Again, Zyke's speed proved to be more than the Droid could compensate for as Zyke easily swayed around all the droids attacks. Zyke hands each came within an inch of the droids chest as he launched his volley of shots at the droid.

The Droid fell into pieces at the point-blank range of Zyke's volley. Zyke stood up and relaxed himself. He was confident that he had this ability mastered already. He was still tired and and over-excited from the fight earlier, so he decided that he should go to his room and try again to attempt to fall asleep and get some rest. He wanted to train for real when he woke, and he was going to need himself at 100% rested if he was to fulfill that goal.

Zyke woke up from his sleep, Stretching from the past weeks of training he had been doing, learning to release his Ki at an extreme rate. He stood up and went into the training room that he had considered his own, considering no one else ever used it, gravitating instead to the large training rooms. Zyke didn't mind, he was quite used to and happy training alone. He still didn't really know any of these people who had considered him their ally. Zyke centered himself in the room, once again steadying himself and focusing on bringing forth his resting Ki. He was determined to bring his unbalanced power to a steadier position. Zyke stood in a relaxed position, his eyes closed, his breathing shallow, his very pulse slow. He lifted his arms out in front of him, the bottom of his palms together, palms facing out, hands in a general Ki attack position. He focused pumping his Ki into an orb in his hand. A ball of blue/white Ki formed into his hand, the same as the kit shots he fires. But this wasn't what he was after, he was after the latent portion of his Ki. The portion of his Ki he had yet to learned how to access for the purpose of combat. Training for Quote: Technique Name: Raion no Hoko Description of Jutsu: A large blast of primal ki. The orb of Ki in his hand had flickered a chromatic hue for a moment before returning to it's original color. Zyke felt the power coming to him, felt the power he was looking for coming forth to him. But it was not going to come to him easily. So he focused even harder, getting a firm hold on the power inside of him, and using all his will to drag it to the forefront of his being. He was determined to get this Ki to show itself so he could use it to develop the technique he had seen himself do in his dreams and meditative visions. He was positive the the mastering of the technique would set him on a course of reaching the level of power that he had longed for. He was going to achieve his goal, and to hell if he would give up this determination for anything other than his own death. He might not even stop then... The Ki he had been charging was reacting to his rising emotions. His single-minded determination was showing through in the form of his Ki beginning to take the form that he was willing it to. The Ki turned into an odd chromatic color, dominantly reflecting the color of violet and frost-blue over the other colors, the other colors though still being visibly present. It remained in this state for a few moments, but eventually returning to it's original color. His rising excitement of the Ki taking the proper form and coming to his command had made him lose his hold on the Ki, the Ki again receding back to it's flow inside of him. Zyke was beginning to become perturbed by this Ki being so damn unattainable. He knew his emotions were driving this Ki he was seeking, but at the same time his emotions were holding him back from controlling it. Since his conscious emotion were what were keeping him from achieving his hold and control over this Ki he was after, he decided to let his mind go. He decided to let his emotions go. He let all his thought and emotion and will go. For all intents and purposes, he might as well have been asleep at this time, for his conscious mind was no longer active in this activity at all. Instead he let his subconscious take over. He let his instincts take over. He opened his eyes, and the only thing that could be seen in them was action, his only ability at this point, the ability to obtain what he was after. Zyke, while in this altered state of mind, turned his Ki into a fully chromatic color, just as before, and willed it to sustain itself in this state. He was going to master this. Zyke Had the ball of Ki fully under control at this point. He had successfully mastered the act of drawing power from the part of his Ki that he had never yet to this point used. The ball of Ki in his hand gave him an immense amount of joy, as while it might have been nothing more than a fancy changing the color of his Ki to anyone else, to him, it was step one in the venture of gaining the power he was after. He released the Ki, now satisfied with his ability to call it at will. He stood and centered himself again, this time on the path to giving the technique he was after the form that he needed it to be. This time though, as he centered himself, his mind seemed to be in a different state than normal. Like he was in full control of his body but at the same time not in control at all. It was an extremely strange sensation to him, but not uncomfortable. In fact, he seemed to be more comfortable in this state then at any other time that he could ever remember, other than a very few times when he had successfully went deep into meditation and saw his inner beings. With this new-found, and preferable, state of mind, he returned to his charging ki attack position, charging the Primal Ki into an orb in his hands. He focused on bringing more of the power forward. He needed it to be stronger and stronger and stronger. Strong enough to make even the mightiest of his foes quiver should they underestimate him. Stage 3: A+ rank: This the very definition of a perfect synergy between your states of mind, so much so that the difference is obvious to the naked eye. Your two conscious (Steven help me, can't figure out how to say that as a plural T-T) while completely one, are also in two parts. You have one state dominate over the other at all times while in this form. Your Feral self or you Balance self. The Primal self is brutish and wild, abandoning all reason to demolish their opponent as quickly and brutally as possible. Rarely uses Ki attacks. Your Balance Self is very passive, only attack after being shown undeniably that it's opponent is out to kill you our those who you consider your ally. Attacks using it's will and rarely uses it's physical abilities. (multiplies your effective Ki Mod and Ki Control for the purpose of Powering Up by 2.5 times, your connection to your primal self has made accessing your spirit (aka Ki) almost a mere matter of willing it. Increases your Dex and Wis for the purpose of Dodging and saves by 1.5 times, reacting to situation becoming a mere matter of doing with no need for mental making yourself react. In addition, Your states of mind cause your body to adapt to their needs. The changes are as follows.
