Mika bit her bottom lip nervously and jumped up off the ground, catching a branch of a tree and pulling herself up easily to sit on it. She faced towards the cemetery but stared up at the sky, swinging her legs back and forth under her.

Joey walked into the cemetary with his hands in his pockets. He walked slowly with an air of laziness and despair in his step, and he carefully blew his black bangs out of his eyes. He glanced at certain tombstones as he passed;though he never said a word.
Joey was an odd boy; considered Emo by many and a loner by all. He chuckled as he remembered the voice of an old friend say, "Hey JoJo! I missed you!" A faint trace of blush danced across his pale cheeks as he remembered her beautiful face. She was the only one close enough to call him "JoJo". No one else ever dared to get that close to him.
However, walk he did, down the pathways of the cemetary, through trails upon trails, passing many tombstones with several different names upon them. How he longed to speak; but to whom? He had not spoken to anyone in weeks; months, even when people were present.

Mika was staring at the sky spacing out in her own little world but she never actually saw the sky. Her mind wandered but it never stayed on one particular thought and that all vanished when a weird feeling crept up her spine. She turned to see a boy sitting in a tree not far from her and he was looking at her.

Joey paused in his thoughts and stopped, looking up. He saw two people in separate trees, just staring at each other. Okay... He thought. Everyone to their own fancy, I suppose...

Mika made a glaring face getting that feeling again but it was from someone else. She glanced down to see an emo-ish boy looking up at her and the other boy then she looked back at the boy in the tree. Letting out a small sigh, she looked back up at the sky but her mind wouldn't wonder like it did before.

As soon as the girl looked down at him, Joey looked back at the Pathway of Death and continued walking with his hands in his pockets.

Mika looked back at the emo-ish boy as he started walking away and tilted her head, thinking. Maybe she could make friends in this town this time. She shrugged and slid off the branch then ran to catch up with the boy. How bad could it be? The worst thing that could happen was him telling her to scram. "Hi." She said nervously.

Joey looked sideways at the girl who ran up next to him. His liquid chocolate eyes looked over her curiously, but all he did was wave. He was not one for words. His eyes, however, said "Hello."

Apparently he doesn't like talking, Mika thought to herself. She looked up at him and her heart almost melted. She staggered but caught her balance quickly and smiled sweetly at him, hoping he didn't notice. Woah! He's a cutie! She didn't get to have a good look at his face from up in the tree and it had caught her off guard at how beautiful he was. "Don't like talking?" She asked a little curious of this boy.

Joey gave her a half smile to indicate how right she was. Did she just nearly jump backward because of him? Was it something he did? Something he did not say?

Mika spun halfway so that she was now walking backwards with her hands behind her. She looked down at her feet for a moment then back up at him. No one can be that beautiful, she thought. "uhm, are you a Vampire or something?" She asked without thinking and regretted it as soon as the words escaped her lips, "Sorry. I shouldn't be asking questions like that."

Joey smiled and mocked laughter through silent body movements. He playfully rolled his eyes at her and muttered, "Half..." but that may be the only word she would ever hear him say.
His voice was perfect; the perfect combination of a normal and deep voice, plus it was smooth and did not jump around, unlike many voices.

Mika blinked a couple times when he spoke. His voice was beautiful and it made her feel a little insecure about herself. She liked boys, she knew that, but she never met a boy like this. She bit her bottom lip nervously and smiled back at him, "That's cool. I'm a wolf."
