Midnight couldn't fight the urge to kiss him. She jumped in his arms and kissed him again.

Midnight continued to kiss him her fingers threading through his hair. she pulled back and looked into his eyes smiling.

Mark smiled back at her looking at her beautiful smile. "That was nice." He said to her.

Midnight yawned and pulled Mark over to the blanket she kissed him one more time and rested her head on the pillow. She quickly dozed off.

Mark laid down next to her and wrapped his arms around her. "I'll keep you safe." He said to her smiling.

Midnight felt cold so she snuggled closer to Mark she opened her eyes and noticed that the sun was up. She got up and stretched. she walked outside. She smelt the crisp morning air and the scent of bears, rabbits and........Xera? she jumped into the tree and noticed that he was sleeping so she decided to hunt. a bear appeared she crouched and stuck out her fangs. She jumped on the bear and snapped it's neck. She carried the body back to the house and up the stairs. She drank some blood making sure there was enough for Mark and put it on the ground. There was a cracked mirror on the wall that she had used in the past. Her hair was all messed up and full of dirt. Damn I need a shower. Midnight thought as she grabbed her bag and walked out of the cemetery. There was a lake a little bit in to the forest. She put her bag on the ground along with her clothes and shoes. She jumped in the cool water chilling her. She washed the dirt out of her hair. she closed her eyes and relaxed.

Mark opened his eyes and noticed Midnight was gone. He noticed the dead bear and smiled. "Isn't that nice of her." He said and started to drink some of its blood. He wiped his chin and went out to look for her but staying in the shadows.

Mark appeared in a tree and noticed her in the lake. "She is taking a bath." He thought to himself. "Better let her be alone till she is done." He thought again and disappeared.

Midnight got out and put her clothes drying off her hair with a towel she had in her bag. and started to walk back to the cemetery.

walked inside and noticed Mark and smiled she walked over to the mirror and started brushing her jet black hair.
