"You would," muttered Deathstroke under his breath. In a louder tone, he said. "Alright. You both obviously are impressed with him, and so am I... to a certain degree. I do, however, have one question." He paused. "How are we planning on controlling him? I think if it came down to it, I could take out the clown." He shot said clown a rather withering look. "Obviously difficult to plan things out ahead of time in his case. I can't, however, do much at all about someone like HIM. Do you have something in place in the event that he turns out to be a little TOO unstable?"

"Shoot him in the face!" the Joker yelled. He thought his plan was a very good one.
Lex thought for a moment. "Between your considerable skills, my technology, and Gossamer's magic, when she gets back, I doubt he be able to cause us a great deal of trouble."
"And if that doesn't work, THEN can we shoot him in the face and be done with it?"
Lex ignored the clown's comment.

Deathstroke thought for a moment, then shrugged. "Alright," he replied, the tone in his voice adding 'on your own head be it'. "Do you know how to get in touch with him?"

"His identity is a matter of public record," Lex said, pulling up several back issues of the Daily Bugle detailing Spider-Man's exploits against the Green Goblin. "From that, we can find everything we need, including..." A city map appeared, with a single dot connected to a picture of Norman Osborn. "...His home of record."
"Wow," the Joker said, impressed. "Is that how you found me?"
"No. You, I simply followed the explosions."
"Oh." That actually made sense.

Deathstroke picked up one of the most recent articles. "This one says that Spider-man was caught trying to frame upstanding businessman Norman Osborn as the infamous Green Goblin." Of course, that was what a criminal mastermind would manipulate the situation to LOOK like.

"A combination of master criminal work, and biased journalism, I assure you," Lex commented. "Word on the street is that the Bugle's Editor-in-Chief has 'a bit of a mad on' for Spider-Man. Apparently, that means he doesn't like him very much."

"You shouldn't try to use slang, Lex," Deathstroke said absently. "... Did you want one of us to go and contact him?"

"Actually, I thought I'd go myself," Lex said. "As his image is that of an upstanding businessman, I believe it would be best to approach him from that angle. However, I'd like you both on call, as well as Gossamer, should the situation turn to our distinct disadvantage."

Luthor grabbed a phone, and dialed the number of record for Oscorp. "Might as well disguise this as a business meeting..." He waited for someone, probably the receptionist, to answer.

After a few rings, a young woman's voice answered. "Oscorp main desk," she said in a polite, coolly professional voice, "How may I help you?"

"Yes, I'd like to schedule a meeting with your C.E.O., Mr. Norman Osborn." Lex wasn't going to beat around the bush. "For as soon as possible."

"I see." The already cool tone of the woman's voice chilled a bit. "And may I tell him who is requesting the meeting?" Slight emphasis on the word requesting.

There was a pause. "Just a moment." A longer pause and ringing sound followed, then a man answered. It was an automated message, however. "You've reached the desk of Norman Osborn's personal assistant. Please leave your contact information and a short message." Beep.
