Cassie shook her head slowly. "No, but- what do you mean? i remember every relationship i've had and i've never seen you, unless it was in another life or something." she said slowly.

Cassie's eyebrow went up. "Well, say i was who you said i was, you said she killed herself, and if i'm her then how come i'm not dead?"

"My friend Ethan can go back to certain points in time and alter them without anyone but me or him realizing." Kai frowned and said "You jumped off a building. and Ethan had to open a time hole so i could pull you through. And when you are pulled through a time hole you are left out of time. In other words if you were 16 and you were pulled through you would be eternally 16." Kai looked down and said "It's a complicated process."

Cassie felt the room spinning. even though his story was ridiculous she believed him for some reason. "So, i'm not going to age?" she asked, trying to think of a subject changer.

Kai looked Cassie in the eye and said "Correct, you will not age at all. Thus you are immortal...........when it comes to time."

"Time cannot take your life. But you can still be killed by someone or something. And the sad part about you getting killed is that since you have been pulled through you will live your life over again up until you get killed again and then it starts back at you getting pulled through the time hole and you live until you get killed again. It's an endless loop." he said. "Unless i can do something in the past to prevent you from falling off that roof." he said quietly.

Cassie's mind drifted to her little expedition of cliff diving. she started laughing nervously. *every time, i'll forget?* she looked at Kai. she searched his face to try and remember him but she couldn't. "What happened?" she asked him.
