left, but should she risk the both of them being incarcerated, or worse? It seemed as if the world was worse off since things started changing, and Danika just wanted it to stop. Without realizing it, tears leaked from her eyes as she dropped her daggers. What had the world come to? She sank to the ground and rested her head on her drawn up knees. .

Upon witnessing Danika lose the will to fight, Asuka got out of his stance. Seeing her all drawn up and on the the ground, Asuka was slightly torn. Putting one hand up to his headset, he ordered "Escort Mr. Hessler out of here." The officer holding the man swiftly obliged, escorting Hessler to the back of a CPF cruiser. The other officers returned to their previous assignments, mainly sorting through the chaos and helping the wounded.
After giving his orders, Asuka stepped forward, until he was just a few feet in front of Danika, just out of arm's reach. Asuka stood there, inspecting Danika, wondering what he should do to help comfort her. Asuka was not especially adept at these kinds of situation.
Finally he said "Danika, stand up. We have a job to do." He reached out his hand, open-palmed, towards the young woman.

Upon hearing Asuka's voice, Danika looked up, suprised. She replaced her daggers where she had them stored, out of sight, wiped her eyes carefully with one hand, with the other, she took his hand and pulled herself up. She hadn't expected him to stick around and bother with her, so she was going to see why, if she could. "And what job would that be, exactly?" She asked curiously, wondering if he had something in mind. .

Anthony fell on his a**, mainly out of surprise thanks to the explosion, but also because he was almost hit in the head with a crobar wielded by an angry civilian. Anthony pulled out his own weapon and quickly disarmed the man, "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to calm down and not move while I place you under arrest." Anthony said as politely as possible. The man before him could have easily been seven, maybe even eight feet tall and two feet wide with watermelons instead of biceps. Instead of obliging, the man decided to rush Anthony. He jumped and rolled out of the way, but the man, with the agility of an accomplished running back, turned and kept coming. Anthony threw several punches to the man's gut and broke his knee cap with the pipe he used as his weapon. The large man screamed. "Police brutality!" rang out from the man's mouth and echoed through the streets. Anthony's eyes grew wide. This had been planned. He could tell because armed men started pouring out of the alleys, "That. Is. So. Screwed. Up." he said, "Miss Hessler! Asuka! We've got company!" he called.

((Sorry for the lack of posts! Couldn't find where the thread went sweatdrop On a side note: Congrats everyone for making Lvl 2!!))
Asuka was shocked by how fast Danika recovered. Then again, Asuka wasn't exactly an expert of how people thought; He wasn't a very social person. He was more of the "Follow your orders and right what you think is wrong" kind of person. In other words, he seldom shows his emotions while on the job. This has lead him to get friendly with few individuals.
Upon hearing Danika's question, the first response Asuka has was to lecture about justice, law, peace and how all those things were morals of the CPF. But then Anthony screamed and a whole mob of armed civilians came out of nowhere. Asuka immediately sprinted to action. Asuka first ordered the police cruiser carrying Mr. Hessler to head off, in case the civilians try to set him free. He then ordered the Riot Unit to form a defensive perimeter around the parliament building. This was achieved rather easily, as most of the CPF were concentrated in the vicinity of the building due to the Ranger Crisis. He then stood watch over the crowd, ready to react in case anything got out of hand.
Will they drop their weapons and go home? Or will they become more aggressive and become violent?
Asuka hoped it was the former. He hated harming the very people the CPF were supposed to protect.

[right I still need to post, was at work and my phone wasn't working so I'll make new characters now. I have a good idea where to go but I just need some set pieces. And yes, I only go on gaia on my phone :p By the way people, we need a lot more traceurs, get yo friends!]
Umi walked through the streets helping the wounded get to the nearest CPF Rescue Vehicle, he was a traceur but he wanted to help, they couldn't touch him for helping the injured. It had been an hour since the fighting stopped and the chaos was slowly ending, the armed forces fighting the CPF had completely surrendered, most just going with the flow. Their leader was defeate, causing the Rangers to, almost immediately, drop their weapons and begin cleaning up the streets. There were many civilians caught in the fray - Umi lifted a man up, he was still alive but barely conscious, "Roman sure knows how to start a riot," Umi muttered, sighing while looking around the area. He had entered the downtown area after completing his drop off mission, hearing Roman's name was a clear reason to come. They were both rivals and were trained by the same person. "Umi, are you there?" a voices entered his head. "Master?!" Umi said with a surprised tone in his voice, his master had been in intensive care for a long time, his body was completely ruined and was in a coma, both Roman and himself worked hard to gather enough money for his reconstructive surgery, "how is this possible?" "I'll explain to you later, come get me, I tire of the smell in this room." "Yes master, I'll be right there."
[okay so the next character doesn't have a profile yet since she won't be that important till I can figure out where to go with her]
Senator Sophia Bard entered the congregation room of the Parliament building. She avoided the building for hours knowing that Hessler would try to take it first. Looking in the room a few CPF officers were gathered along with Hessler downed in the center. Her temporary worker, Roman, was dead in the far corner. It was unfortunate but she lived up to her bargain, she paid for Vulcan's revival, although she would have preferred not to. "At ease everyone," she announced, stepping in front of Hessler, "I suppose you all know who I am. The fighting has ended outside, we need you take transfer the suspect to District 7's CPF office to the North, and please do it discreetly, I don't want the suspect seen in public, get him out of the suit." A pair of CPF grunts entered the room with a stretcher, although it looked more like a torture device with all the shackles on it. "Miss Danika Hessler, you know CPF protocol, you cannot be in the vincinity of crime of a family member, come I have some questions for you."

