*Kas would step into the inn, holding the door open for Aes since he was carrying most of her bags. As soon as he stepped in, she released the door and looked around, saying* "Shouldn't there be someone here to give us a room...?"

Wedsday came scrambling in. He couldn't find the clerk anywhere, so he would have to do. "Hullo! Oh, Aes! What's up-" he stopped when he saw Kasumi, ok, this was a twist "I gather you're not here to work, you need a place?"

Wedsday Wedsday came scrambling in. He couldn't find the clerk anywhere, so he would have to do. "Hullo! Oh, Aes! What's up-" he stopped when he saw Kasumi, ok, this was a twist "I gather you're not here to work, you need a place?" *With a nod, Kas would gently take Aes's arm and then say* "Mm hmm." *As she looked up to Aes and gave him a small smile before saying* "Are there any...um....long-term rooms available?" sweatdrop

Damnit, more than a one-night stand psuedo thing he thought to himself Okies, letme think, How much does Aes deserve, and what won't break my bank...there's no full moon out tonight, so they won't need anything that fancy, hmmm...could just give them the standard temp, but Aes has seen what we use to clean the bathroom with....technically he should be living in the staff apartment rooms, but that's only for one person...I got it!
"I'll stick you in a master suite. I've hired some more help, so you don't need to worry about the room service, and as long as you continue to work here the room is free." he nodded to himself in satisfaction

"The television problem's been fixed in there? Thank you, Mr. Wedsday, and of course I'll continue to work here." he smiled at the last bit, thinking that nobody had occupied this place permantly for awhile. he hoisted up the other bags, whent around the back desk, and retrieved two of the keys for one suite. "It's just upstairs." he said to Kasumi, and within twenty paces they were there.

*Kas nodded once more as she followed Aes up the stairs to the suite, looking at him and then taking one of the keys and putting it in the keyhole. Twisting the key and unlocking the door, she would slowly push the door forward, her eyes lighting up as she looked around their new home.*

It was a little more comfortable furnished than the apartments, and certainly better off than Aes's old abode. It was about twenty by thirty, with a television near the windows, a large king bed centered in the middle of the room. To the left was a bath, and next to that a shower sectioned from the rest of the place by another room that functioned as the w/c. He laid Kasumi's bags by the nightstand, and waited to see what she would think of it all.

It had a working shower, the room iteself wasn't cold, and they had a big bed all to themselves. Kas would walk over to the nightstand and lift up her bags, placing them on the bed and unpacking quickly. The first thing she wanted to do was take a nice, hot shower. Or perhaps a bath! It'd been so long since she'd taken a hot bath...* "I'm going to take a bath, ok?" * She asked as she put away her clothes in the drawer and tossed the empty bags in the closet*

He remebered he had a somewhat flawed habit of following her at these times, so he just nodded to her, trying not to laugh. He found a spot on the bed that wsan't covered by some of her clothes, and laid down.

*Kas would enter her room, twirling the staff in hand and tossing it on the bed. She was exhaused, and the trip to the cliff didn't make it help any. She would close her eyes, still denying the fact that her brother died. She even began to deny that she left her room in the first place...*

He stopped at the edge of the inn, and glanced up the window. Yes, Kasumi was up there. He dreaded facing her. Not for his confrontation with Pale, but for the fact that it was her brother she had lost today in the wilderness. Her pain must equal Ms. Raynes. He nontheless whent inside an dbraved teh stairs, opening the door tentatively, and rested a hand on her shoulder.