Feral: +6 to Str Dex and Con for as long as you remain in this state. But you also don't bother to try to cushion blows that you receive, taking 1.5 as much damage from melee than normal.
Balance: +10 to your Wis and Ki and +4 to Dex while in this state. But, you lack the want to physically enter confrontation with another, halving your melee damage so long as you remain in this state.

roll 1 (left): 10 DC vs 1d20 + 145 roll 2 (right): 10 DC vs 1d20 + 145 Arin has slowly been driven into a training stupor; Over the time since Aki's death(s), Arin has grown increasingly punishing with her training regimen. This freshest self-inflicted punishment is no different.
Arin will stand in a doorway, the two halves of which have been outfitted with two razor sharp spikes. Arin will extend one finger in either direction, placing them directly on the points of the spikes. ALICE will begin to close the doors with increasing pressure, while Arin focuses her ki into her fingertips to repel the spikes and prevent damage to herself, vis-a-vis the door closing and the spikes impaling her. This training does not have an off switch. This training will progress until Arin breaks the door (unlikely) or ALICE runs Arin through (extremely likely).
Arin stood ready, in the door to a room in the training area, the phoenix tattoo/scar on her back standing black against the porcelain skin that covered her body. She had since the death of Aki had the scar inked by ALICE, turning the bizarre artifact into a permanent reminder of her incompetency, her loss of control, and the destruction they all almost wrought. A short countdown initiated the training, and Arin focused her ki into two infinitesimal points of searingly dark purple points directly at the ends of the spikes.
It was difficult to know whether Arin was attempting to join Aki or if she was simply fighting to become strong enough to never have to cut the wire that close again, but one way or another, if she kept pushing herself like this, one of the two would come to fruition.
It had been true, however, that Arin had been uncharacteristically calm and composed these last few weeks, going so far as to actually learn and even use the names of her crew, if only sparingly. She had worn the outfit that she had worn upon her ascension to Super Saiyan and several replicas of it that ALICE had produced since that day, seeming to take a liking to it immediately. The loss of Aki had not taken as immense an emotional toll on the saiyan as it might have seemed, although for those who knew Arin well, it would be noted that she did not show many emotions easily, and even when she did, she rarely showed the one that she was actually feeling. It is quite probable that her civility is merely a mask hiding the true depth of her pain, but the only evidence to support this theory is her self-destructive training regimen. She had one, two or even three trips to Recovery almost every single day, immediately stepping out of the tank to resume each time. She rose before the rest of the crew (if she slept at all) and was training still after many of them retired.
It seems that training was one of Arin's coping mechanisms, and it was getting results. She had since mastered the ki ball technique that had destroyed the army of saibamen, and her power level had risen to heights unimaginable, approaching one hundred thousand even as she slept.
However, in all her training, she had never reached the Super Saiyan transformation again. This was due to only one reason, however; she was afraid. The crew would not know that she was incapable of the transformation, although they might have their suspicions. Arin was terrified of the power that came with the transformation, but more so with the absolute disregard for anything but the victory that came with it. Arin didn't want to lose control like that again, because her mind had warped her memories into believing that it was because of the transformation that Aki had died. She did not realize that it was because Aki died that the transformation took place to begin with.
