Lina watched them, as she kept loosing ground. She wouldn't attempt to catch up, but she would try to keep eyes on them in case Ren became injured.

Ren was tossed out of the side. Kansou let out a burst of speed and lunged forward, landing on her left palm into a headstand while performing a seal with the other.
"Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu!"
Two genjutsus would take effect upon Tier. The first would temporarily sever his brain's recognition of the artifical tracking systems. The second, if the first was dispelled, would alter the nature of the information transferred as to further stop Tier from using his ability to track Kansou's chakra signature. Kansou gazed at the shadow before diverting her path with a cartwheel and landing upright to run into a copse of trees. She retrieved Ren.

Tier had gotten closer and could physically see Kansou's body. He noticed her turn upside down and then witnessed her going in a different direction than his sensors indicated. Tier's shadow form stopped as he materialized back to physical form. His single yellow eye seemed to turn off as it's yellow light dimmed to nothing. Tier was standing as still as a statue. The light in his eye started to glow yellow again. It took five more seconds to adjust to the environment. He spotted a blurred chakra signature that seemed to be Kansou's.
Tier started to form several handseals.

Lina kept closing, stopping what she assumed was a reasonably safe distance away. Her eyes kept watching, trying to draw in whatever Rai she could pull from the air and attempting to pull in energy from the moonlight.

Once out of visual range Kansou activated one last genjutsu over herself and Ren. She whispered.
"Meisai-Gakure..."
They both became transparent, fading into the forest.

Tier's systems were still adjusting to everything around him and he wasn't able to continue to track Kansou. The second Genjutsu had caught him off guard as her and Ren's chakra signatures disappeared. Tier stopped forming the handseals and stared off in the distance. "..."

Lina looked out then shook her head. Today really wasn't her day it seemed.

Tier's senses finally stabilized after Kansou's presence disappeared. He turned and started to walk towards Lina. Tier stopped next to her but didn't look at her, "As tired as you seem, you did a good job trying to slow her down."

She looked up. Still somewhat dazed from lack of energy. "Thanks I guess... Still nothing was accomplished by my actions here..."

"...The same goes for me." Tier started to walk past her before he stopped, "What was going on in the Rai Dojo before? Iri said something about being tied up with that other child."

"Iri's new student is either a demon, or lycan or some sort. He went a bit strange because of the moon. He had something to do with Bao who was apparently observing. Iri said he would be fighting with her when she asked me to come help here. I can't say what I was suppose to accomplish either direction." She turned her back and crossed her arms.

"..." Tier didn't respond right away. It looked like Lina was getting agitated by the current events judging by the stance she just took. "Then let's start heading back and see how the situation turned out."

"Roger" She turned back in the direction of the cave. Taking to the trees. Her mind was agitated. Her sister betrayed her in one day, then returned to shove it in her face. A demon was walking around wearing her brother's face, and had already caused her pain twice in the day, once physical, the other theft of something sentimental. She honestly kept asking herself why she didn't do anything more drastic with the demon.
Her reserves were low still, and she was likely going to suffer from recharge sickness if the day drew out too much more. Wounds needed time to heal, and there were still twelve days till her body shifted to heal itself of the deeper wounds.
Lina's mood seemed to go from her emotional state to something empty. She was putting off an aura similar to Killing intent, except it's only byproduct was as if the temperature just dropped near her instead of any attempts to induce fear with it.

Tier followed Lina and he too took to the trees after her. He quickly noticed there was something off about her. Maybe all the constant fighting that had been going on was pushing Lina to her breaking limits. Tier didn't know what she had gone through, but the aftermath was showing. Don't push yourself. It's my turn to be pulling most of the weight. He didn't want to say it because of the possible backlash the comment might have created. They made their way towards the cave where Iri and Ookamimaru were last seen.

She shivered as she kept moving. Her mind wasn't clear like normal when she tried to draw on them for a recharge. Likewise she knew she couldn't pull any energy from them anymore. What she had drawn in today was far too much for her system to process properly.
She clutched her hand open and closed a few times. She needed to focus on something and it was one of the few things she had been having trouble with through Rai. A sword made from one of her Rai barriers formed, then dissipated before leaving a mark on a tree they passed. Her mind started thinking as they kept going. She made no explanation for her action.
((so will we get back before they finish? or give them a while first?))
