when you go to a football game to see the marching bands mrgreen

You know your a band nerd when...
~You still have all your old music from last year ((I just moved and it was my first year here and I still have my music from the other place but I was only there to start band then I moved that summer))
~and you still play the music from last year
~You come out of band huming the stuff you just played
~When you can't sleep cause you want to play your instrument
~When your hair looks good and your first thought is my hair would make your instrument look good
~When its your sucurity item
~When you stop eating stuff cause you don't want it in your instrument cause you have band next period
~When you have a computer addiction but while your on you want to be playing your instrument
~When the person next to you messes up and you hear it and you get pissed at them
~When you go to school next and you will be flauting this to all of your band mates

I have my music from 5th grade, I play my music from 5th grade, I hum whatever I just played, whether from band or at home, haven't noticed the next 4, I have noticed the computer addiction thing, I have gotten pissed at the person next to me who messes up, unless he is really good, and I probably will not be telling this to my band mates. None of them give a crap about band... yet they all get mad that we don't do well. I always say you have to work to win, but no one listens, does very little, and gets mad when we do poor.

@Shruikan001-we have 10 members and 7 want to quit but I'm not one of them but one who wants to stay is the guy who has a crush on me and he is just like a friend but then the other person is this guy who thinks he is a dragon slayer yeah I stay away from him

@Red and Silver Death-Um... we have somthing like that well its just this one guy and he is like very sexual and in his in the frount row with me there is only 4 of us and there is one girl between us and I feel bad for her and he gets sexual with the clarent and I turn when does it and after he is finished he says "I'm finished you can turn back around" then one time we where going though the band book call eachother songs he was Hey Ho and I was Easy as It goes and I came really close to slaping him

every thing minus the third on I know what you mean mostly the is a band thing and the out of tune is right up my ally and I consider my band one big happy band family

... i what you mean lol one time this guy was changing got to his underwear then came and gave me hug and says "can't wait to see you tonight big boy" and I still played along with it XD

and you know your band nerd when you wait in the band room in the morning before you go to class

When you're your director's Teacher Assistant.

When you've spent your Teacher Assistant period ransacking your director's office with your best friend in search of the director's book of band jokes.
When you're one of two students ever who knows that all of his jokes come from a book that is SOMEWHERE IN THAT DANGED OFFICE. >_>

When you know every one in marching and both concert band's names. And you're a senior.

When your best-friend-little-brother is in the National Symphony Orchestra and can get you discounted front-row tickets to his performance.
Seriously. He's a sophomore and he's THAT good at bass trombone.

You practice your instrument with minor pneumonia, so you don't anger your temper-mental band director when you don't know the rhythms and notes.
BAD IDEA, but I did it anyway.