Danika heard Ms Bard's words, but hadn't remembered until then. "Of course, how silly of me to forget.." She said, trying to avoid the growing riot outside, and forget what was going on in her life at the moment, She walked over to her, ready to follow, wondering what she would be asked. .
Carmela got up from behind her shelter, hoping her once friend would be okay, then made her way to Asuka. "So, what's the plan?" She asked, referring to the mass of civilians. Leave it to Anthony to take matters too far without thinking things through.

Anthony...Why is it when there's trouble, you are always there? Asuka was thinking this before Camela approached him.
Asuka looked at the newcomer. Officer Camela, slight recognition shown on his face. He knew that she was a dependable officer; Capable of getting the job done.Without nearly as much show as Officer Anthony. Though what the job was now, Asuka had no idea. This has been a hell of a day...
Scratching his head, Asuka scanned Camela over. I guess I can be honest with her... It seemed Asuka didn't need to keep his "In-Control" image in front of her; She would probably see through it anyway. "Honestly Camela, I have no idea," he replied. "The appearance of a high-ranking politician in a danger zone is uncommon. Perhaps..." Asuka paused. Better to not have doubts about the people you serve; That only causes more problems.
"In any case, we should get these people back home," Asuka motioned towards the crowd. Most of them, after calming down a bit, were starting to tire of trying to get through the line of Riot Officers. Some were even starting to leave.
"The other people will take care of Hessler. Guess we are stuck with clean-up duty." With that Asuka stride off down the street; helping the wounded, and handling overly-aggressive citizens into the back of CPF cruisers. Asuka just wanted to get this over with and go home to a good night's rest.

Sophia Bard left the Parliament building to the rear of the building, slowly waltzing through the debris scattered throught he area from fighting earlier. The area was calm but there were still small outbreaks in the area; however, the CPF seemed to be handling the situation. "We've been monitoring your father for over a year now Danika," Sophia turned towards Danila, looking her straight in the eyes, "so what we want to know is your involvement in the situation. Nathan hasn't put you in a good position behing his daughter, so what we want to know is your take in this entire situation." Sophia stepped into an unmarked vehicle which was filled with surveilence devices littered among the walls of the vehicle.
-------
Umi entered one of the largest privately owned hospitals in the city, his master had been admitted there many years prior. He always tried to avoid this hospital, it reminded him of the first rebellion. Walking through the main lobby he seemed to pass through without many prying eyes trying to figure out what he was there for. Upon arriving on the seventh floor, he walked straight into the room he preferred to avoid previously, the room of Vulcan, the life changing man who was presumed dead. "Master, I have arrived," Umi announceslx, entering the room, "I'm glad you're well Master."

Danika followed Sophia out of the building and listened to all that was being said carefully. She stepped into the automobile with caution, thinking of the right way to put her answer. "Yes, I am his daughter. But, like every other child, I do not fully agree with everything he does. I had heard bits and pieces, never enough for me to know exactly what was going on. By the time I figured it out, it was too late, and he was keeping me out of the room for my own safety. His rangers wouldn't let me go in, or leave. So, clearly, I had no chance to either report it, or try to prevent it, you see, because I had to be sure of what he was doing." Danika elaborated. "Do I want to see him carted off to prison? No, he's my father and has raised me since birth. Cared for me to the upmost degree. He wouldn't do anything to hurt me...But, like I said, we don't always see eye to eye. So, he kept me away from his Rangers, to keep me safe." She said sincerely, taking note of the surveilence equipment all around. .
Carmela nodded before turning around to help with 'clean-up'. Sure, some people were unruly, and shrugged her off. But, she had a tendency to gain people's trust, something that was useful in the interrogation rooms she often worked in. She honestly tried to look out for everyone, helped them stand a chance, if they had a leg to stand on, that is. She managed to convince alot of civilians to turn around and head home, and that it was all a misunderstanding.