All of these things and so much more were constantly pouring through Arin's mind, even as she focused her ki to prevent herself from being run through by her own ship. The good news about this training is that while it left her drained of health, it required so little ki that she did not even feel the pull of it, leaving her free to practice more techniques afterward. She needed to train. She couldn't let herself stop. Not for anything. She believed with all her might that in order to gain her revenge, she would need to be stronger than anyone or anything they met. She needed to be prepared to destroy a dragon if the moment came that it would be necessary. Arin would not allow herself to be beaten again. Not after what her last defeat cost her. Zyke Charged a ball of chromatic colored ki, Primal ki, in his hands. He focused on building it at first like a ki shot, just a primary shape for which he could build upon. The base of the attack now in form, Zyke started to build upon it, pouring more of his Ki into it to make it grow in size. The ball started to grow very large, causing Zyke to hold it to his side, almost the size of a bowling ball. Zyke released the shot, sending a ball of ki launching across the room to strike the other wall, leaving a fair sized scorch mark, but not much else. The blast hadn't gotten much stronger than his ki shots. Zyke charged another ball and launched it forward, to no extra effect. Zyke couldn't understand why his attack wasn't getting any stronger. Zyke charged another blast, this time giving it even more ki, causing it to grow to the size of a beach ball. Zyke released the blast at the back wall, causing a larger scorch mark than the last two, but still no more physical damage than the smaller ones. Zyke grew angry at this, the primal side of his mind growing upset much faster than his rational self. He used his conscious side to soothe his growing frustration, and looked at the problem in another fashion. He could see that this was obviously not working this way, so just putting more ki into the shot and making it bigger doesn't make it stronger, he decided. Zyke placed his hands together again, charging ki in between his palms and focusing on bringing forth the Primal Ki to form the energy he wanted for the attack. He poured more ki into the ball like the last time, but this time, he used his will to force the ball to remain in a smaller form. He planned on packing as much ki into this little space as he could, condensing the energy. He moved his hands to above his head, the unstable ki in his hands losing it's shape and taking on a more chaotic appearance, bolts of energy sparking down his arm from the ki. The instinctual part of him told him how to move and when at this point. His conscious had set him on the right path to the completing the technique, and now his primal side was going to see it through. His right foot slid back, his left foot leading, and he put all his weight on his back foot. He swung forward, lifting into the air with the force of the movement. The blast was hurled like a soccer ball being thrown back into play from out of bounds. The blast raged it's way through the air, seeming to cut straight through the very air itself. It flew it's course, flying toward a collision course with the wall, before multiple target dummies raised out of the floor in the path of the attack. The blast ate it's way through many of the first ones, but eventually being mitigated by the wall of synthetic bodies. Zyke only looked up puzzled, responded to by Alice stating, "That last attack would have done significant damage to my hull in this room. I'm sorry, but I cannot allow such damage on a mere training session. My deepest apologies." Zyke looks back down towards the demolished training dummies and smiled, "That's fine, it doesn't matter what my practice target is, so long as it's a worthy challenge for my purposes. Stage 3: A+ rank: This the very definition of a perfect synergy between your states of mind, so much so that the difference is obvious to the naked eye. Your two consciousnesses while completely one, are also in two parts. You have one state dominate over the other at all times while in this form. Your Feral self or you Balance self. The Primal self is brutish and wild, abandoning all reason to demolish their opponent as quickly and brutally as possible. Rarely uses Ki attacks. Your Balance Self is very passive, only attack after being shown undeniably that it's opponent is out to kill you our those who you consider your ally. Attacks using it's will and rarely uses it's physical abilities. (multiplies your effective Ki Mod and Ki Control for the purpose of Powering Up by 2.5 times, your connection to your primal self has made accessing your spirit (aka Ki) almost a mere matter of willing it. Increases your Dex and Wis for the purpose of Dodging and saves by 1.5 times, reacting to situation becoming a mere matter of doing with no need for mentally making yourself react. In addition, Your states of mind cause your body to adapt to their needs. The changes are as follows.
Feral: +6 to Str Dex and Con for as long as you remain in this state. But you also don't bother to try to cushion blows that you receive, taking 1.5 as much damage from melee than normal.
Balance: +10 to your Wis and Ki and +4 to Dex while in this state. But, you lack the want to physically enter confrontation with another, halving your melee damage so long as you remain in this state.
