((Ahem. A northern Husky is available for anyone who wants to play it, partnered to Breadfishes' human, until and unless she decides to go ahead and make the character for it.
Hayato, two of your pictures are no longer valid.))

zfatal "Er... yeah, ditto," Shef replied. Things were WAAAY too formal for him.
"Regond. I want to rescue my father," Shef said. ((I have control! blaugh )) The owl Regond settled down on Shef's arm, which really wasn't very comfortable for said human. Regond then shook himself, dislodging loose feathers and debris, before his feathery coat settled into a smooth, oiled pelt.
"Er..." said the owl, and if it were possible, the grandfather-ly creature showed an expression of being unsure, disconcerted. "That's not truly possible," the owl Guardian finally replied. "It simply--what I mean to say is, boy, you simply aren't nearly experienced and powerful enough to possess a chance of defeating Malis and his Guardian."
Shef stared at his 'Guardian' for a few moments, face blank, before he rolled his eyes and turned to walk away.
"That's just great. Freaking great!" Shef exclaimed, followed by a sigh.
"N-now hold a minute, Shef!" Regond stammered, flapping his wings urgently to keep up, as Shef had shaken him off of his previous perch. "Are you just going to ignore me, then!? Shef!"
And so Shef walked away, with an agitated owl following behind, leaving the other three or so Guarded to do whatever they pleased.((Now to spend another ten minutes perfecting a battle post for Calentine....))

((I am ignoring my previous post featuring Calentine, in which I thought mistakenly that it was still a giant turtle charging forward. I have since seen the Ether Form of Yemits and am now going to correct that mistake.))
The great beast of a turtle-Guardian smashed its way through the forest, leaving all plant life unharmed and untouched, as it rampaged... for some reason?
Calentine did not need a reason; there was simply a giant creature, no different from any other feral monster that inhabited Ether, charging directly towards him. Calentine had no way to know that this creature was a protector, not a killer, and as such would attempt to slay it the same way he would any other Ethereal creature.
A flash blared past Yemits, startling it, and a blade was sliced across the armored/masked face of the Guardian too quickly to discern. Calentine was already settled on the branch of a large tree behind the creature, Yemits, sword in hand as he expected the thing to die immediately.
Yemits, however, whirled around in a fury, armor unscratched, and two massive fist enclosed around Calentine and crushed him to death.
Or so Yemits thought. But Calentine, being able to see every living creature for miles in every direction, had known Yemits' movement before one could blink. And his reflexes were ever so sharp. Calentine was now behind Yemits once again, sailing downward with a beautifully-performed sword stroke meant to cleave Yemits' neck in two.
What Calentine had not expected was for Yemits to immediately, once he realized that his prey had eluded him, spin in place, arms outstretched, creating a massive and extremely dangerous vortex of gigantic, clawed fist.
Calentine, being in mid air, could only place his sword in between himself and the oncoming fist that he knew was about to collide with him. Calentine was sent flying, and landed with his feet against the vertical tree. Calentine then dropped--purposefully.
Yemits continued to spin, seemingly unaware that he had already hit Calentine, and soon a whirlwind of leaves was picked up.
Calentine shifted his blade, with one hand, into a javelin-position. And then he threw the sword--which became caught between two separate plates of armor. Calentine had no way to know if he had even harmed this massive, armored beast.

 My head hurts like a ******** b***h.
All these people make me sick.
Life just makes me wanna itch.
People always makin' me twitch. DISAPPEAR?
"You would love it if I just DISAPPEARED." Falian rolled her eyes and dashed after Shef, skidding to a stop in front of him and getting right up into his face, stopping him in his tracks.
"What do you think you're doing?!" She demanded as Reign and the other two made their way forward. "You're just going to abandon your father?! What the hell do you think you're doing?"
Reign pursed her lips slightly.
"Now Falian-"
"NO!" Falian nearly shouted before turning back to Shef. "Where are you going? If you think you can just ignore all of this, then you're a sure-fire coward!" Well <********> you too.
I don't need this SHIIT.
I'm STAYING here for a thousand years,
And you can just ROT in your pathetic pits.
NEVER.
"Would you miss me if I vanished? Well, too bad."
"I will never be a memory."
