Eloquent Elocutionist

The boy in question had not moved from the elevator, which was now beginning to close.

Gabriel made a low noise, somewhat kin to growling and scratch the back of his head, "There's a console at the I.P. station you can use. I've modified it to run in stealth, so security shouldn't be a problem for you," the android spun around and saw Asher standing in the elevator. He gave a deathlike glare to the child, as though to say "Do anything stupid... and it won't end well," before shifting back to Conner, "As for the child. He can visit his sibling for the time being." There was an awkward poignant silence, "I guess I should explain myself a bit... about the boy,"

Turst smirked and pocketed a sizeable wad of credits after selling the bag of white powder. "And who says there's no such thing as free money, heh-" he cut off, almost tripping over himself when he saw a small haphazardly built stand and a grotesque lizard... thing behind it. Instantly the turian burst out laughing, "Oh! Isn't that cute, the iguana's built a lemonade stand for himself,"

((Finally! whee And that had better not be directed at me, lol.))

The elevator closed completely and began to rise, the small light above indicating that Asher had risen to the third floor, stopped, continued to the fifth, stopped, the seventh, stopped, came back down the the fourth, stopped, and back to the first floor, where the doors opened and he had been transformed to a young girl and presumably her daughter. Weird.

James Medjula sidled past the people in the crowd that was Icarus. Preferring not to be touched, the man shrouded in what seemed to be a big white bed sheet wandered, searching for an uncrowded corner of the world.

Jordan Truedale waved away his butler (one of them, anyway,) and pinched the bridge of his nose, cursing "that damn woman". He sighed and swiveled around in his ginormous black swivel chair, which poofed so much with cushyness his feet nearly didn't reach the floor. He stared at the computer screen for a moment, and then attacked the keyboard viciously with small, clicking, greedy claws.

Seeke glared at Turst with a menacing shine in his reptilian eyes. The lizard was not a pushover.

"Ye moyt want'uh shut dat mouthayers, yuh young, frivolous cheery." he scowled, his up-pointed fang bending out of his jaw, "I don't 'ave a problem wit' yew, suh don't gimmie any trouble and ye'll be keep in yeh teeth."

Turst raised his arms in mock surrender, barely holding back a spurt of laughter, "Hey hey... look here Godzilla, If you're looking for a crew I'd suggest not advertising," He dropped his hands and sauntered up to the stand, "And because your little sign was so cute, I'll give you some advice... A couple klicks north of here's a little joint by the name of Obek. You might find a few eager recruitees in there," with that he turn around and walked off, not without before planting a sly, forceful kick to one of the supporting beams to the lizard-man's stand, sending it collapsing to the ground.

Conner smiled and silently chuckled. "Well," she said after a pause, "if we reach the station alive, then information at this stage wouldn't really be warranted. What's more important, I think, is the droid activity while we're still... here. Of course, I can slip out, ghost through a few walls... but for every android I saw, I wouldn't be any better for it in the scheme of things."

Conner scooted away from Gabriel so she could stand up, then gestured at the worthless computer console. "I should build myself a wireless one."

Deca walked down the corridor in the station, another battle done with before he could even get there, as he passed the piles of corpses he clenched his teeth underneath his helmet. The innocent did not deserve to suffer. He walked by a couple of children, who were crying over their parents bodies. As he approached they shied away from him, he realized that they probally thought he was an android, so he removed his helmet and said "It's okay, you see, i'm not an android." they started to ease up and Deca took them to the nearest Speakeasy and went to find more survivors of the numerous tragdies that continued to plauge the station.

((*looked at the profile*

hey, Omg. My character was found in roughly the same manner as yours, I think. He could be a part of her race, if you want.))

Seeke stared disappointingly at Turst as he walked off. With a low sigh, he packed his belongings back up and started towards the place the Turst had mentioned- Obek, was it?

((I dunno, i mean he did have samurai armor from the feudal era when they found him))

Deca proceeded through the corridors wondering what he was, apparently he wasn't human, nor was he an android so that left him as totally confused. After failing to locate anymore survivors Deca decided to go back to the refuge he had built for himself in one of the swept through areas.

Kadreh had found the samurai's refuge a few minutes before he returned. The scavenger was already busy searching through what the man had left behind, a long slender tail wagging playfully behind him. Though, his ears perked at the sounds of nearing footsteps. Frantic, Kadreh jumped into a small pile of scrap metal and cardboard piled in one corner of the refuge.

Aries
The Girse are a physically perplexing species. His skin is an unnatural pitch black, and ears extend out behind his head a good 6 inches. This is contrasted by black eyes with a single red pupil, and pure white teeth and nails. Even for his species however, Kadreh is exceptionally slender. He wears a pair of loose brown cotton shorts held up by a strip of tan burlap looking fabric. The same material as his tunic. A long, slender black tail, long enough to wrap around his waist at least twice, usually sways behind him with fluid motions.

((... I can't stop thinking of Farfarello.))

Deca stepped into his refuge and noticed immedietly that there was someone else there he turned his visor on infrared and quckly located the intruder and pulled him out by his tail. "What are you doing here, didn't your family ever tell you not to go through other peoples things?" Deca asked hoping to intimidate the uninvited guest.

[^^ I just barely noticed that, .___. I've added some funky digitigrade legs though! That should make him a bit more different... maybe,]

"Aaah!" Kadreh squeaked as he was pulled. Quickly, he spun around and sat on his haunches, shaking his head rather abruptly, "No sir... they haven't... I-I thought you had left" he started to make a few attempts at yanking his tail away from the man.

"We'll head over to the bazaar sometime soon then, I'm sure you'll find the equipment you'll need there," Gabriel said with an honest tone, "But let's wait here for the child... He's got a good ten minutes before it's necessary to search for him,"

Col smirked casually to herself as she sat in her own private suite overlooking the main casino floor of the Obek. A one-way mirror let her gaze out over an entire crowded, unwitting floor. It was cramped, crowded, and smoky. Various lasers blasted the heads of the patrons as obnoxious booming eclectic music played.
