Jen read the paper and sat back on an over stuffed couch, sipping her extra sweet coffee. bright grey-blue eyes skimmed teh newsprint, not really reading just looking. A small sweet smile was placed on her thin lips and she seemed relaxed for her first day back.
Jen had been in Romania that summer, and had a slight tan from all her time spent outside, her feet, now concealed by dark shoes were rough and calloused, she tended to go barefoot after she explored the area. and she had taught s group of thirteen children young children to read basic German while she was there. As always tried to do some teaching on her trips.

James sneaked down to his first class, but bumped into Gabi as he went. He flushed, "Gabs!" he smiled, "Hey!"

The other girls with Gabi quickly excused themselves and ran off to the first class. "Good morning James!" Gabi said with a smile. "Talk to Tom last night?" She asked moving around him so they could get to class on time and still talk.

"Kinda-" he blushed, remembering the night before. "It kinda- ended... er..." he covered his face with his hand.

Gabi smiled at his blushing, "Still not comfortable with her after the kiss?" She asked putting her hand on his arm. "Don't worry I'm sure Tom won't hold anything against you. She'll do a trick, laugh at you, then be over it."

"Oh?" Gabi said as that now old familiar pang of jealousy ran through her. Sounding as happy as she could she said, "What was the bet." Giving his arm a little squeeze.

"Who was cooler in the eyes of Gryffindor," he replied. "Whoever wins has the other as a slave for a year..." he ran his hand through his hair. "will you help me? I mean- get out of this predicament with Tom?"

Tom wiped her mouth on her napkin, and got up from the table, she had to hurry or else be late for her first class of her first day. Her bright pink hair bounded as she sprinted down the crowded hallways. She slipped a hand into her pocket making sure she had what she would need. Her finger tips brushed over the object's smooth surface and a smirk spread across her face. She unknowingly passed James and Gabi in the hall and ran up the staircase, just as it began to move, almost falling off. "Ah!" She yelped and laughed loudly, a group of first years gasped their face's already pale. "I'm good!" She gave them a thumbs up and continued on.

Gabi started to laugh about the bet, but when Tom fell on the stairs it took all of her strength not to run up and see if she was okay. "What do you mean help you?" she asked tilting her head up to him. Looking off in the direction of her classroom then his she smiled knowing the conversation would be cut short soon.
Donovan walked slightly through the halls. Looking from side to side, he noticed a Griffindor girl fall. He chuckled and was going to help her up but she was already up and going on to class. He followed a little behind having the same class as she. "You really okay?" he asked in a low tone voice. Before passing her and moving to his spot in the class room.
((Are we going in order of the list or in order of our choosing?))

"I d'know, help me figure out what to say to her?" he suggested. "We could skip first period and go to the infirmary," he suggested.

Gabie giggled a bit, "You want to skip the first day of classes?" She looked around and said more quietly, "Wouldn't eve you get in trouble for that."
