 Suki winced when the demon pierced it's nails into her legs. She couldn't hold her breath any longer as her mouth opened and her lungs started to fill with water. Her eyes started closing and she stopped moving. At this rate she was going to drown.

Travis hurried after the demon. He would just use a concussion grenade on it... but though his armor could handle the heightened impact the water would add, Hanabi and Suki would probably die with the demon if they were still in the water.

The demon quickly kept swimming away from Travis as it continued to hold down Suki under water. It changed its hold from holding her legs to holding her behind her back.
Hanabi kept swimming, then spotted the demon coming towards her. She did her best to not move until it was close enough. When it was, she slashed at its side.
The demon cried and let go of Suki, then attacked Hanabi.

Suki felt the demon let go of her as she tried to swim back towards the surface best she could. She started to weave in and out of consciousness as her lungs were being filled with water.

Travis' armor took the hit as he pushed Hanabi out of the way. He motioned for her and Suki to get out quickly as he pulled out a sphere.

Hanabi saw this and nodded. She quickly swam away and to Suki. Then she grabbed a hold of her and brought her up to the surface.
The demon backed away a bit, then slashed at Travis's neck.

Travis blocked the slash with his arm. He armed the concussion grenade and shoved it into the demon's face.

Suki started coughing once she reached the surface as she gasped for air.

Hanabi was glad to see that Suki was still alive. She pulled her along towards the nearest exit.
(( So... does the grenade go boom? And can you tell us exactly what happens and such. ))

"T-Thank you..." Suki said once she stopped coughing. She started feeling more awake now that she got some air. Now her legs started hurting as they kept bleeding.

(Concussion Grenades use very strong sound waves to cause mainly internal damage... underwater, the effect is multiplied almost exponentially)
The water jumped slightly once the concussion grenade went off.

(( Ah, okay ))
The demon cried as it's insides and organs burst from the sound waves of the grenade.
"No problem," Hanabi said, then she felt the water jump up a bit and heard the demon's cry. She looked back at where the demon was for a moment, wondering what had happened. Then she continued making her way over to the staircase.

Travis' armor was the only thing that saved his life, though he was still a bit disoriented. He tried, unsuccessfully, to find his way back to the submerged staircase, not noticing the icon in the corner of his HUD that said his filters were close to overloading.

Suki heard the demon cry too. By now she felt well enough to make it towards the stairs.

Hanabi kept swimming until she found the submerged staircase. She was about to dive and go in, but she wasn't sure if Travis was alright. "Go on ahead, I'll catch up," she said to Suki. Then she dived into the water and headed back to Travis.
The demon didn't move, it went limp.