Switching states takes one Combat Turn. Zyke grew tired of the small room he'd holed himself in for the past few weeks of training. The same enclosed space had made him start to feel kinda claustrophobic, so he decided he had a fun way of finishing his training in a nice, new, wide open setting. Zyke walked to the landing bay, went over to a supply closet to the side, and picked out a black, skin-tight spacesuit with matching helmet. Alice closed the doors and airlocks to the rest of the ship as Zyke opened the landing bay doors, the pressure sucking him out into space. Floating for a few seconds, He used his ki to stabilize himself and stop his momentum. Zyke flew around outside for a while, getting a feel for the freedom and open "air" feeling of not being inside the ship anymore. Zyke calmed himself and made himself serious. This training needed to get complete, and he was determined that it would be complete within this same day. He place his hands close to his chest, and charged Raion no Hoko, the same chromatic, lightning like ki in his hands. He charged up the attack and launched the blast at a nearby comet going by the planet. The beam roared through the empty space to hit the comet so far away, shattering it into thousands of pieces. Zyke charged another immediately after the first, firing it in a large cone, the blast, the beam firing into the pieces of comet, disintegrating them immediately. Zyke relaxed, contemplating on what to practice on next. ((Have to go to work xP, Finish this later)) Training For Quote: Technique Name: Raion no Hoko (Lion's Roar) Description of Jutsu: A large blast of primal ki. The ki forms in such a chaotic manner, that it's near impossible to deflect or dissuade the blast. The drawback of it being it's large ki cost and the time it takes to charge the attack. Rank: B Cp Cost: 200 ( 50 more each post if you sustain it as a beam) Damage: 50-150 ( + another 50 per turn if sustained.) Requirements: 60 Ki Techniques, Primal Ki Affinity Training: 3 days Special: Takes up an entire Round to charge the attack. The damage increases by 10-10 for every 25 extra Ki you pump into the original charge (It also increases the sustenance cost too by however much you pump into it.) Zyke: Hp: 407/457 rKp: 350/400 mKp: 792/792 Zyke flew to land on top of the ship. He stood on top and began to charge his ki rapidly. The ki aura flared up so rapidly that his aura flared higher than it actually was, spanning a great distance in all directions. Once the aura was of a great enough size, Zyke began suppressing it back to it's resting rate. The sudden and greatly flashy flare of releasing all his ki at once was a move he had developed from watching Arin on Nexum. His skin split from the ki flowing through and out of him so swiftly, looking almost like white runes all along his body for the short period that it was active. Once all his ki was out, he began to focus on suppressing it at a rapid rate. He successfully contained all the ki back into himself just shortly after releasing it all. But he wasn't doing this to be flashy or to flex his power, he had a more specific goal in mind for this. The sudden release and withdraw of his ki had created a vacuum effect centered on himself, pulling nearby asteroids towards him on the top of the ship. There were many small asteroids coming at him, but they weren't even big enough to threaten Alice's shields. On the other hand, three large comets had been pulled off of their gravitational course and pulled toward Zyke's pull of ki. While the pull may have not been to great, in an environment where there is nothing to resist momentum, the comets were most definitely coming this way without any sign of stopping. Zyke saw the three potential threats of asteroids and decided they were to be his targets for practice. He began to charge up a Raion and took aim at the nearest rock on it's way towards the ship. Asteroid's Hp: 200 each, no DB (they're inanimate, not gonna move out of the way...) Distance to ship: Asteroid 1 - 3 rounds Asteroid 2 - 6 rounds Asteroid 3 - 10 rounds Each Asteroid deals 2000 - 5000 damage upon impact to Zyke and Alice both. Zyke fires his first blast at the first Asteroid, the blast roaring it's way through the vacuum of space to it's target. Knowing that the original blast of the attack would not be enough to destroy the rock, Zyke sustained the attack to ensure that is would be destroyed.

"Exigent circumstances. Training aborted. Entering an asteroid field. The shields are incapable of preventing damage. A collision is imminent. Destruction of the ship; one hundred percent certain.

Zyke has already left the ship, readying a defense.
Well, at least there's some good news.
Arin sighed as the doors opened, and she lowered her fingers, spurning a space suit in lieu of a small, mouth-contained breathing apparatus. " ALICE! I'd like some air out there!"
"Venting atmosphere into active parts of the shield. Good luck, Queen Arin." Alerting the rest of the crew wasn't necessary. Zyke and Arin were more than a match for the debris.
Arin was sucked out of the airlock, not giving it time to stabilize pressure. As a result, she was traveling faster than half the speed of light, which was Alice's current speed, resulting in her gradually seeming to rise from the earth of the ship, before she brought her feet down on the metal, watching Zyke. She decided that she would interfere only if he was failing. Besides, he needed to be able to fix his own problems. She breathed slowly. ALICE had done her job. There was air. ALICE's shields must be keeping it from dispersing. Arin tucked the breathing apparatus into her shirt, cracking her neck in each direction and crossing her arms.

The initial blast strikes it's target dead on, colliding square in the middle of the Asteroid, dealing considerate structural damage. Zyke continued to fire at the asteroid, intending to destroy it.
