 "What the hell?!?"Chico glanced behind her and saw Mikey running after her. She ran even faster,swerving around the trees as they blurred by.

Chico skidded to a halt and shifted back into a human. She turned around to face him.

mikey jumped over her took his zweilhander and sliced her in the back "die fool"he yelled

Chico collasped the the ground and screamed in agony. She felt a warm darkness spread over her back. She grunted in pain ad struggled to stand up"I promised myself I wouldn't be succumbed by vampires anymore..."she muttered when she stood.

She shifted into a tiger and lunged at him,her fangs bared.

Her eyes widened and she dropped to the ground. Her body shifted back to human form. A dark pool started spreading around her body as she struggled to breathe. She looked up at Mikey"I guess its true..."she whispered.

mikey then piked her up and took her to a cave and treated her wounds " ahh mom told me ta help othas even wen your blinded by rage " said mikey

Chico slept for a couple of hours then woke up"I'm alive...but I'm still caked in dried blood..."she whined but got up and stepped out of the cave.

She looked up at Mikey"I guess its true..."she whispered. Sabine watched from afar in her hunting form as Mikey brutally attacked Chico. Chico was mortally injured from Mikey's zweilhander and sharp claws, then fell to the ground in a pool of blood. Sabine ground her teeth together and unsheathed her sword, but did not make a move. My parents taught me not to get involved in the struggles of other species; to not defend another being in a fight unless it was a vampire from my coven. Especially not shape-shifters. But I hate watching others being killed..., Sabine thought shamefully as she watched Chico suffer. All the gruesome images from her past came flooding back into her mind; the execution of her parents, the wolves ripping her people to shreds, vampires being eaten alive, blood being shed as far as the eye could see.... Why... can't... I... forget...?! Sabine dropped her sword and fell to her knees, wincing and clutching her head in pain. All the destruction... death... and the suffering.... It just won't leave me...! Sabine cried out in horror as she recalled every gory detail against her will. WHY WON'T IT LEAVE ME?!?! She collapsed and lay sprawled out helplessly on the forest floor. "Why...?" she whispered quietly to herself before finally falling unconscious. She didn't get the chance to see Mikey crossing the boundaries between vampire and shape-shifter, and compassionately tending to the wounds he had inflicted on his foe....
