 Mitsukai
‘You wanna hurt Cory as much as I want to hurt Lorrie, don’t deny it.’ Mitsukai mumbled, feeling horrible. She looked at the paper and then was startled when he took her glove off. Her immediate thoughts were the words Lorrie said to her. ‘You think you know him because of your fancy power, but I’m sure he wouldn’t even be talking to you right now if you didn’t find out about his past. You make me sick. At least I know because he told me himself. I know I hurt him, and I’m sorry for that, but you have no right to throw the past back in my face. Who are you to him? Nothing! A mere acquaintance that he happened to meet by chance. And he didn’t just like me, he loved me. And he still does! Or, am I wrong?’ the words echoed in her head, obvious in Lorries voice. The whole scene in first period played, oh great, stupid power! Mitsukai pulled her hand back, hating her power. She knew Thorne would hear her thoughts. Mitsukai felt herself getting angry, oh then one of her fingers exploded. Okay, she was going to be sick. “Dammit Thorne!” She said sharply. “Next time you’re going to be an idiot and do that, give me a heads up so I don’t steal your power.”
Mitsukai said and pressed her fingers to her temple. She noticed a few students looked back at them, trying to understand why they were arguing. Mitsukai figured she’d explain her view on the ‘competition’. “Hun, you may not view it as a competition, but Lorrie does. And obviously, ima have to. And it isn’t about who gets to be with you! It’s about communication. I wouldn’t care if you got back with Lorrie, as long as she doesn’t hurt you. Like me and Cory are now friends, since he no longer hurts me. But she wants you to hate my guts. No longer talk to me. Understand? And she has the plus side. I’m a new friend who has a stupid power that allows me to know anything I want about you with a simple touch. She’s a person you told everything to. A person you loved and you still do. A person you trusted. Yea she freaked out when she saw your power. She was hypocritical. But she’s sorry.”
Mitsukai had an huge headache, and felt like she was going to explode, literally. Oh and she never answer his question. “At this current moment, I just wanna be your friend, an ubber close friend.” She said honestly. She had no clue how she felt about Thorne. Did she like him? She wasn’t sure. But one thing was certain; Mitsukai never dated a boy she knew for only two days. A few weeks sure, but she needed time. And now with Lorrie back, there was no use rushing just because of her arrival. “I don’t wanna rush our relationship just because she’s back.” Mitsukai mumbled, and finally looked at Thorne. He looked mad. Great oh just great! Mitsukai knew that Thorne, the friendship, and whatever else that might develop in the future was gone simply because the love of Thorne’s life wanted Mitsukai dead. Oh fate, it’s so amazing isn’t it?

Kyuubi watched the fight between Thorne and Mitsukai. He wanted no part of it. He just waited for class to start. He enjoyed this class mostly because he could just stare off into space because he had, for the most part, perfect control over his powers. That came from him having years of practice before he even came to the school. He looked out the window and noticed a couple of puddles still there from Mitsukai's storm. He made the puddle disperse into mid air. He looked back to the two in time to see Thorne take off Mitsukai's glove and hold her hand. He saw Mitsukai's finger explode. 'I hope Thorne didn't mean her to take his power' he thought.

Nikky had liked the opening day of cosmetology class. She emerged with a streak of blue hair. It complimented her eyes quite well. She made her way to Advanced Power Control. She knew that most of the upperclass men had it second of either day.
Nikky entered the classroom to find Mitsukai and Thorne, and it looked as if they were arguing. She decided to find a seat near her friend, but not too close as to interrupt whatever was going on. Upon seeing Kyubbi, she made her way over to him. "Hi! So, what have I missed?" She asked, glancing over her shoulder to Thorne and Mitsuaki..
Daina knew she was going to have fun in chemistry. The teacher was awesome and had already had experiments lined up for them. Her next class was Psychology. She was looking foward to that one as well. To learn the intricate workings of the Brain! She left chemistry when the bell rang and found her way to the psychology classroom.
The teacher in there was just as enthusiastic about her subject as her chemistry teacher was. Thats what made the classes all the more interesing, the teachers loved the subjects as well. She wished that she had some of her friends in there with her, but she wouldn't be suprised if none were..
Cadence looked at Mitsukai with shock upon hearing her statement. She made a glance over at the new girl and wondered how she could have set such an internal battle about in her friend. She turned to her assignment without another word, and pondered the rest of the class.
When the bell rang, she too headed to Advanced Power Control. She saw Mitsukai and Thorne arguing, and Kyubbi and Nikky in the back, along with many others dispersed randomly in the room. She walked back to Kyubbi and Nikky. "Hello, wonderful first day? And, oh, Nice blue hair Nikky." She said, kind of sarcastically.

