Well,what's it gonna be Cloud? Do you wanna talk to her? Or just sit here in your angst? Cloud hesitated and kept his seat on the barrel. Then,he started heading upstairs.

Why is it so hard nym thought I just want all my friends to be happy at any cost! But. . . What about me? nym had a grave look on her face and tried to hold back her tears. I must be strong, I must be strong nym thought to herself.

Cloud walked into Nym's room and looked at her. Her face said everything:they were thinking about the same thing and it was tearing them apart. He sat next to her in silence. Being a sensitive guy,it was hard to hold back tears,so it hurt him on the inside.

when nym saw Cloud enter she brighted a little glad to see he was not angry with her Your not mad? Great nym thought I wonder if I should tell him about how things are? nyms throat was stuffed with cotton she couldn't speak first even if she were to try. she started to cry.

Cloud shed a tear as he had Nym lay her head on his shoulder. It felt like their first night,but more sad. "How hard is it to get self-content in this dark world?" He was speaking for both of them.

nym felt the butterflies and the cotton in her throat but she knew she had to talk, and this time she did not have the aid of her tea. She chose not to answer the question but out right speak, "Cloud?" nym said "um you know I only wanted to be a vampire that was why I hung around Ginji?" she paused "Ling thought it was because I liked him." nym just sat there for a minute then said her final piece "I only say this because I think you may have bin confused by that too." after that nym was silent waiting for Cloud to respond.

"Why do you care for the same fool who pulled a scene more than once,the same loser who came here because he had nothing?" Cloud empathized with Nym and cried in small bursts.

nym spoke with tears running down her cheeks "Because i care for all my friends." nym said "Once I care for you, your stuck with me thats it. It does not matter what they have done or will do once I care about you that is the bottom line." nym always put her friends first, once she counted someone as a friend the only way to get rid of her was to ignore her. She was too loyal for her own good but she didnt't know it.

Cloud embraced Nym. "I care for you too. More than you know. I guess what I wanted to say the other day was...I'm staying here because I've grown feelings for you and I don't want you to be alone. No matter who leaves and what happens,I'll always be here for you,even if it pains me."

nym was so happy Cloud wasnt angry with her and he was going to stay, she started to cry more but it was out of happiness knowing he will be there was great to nym who thought she was going to be left alone. yay, a friend forever nym thought. "I promise to stay and help you too Cloud. No matter what." nym whispered not being able speak any louder.

Cloud wiped the tears from his face,as well as Nym's. He smiled at her,knowing that things were gonna get better in life.

nym returned the smile with a weak one of her own, since it was all she could manage. Nym wasn't used to emotional situations and was so glad of how things were turning out, after we get Clouds immortality renewed I think I'll be able to finally relax nym thought.

nym shook her head "No Cloud, you should do it this way." nym knew the only other way was to be a vampire and she could not ask Cloud to do that.

"I'll find another way. Whatever it takes. For you." At that instant,Cloud had a flashback. It was the day they first met. Cloud touched one of Nym's flowers and it was given life. "That's a neat trick," she said.
