"Well, Jerr-eeee," Amber began as she looked along with him, shrugging her shoulders slightly as well. "You should know more than anyone that I don't like hospitals...never did, never will..."

"but, weren't you just like in a comatose?" Jerry asked confused.
Kaori sighed and shyly walked up to the 2 of them and tapped Amber's shoulder. She remembered her, at school she was always hanging out with Jerry and all the other people.
"ummm, i think what Jerry meant was that we woke up from our coma in the hospital, and wants to know why you woke up in the power plant." She said.

"Well uh--" Amber began right before she felt Kaori tap her on her shoulder and rephrase his question so she could understand it more. "I don't...know exactly, I guess when they were searching the place...they forgot me..." She said before remembering something. "Well it's no surprise! The idiots forgot to look in the girls' bathroom! That's where I was hiding as it all...happened..."

"Heh, well..this might sound stupid, but boy-genius and I here were playing hide-n-go-seek with a few of our other friends, and I hid there cause I knew that no one would ever be able to find me there...especially since they were only guys playing besides me..." Amber said as she laughed slightly, nudging Jerry with her elbow slightly as well. "Remember that Jer'?"

Jerry stepped to the side a bit, her nudge was a little too hard on his ribcage, and he rubbed it. He thought about that day and his eyes widened.
"oh yea! you were like the last one to be found, i remember." He said sheepishly.
"so then you cheated." he quickly added
"i see..." Kaori replied.

"Welll...no one ever said anything about hiding in bathrooms!We just couldn't hide in offices and around the nuclear stuff...but no one EVER said anything about the bathrooms, I remember!" Amber shot back quickly, quirking a brow as she smirked peevishly right back at him. "And besides, you'd always let me win...purposely finding me last, I know that you had a soft spot for me Jer'!" She then giggled softly as she smiled up at him sweetly, she couldn't help but wink playfully at him as well.

Jerry made a face at her.
"always letting you win? since when??" he asked her, poking her shoulder.
he grinned at her and got off the wall he was leaning from. he walked over to Kaji and started counting the people. he counted to 9.
"so there's 9 of us awake right?" Jerry asked him.
Kaori sighed.
"when are we going to actually go to the Plant? i am interested in the findinds there." she stated.

Amber couldn't help but smile at him when he poked her. He was her best friend for years after all, him being friends with all her brothers as well, but now that they were older, she started to like this new Jerry...and more than a friend as well. This new feeling of attraction confused her greatly, but since she was such a quick thinker, she decided to ponder over it later and think of the new task at hand. "Well...me coming from there...there's nothing really left...just a bunch of cobwebs, a file cabinet or two, and a bunch of dust really..."

Jerry shrugged. He's just been kinda following people around, he didn't really put much thought into what they were going to do, just something to get out of the hospital.
"oh, well, i thought there would be something cool in the locked rooms and all." he said aloud.
Kaori walked over to the exit door and peeped through. Amber was right, it was a mess in there. Lots of broken machines, blown up pieces and remains from the explosion.
"well, i'm sure if we look around inside, we can find a locked up room." she said looking around

"Mmm...probably...but I didn't dare to check when I first woke up, I was too busy trying to get out of that creeptastic place..." Amber spoke softly as she peeked around with Kaori back into the trashed plant, taking in a sharp breath. She was slightly scared to go back in there, herself being as terrified of the dark as she always was. She then turned to Jerry and stared up into his eyes with a very innocent and sweet look that she would give to him when they were children. "Jerryy...would you please...protect me from the bad things in there...?" She asked as she pouted in an innocent, child-like manner, reaching out for his hand as she sniffed slightly, looking almost at the verge of tears.

Jerry gave her a questioning look, she had never done that before. Slowly he took her hand and smiled.
"sure, why not? I mean, wouldn't want you to get lost again huh?" he said to her.
He looked through the door and thought about Amber. even in the worst circumstances, she never did that before. She must've gotten pretty scared when the explosion happened.
what's wrong with her? he thought to himself, maybe just scared from the blow.