"Hey" Kyuubi greeted Nikky. "Mitsukai and Thorne are having an argument about how Mitsukai and Thornes ex girlfriend hate eachother." he explained about what he heard from sitting close. "Thorne took of Mitsukai's glove and took her hand and I am sure that Thorne used her power to show her something. Mitsukai didn't have control over what she got so she has his powers right now" he finished.

O, it is excellent to have a giant's strength, but it is tyrannous to use it like a giant.
Mike rubbed his forehead in annoyance. A new teacher had shown up and had no clue where to go. She even had a map and she was lost. Why did the school hire such incompetents?
"You are on the completely wrong side of the school," He said with annoyance dripping off of his voice. "Now, I suggest you get out of here immediately or you can help me with a private training session."
Jet felt kind of awkward listening to him talk to her. Yeah, it was annoying that she interrupted, but he didn't have to be a jerk.
The highest proof of virtue is to possess boundless power without abusing it.

"I would but, I easily get lost." Aura giggled a little, nervously.
"If I help, is there a way I can obtain a guide..?" She blinked, thinking the the training session was going to be something like helping someone work out.. She crossed her arms more out of nervousness than anything. She felt a bit intimidated by the guy, but she truly was doing her best not to let herself be intimidated. After she spoke she smiled a bit nervously, she really was nervous but it was mainly because this whole place was big.

Mike sighed. This was going against how he had planned things completely, but perhaps it was better if the kid learned to control a power other than telekinesis at first. And this way, he didn't really have to do anything, attributing to his lazy side.
"I will guide you to the office after the training session," Mike offered. "I want you to teach this boy how to use your power." He then turned to Jet, and said, "If you learn to master one power, the others will quickly fall into place."
Jet nodded, ready to accept the challenge.

Rico walked into the Advanced Power Control class and sat in the back of the class. The people around him were not his friends, though he hadn't talked to any of them and tried to be. He was a loner at heart and that's how he preferred it. People were to be used, not enjoyed. It was a life style he was used to. His parents taught him to be like that. So what if he had carried it a little too far in his last school?
He sighed and let metal creep out of his clothes and encompass his hand like a glove. He always carried a good amount of metal under his clothes, for whenever it was needed. It was like a second skin. If he were to ever lose it, he would feel completely weakened and naked. The metal withdrew itself back under his clothing.
He tried to tune out the lover's quarrel in front of him and waited for class to start.

~  ~ "Eh..?" Aura was a bit confused at the guy's request. "I'm not sure how it works... But I can show him." She blinked then asked the boy, "Uh, can you tell me your name so I don't have to refer to you as 'the boy'?" She reached into her suitcase and pulled out a sketch pencil and opened her sketchbook to a blank page as she started sketching little butterflies, just as she finished sketching them, she breathed on the sketches and then, they fluttered off the page. If not for the pencil markings, and no color, the butterflies could have been mistaken for real ones..

 Lily walked into the school that day, she was new here and had no idea where to do or what to do. She she went to the front and asked for her schedule. Her brother was right behind her. She held her schedule and found out it was second period. She went to Algebra and walked in silently. The teacher saw her and smirked, "you must be Carter... find a seat please! Your late!" Lily blushed nervously and found a seat. Alex followed Lily to class and waved to her when she entered. He then looked around for a while, in search of his class. He found Biology and entered the class. The teacher looked at Alex and frowned, "Find your seat please, Carter!" He went to his seat and sat down quietly.
