Yeah, it's a lousy time to be without a job.
I'm just glad I'm still gettin' me some schoolin'.
Some guy actually dropped his job to be on America's Got Talent.
It'll be really sad if he loses. Because he'll be unemployed. That's what I call a bad life decision.

Look. I know school/college classes just started up again.. this is a hard time in RL, let alone here, with the intrahouse problems we've had, and the scramble we've been caught up in to cover our asses there.
I'd appreciate it very much if the Barton Town thread did not become a backburner/afterthought deal. We are trying to recruit new members outside of UG, as well as work in some characters that are already members of the guild.
If you have not posted in response to the portal crossing, I highly encourage (and would greatly appreciate) you doing so at your earliest convenience.

But as soon as a few other of ya post, I'll cook something up. Though I would highly suggest one of our non-Drow characters who couldn't find a reason to join might want a heads up or something. Now would be a kick a** time for a demon to introduce themselves.

I have no f'in clue what the first paragraph means, but I agree with Maku 100% on this. I do NOT want to battle more NPC creatures. It's counterproductive to the mission of this thread: to draw normal, literate gaians into RP'ing here, which we have been epic failing at by roleplaying in a very specialized niche. The sooner we get to the surface the better, so I'd very much appreciate the non-drow finding a way to come forward during the Shadow Plane sequence. We gotta get to the surface... I worry that our thread alienates a lot of non-guild readers. We have to make it more accessible.
