Nienna beamed and rewarded Glitch with a kiss on the cheek. "It's good to know where I stand."
Aeolus flew overhead, looking for his oldest daughter. He spiraled down once he spotted her, with some sort of brown glob. "Daughter of mine, where have you been? And whom are you with?"
Nienna grinned and moved away from Glitch to kiss her father. "Hi Daddy! This is Glitch. He's mine." She bubbled as she told her father, moving back and tangling her arm through Glitch's.

Glitch gulped. When she said he should meet her father, he hadn't thought she'd meant right now. "Um, hello, Sir. It's nice to meet you?" he said nervously.

Aeolus looked the male over, in the down the nose fashion that Nienna was known for. "You don't appear to be any sort of special...what is it that my daughter sees in you?"
"Daddy!" She blushed and hid her head against Glitch's neck.

"Laughter is important, though it is not everything." Aeolus frowned, "You must know that she needs to be protected. There are many out there who would wish to hurt my family, simply because they are connected to me. Are you going to be able to keep her safe?"
"MeMela is quite capable of keeping me happy and safe, Father." Nienna's giggling tone was gone and replaced with an exasperated one. "And I am capable of protecting myself."
