Nastara she smiled but it was tinted with a bit of sadness. She'd hoped he'd ask what she couldn't/ wouldn't, but she still knew it was too soon. " If you'd like a kiss you are welcome to claim one Asher-dear". She fought the urge to look around and see if there was anyone about. She was a bit shy about PDA's usually, but something about Asher just pushed some manners out of her head.

Leaning in and smiling, Asher gave her a gentle, quick kiss before pushing a side of her hair out of the way and leaning his forehead against hers. "Psst... guess what..."

She returned the kiss, putting her feelings into it. She was a bit surprised when he leaned against her, but she simply breathed in deep, noting the scent that was Asher. She was unable to put a name to it, but it comforted her. "hhhm?" She murmured.

Asher smiled as he looked into her eyes. "Believe it or not, you're even more beautiful up close. I hadn't thought that would have been possible." He kissed her forehead and replaced his head on hers. "And I can smell your roses, even though we're surrounded by other flowers."

Her eyes sparkled at the compliment and kiss as she sighed with happiness. "Roses have a strong scent, and I use rose oil too.....but you smell even better than the flowers.....so.....comforting. I know I'm protected near you.....

He winked at her as he pulled away. "The only thing I'm worried about protecting you from is other guys! Of course, I think Illeyana and Jasper would take care of anyone who wanted to mess with you before I even heard about it." He nuzzled her neck lightly. "You have a very protective and caring family."

Nastara blushed a bit at the comment. "Yeah....about that. I'm sorry, I really had no idea that they had that planned. And the only reason I didn't come rushing down to put a stop to it was that Jasper said if I did, Em wouldn't let me go out today......So I had to wait and just trust in them to not be to harsh...."She added in a lower tone," or embarass me too much"

"It's nothing to apologize for or worry about, dear. They were just making sure of some things." He nudged her a bit. "Shall we walk around the pond?" He looked up; the sky was getting darker, so he figured it was getting a bit later. "Or do you need to be home by a certain time?"

"Nope, I don't have to be back at any certain time. I made a lasagna for Emerald to heat up for dinner....So I'm free from my chores for the day. I wasn't lying or exaggerating when I told you I'm yours for the day.

Asher nodded. "It still amazes me how well and how often you cook." As they were walking, he came upon a pebble that was round and fit into his paw easily; he lobbed it into the pond, watching it land with a little splotchy splash. He looked down at his arm before saying, "Huh... I didn't think it splashed all the way over here, but it got my arm wet..." Another drop of water hit his nose. He looked up; "Oh. The weather channel..." many more drops fell, "lied..." He looked up in slight horror as the rain came down faster. "So, um, are you hungry? 'Cause I am, and I'd really rather not get soaked, and there's a small cafe inside!"

She squealed as the first drop of water landed with a wet "plop" on the tip of her muzzle."Weather reports always lie! But I agree, lets go!"

He nodded again before dashing off to get under cover, checking back every two seconds to make sure Nastara was next to him and not hurt. He heaved a huge sigh of relief when the got in the doors; luckily, most of the garden crowd had left for home and it wasn't too stuffy in the building. "So, food? We haven't eaten yet; I hope cafe food doesn't taste horrible to you."

Nastara laughed. "I do enjoy eating out Asher. I'm not that much of a snob." She brushed her damp hair back from her face as she looked around. "I love the decore in here! Such a great idea to used pressed flowers as the art for the walls!" She got distracted by a pressed rose, muttering to herself as she speculated on how they did it.

Smiling, he stood next to her at looking at the flower. "I didn't mean you're a snob; just pointing out that the chances of finding food prepared as well as yours would be hard." He peered at the rose, not sure how they kept the layers from getting messed up without ripping the petals. he nudged her lightly before prompting, "Would you like any sort of food in particular?"

She shook her head slightly to clear it. "Um particular food? Nothing comes to mind...what do they have here? She wanders towards the front counter to look at the menu.
