Arjana could feel the earth's energy transporting her to where a large amount of demonic aura was; adrenaline pumping at an alarming rate throughout her body as she neared the ethereal pulse of her kindred.
Her eyes were shut tight, feeling the pressure becoming intense with every passing second, as she traveled further underground into the unknown depths of the city. She grit her teeth, hoping there was an end to this methodic madness.
All too suddenly, the applied force was released in a comfortable amount of...
...Air? Mid-Air?, what followed this thought was an unbearable screech that resounded throughout the enclosed quarters of the Tainted. Arjana fell right in the middle of a dark room with rows and rows of aged alcohols of various flavors and crashed onto the bar counter without so much as a shred of dignity left.
Why me?

Arjana was hypervenilating, overwhelmed by the scent and aura of the various demons that were inside this establishment. Shaking her head she slid off the counter as quickly as she could, realizing that she hadn't flared her own essence to that of her brethren...Which meant that many of her kind would think of her as potential prey or a possible intruder in their domain.
This is not good!, she thought as she accidently bumped into a few patrons and dashed out of the double doors, hoping to get some sort of feel as to where she should go. As she ran, she flared her presence to match that of her demonic side.

Azriel paced just in front of the building, tense with anticipation, his nerves feeling like exposed electrical conduits. "What am I doing here?" "I'm not even totally sure what this place is," Azriel mumbled to himself.
Thinking to himself, Azriel finally finds his backbone, resting somewhere near his feet, and heads for the doors. As he emerges from the shadows, Azriel does an instinctive scan of the area, taking in his surroundings in a clean sweep.
*Bang Bang Bang*
As Azriel smashes his fist into the doors, he ponders what answers will come to him in this place. The process of awakening is confusing, and there is so much of a mess in my head, I'm not even sure who I am...
Azriel waits, as patiently as someone in his position could be expected to, by the door for someone to usher him into his new life.

((I'm new to roleplaying so... I apologize if I make any mistakes!))
Evas approached and waited outside the Hordes clutching a worn suitcase and a slip of paper. She stole a nervous glance at the paper, the building, and the paper again. Evas then studied the man beside her who was banging his white-knuckled fists into the door. A voice told her his name was Azriel. She whispered, "Are you here for--?"
Evas's words were interrupted when the door flung wide open and nearly swept her off her feet. She peered inside and turned to Azriel, her pale lips trembling, "No one's inside."

"Whoa!!" Azriel suddenly appears a few feet back as the door swings suddenly open, and takes in the woman, standing suddenly surprised in front of the open doors. As the world stands perfectly still, Azriel takes a moment to look over her, and readies a few questions in his mind.
The world suddenly bursts into motion again, and Azriel looks at the woman questioningly. "Interesting doorman they got there..." "By the way, the name's Azriel, do you know the people who stay here?"
Azriel glances around suspiciosly, as is his nature, and then looks back at the woman putting his most charming smile on. With his obvious anxiety, however, his smile never seems to reflect in his eyes...all you see is a sorrowful exhaustion lingering inside him, as if it haunts him.

"Nice to meet you, Azriel. My name is Evas."
Evas stood and stared deep into Azriel's eyes, as if she were trying to extract his very being through them. Evas sighed and shifted her gaze to the ground. A faint voice that was not quite human-- more of a spherical musical sensation-- resonated within Azriel's life frame.
Flinching, Evas then looked back up into Azriel's eyes, "Uh... Sorry," she stuttered, "Someone told me about this place. I don't know much about the people here, but I have a feeling this will be a safe haven, if you know what I mean," Evas's eyes harbored a pained, vacant stare as she reopened the door for Azriel.
"Would you like to come inside with me? I guess this will be both our first time coming here," Evas spoke, the callous dimness was gone from her eyes; she was now smiling warmly.

As the voice resonates in Azriel's head, he tenses up, surprised...as can be expected. "I...I would love to accompany you." "I have been trying to find answers for some time, and it seems you are one that can help me find them."
As the last echo in Azriel's head fades, he suddenly falls to the ground, clutching his head in near pain. As the sensation that overwhelmed him fades, Azriel finally understands what he is, as if a flood gate has been opened.
"You...just being here, with my own kind, has answered more questions than I ever expected." Azriel stands and warmly walks over to Evas extending the crook of his arm to accompany her inside.
"I figured since you opened the door for me, the least I could do is escort you in." "I may not be a proper gentleman, but at least I can try."
After many months...the smile finally floods into his eyes, and a glimmer of hope shines out, like a star burning within the young tainted.

"Uh, thank you," blushed Evas as she took Azriel's arm and began descending the stairs into the Hordes. Questions were flushing through her mind so fast. Who was Azriel? What had just happened? Why do strange things always happen around me? Why me? Will this place be the place I've been looking for? I guess it's all a matter of faith and time...
When the two reached the bottom of the stairwell, there was one final door leading to the Hordes. Evas turned to Azriel, "Well this is it..."

"One more step and I'll have the answers I came for." "Thankfully, at least I'm not going in blind now." "When I met you outside...it sort of jarred something lose in my head."
"Well, anyways," and Azriel steps through the threshold.
Once inside, he takes in his surroundings, and revels in the presence of his new bretheren. Whether they were immediately present or not, the entire building seemed to hum with the echoe of them...the; and suddenly a word popped into Azriel's head.
"We are...tainted?" "Bah, the word does not matter, we are who we are."
Azriel shakes his head vigorously, in an attempt to clear it, and looks at Evas. "Shall we continue?" "I do believe they are waiting for us."

"Tainted... " The word could have meant a thousand things but it could mean only one thing to Evas. "We are... home?" Evas opened the door to the Hordes and stepped inside with Azriel. The place was glowing. Evas looked around in desparation as the Main Room began to confuse itself with people's thoughts. And just as suddenly as the sensation hit her, it was over. "Woah. This place is amazing! Thanks for walking down with me. I was so nervous but now I have no doubts about this place or the Tainted. I hope you feel the same way and that your questions will be answered," Evas turned to Azriel and then took out the slip of paper. "It says my apartment's number six. I guess I should go and check it out but you're welcome any time to visit. I have a feeling there will be some crazy stuff in store for us in the future. It was nice meeting you, and we should keep in touch." Evas glanced at the paper, waved and smiled at Azriel, and headed off towards the Tainted Hall. ((Exit towards Tainted Hall))

((enters from main hallway)) Upon entering the room full of demons that at one time had been completely empty when she had come through earlier, Mitsuki experienced extreme claustiophobia. Pushing her way through the crowd, Mitsuki quickly found a semi-secluded spot, where she could watch the others and think of ways to approach people. This whole place was weird to her. For the last year or so, she had been living amongst mortals, and she could not remember anything before that. Needless to say, the whole living with people like herself was a little daunting.

Shaking her head, Mitsuki could not find anyone with whom she'd like to converse with. The long journey to this place had finally taken it's toll and she was beginning to fall asleep just standing here. Making her decision to come back later, Mitsuki left the main room. ((exits to main hallway))

Lor made his way to the an empty table near the bar. After stretching his legs a bit with the short walk down here, he was reluctant to seat himself again. Memeory upon memory bubbled to the surface of his mind. It was all coming back...
He had to find the others and 'get back in the groove' as it were.
But a short rest wouldn't hurt anyone.

Jogging in Raven desided she missed Shadow. Sitting down at the bar she ordered Vodka one of Shadows favorite drinks. Since no one could really take Shadows place Raven would only take up some of the habits of Shadow like drinking.
