Pen was waiting for him, and after having rummaged through the Dialance's first aid kit, she tossed Eric a few yellow pills. "Take those. Immunity boosters won't help much, but they will make a difference. When you are on the ship, wear a breathing mask, at all times. The virus is most likely to hit you airborne. Otherwise, wash your hands, keep your distance, and for god's sake no matter what, don't kiss me." She gave him a wink, "That would be both fatal from the virus, and a jealous wife."

Pen rolled her eyes, "Enough with you and the threesomes. Start flying, Eric." Pen gave his chair a gentle kick. "and take those pills. I'm not taking Hattie's husband away from her if I can help it."

Keeps my mind off of impending death by something that I have no control over. I usually let Hattie find our third bedmate."

Pen frowned slightly, "I don't know if that's something Jarred wanted, but it is something I'd probably never be able to give him." She let out a small sigh, "though not a thing to stress over, I suppose. How long until we reach the Kore? Do you know?"

"Well, looks like it'll be a good long time. Long-range scanners are picking up a huge cluster of Hunters between here and there, in a massive sphere around the ship. Looks like they're deployed as a buffer between them and the rest of the universe."
