The bard eventually reached Rhys and Amelia.
"... I'm going to go check it out." Before any protests could be made, he set off towards the castle.

Ed let out a lupine laugh. But she was cut short at the sound of Madriana's cry. Her ears folded as tension nestled in her bosom, and the wolf knelt down, whining quietly. She took a few licks of her fruit punch while she was at it.

Amelia put her hands onto Rhys' shoulders and shook him a little. "Calm down, please! I don't understand what you're saying!" she told him, her voice trembling. "What do you mean, we're in trouble? Why would Madriana scream like that?"

Roy nodded before he took Alcyone by the hand again and they ran towards the castle.
Within minutes, they found Madriana and several other morphs, and, catching her last few words, only made his suspicions return.
"What happened?" he asked, looking at the enraged Necromancer.

Amelia looked over at Nils. Wait, what? "Nils, no, wait!" she shouted. It was too late; he was already running off for the castle gates. "We can't let him go there alone, something really awful might have happened!" Amelia cried out in panic. She started after the bard; drag him back, go with him, whatever it took that would mean he would be okay and not trying to go into the lion's den on his own.

Rei ran over towards Rhys, seeing him flail about.
"Rhys, calm down! What's going on?"
He saw a large amount of the party wander into the castle.
"Rhys, Amelia, stay here. You guys probably want to start getting everyone in the Resistance out of here. Something has happened, so we need to get OUT! So, go tell people to be prepped to haul their sorry selves out of here, m'kay?" Rei sprinted off to where everyone was going.

Siegell looked up sharply, staring at the castle, and slipped around the table to meet with Shastah. If this was going to turn into a battle, he'd be more useful on his wyvern's back than on the ground.

". . .Damn it," the bishop muttered, getting to his feet. "Something is wrong here. But I don't. . ." He paused, then looked back down at his friend and gestured quietly. "Would you come with me, Ed? I have the feeling that this place is not going to be peaceful for much longer, and I don't wish to leave you to fend for yourself." he paused. "Also. . . I seem to have forgotten my weapons. . ."

Before Adele catched up to her, Grishelda sensed her Mistress' distress. This cannot be good, Grishelda thought. She quickly teleported to where her Mistress was.
When she teleported, Grishelda saw her with Tacitus. Walking toward them, Grishelda asked. "My glorious Mistress, I sensed your distress. Is something the matter?"

The castle's interior had warped the noise slightly, but the vendor woman was almost positive that she had heard someone scream from within. Pushing her up from off the base of the tree and onto her feet, she took a few chrious steps in the direction of the castle. She then hesitated. Perhaps she should instead stay behind. After all, it seemed others had also noticed the cry and were beginning to investigate. If it was something serious, she didn't want to get in the way.

Shaking his head lightly, the boy found himself laughing. There was nothing funny to be laughing at, at that moment...But somehow he just could not help himself. He supposed it must be nerves that made him act so, but so many things were happening all at once, and he was becoming overwhelmed. Shaking a bit with the wieght of it all, his voice broke and he fell to his knees, looking as though he may pass out at any moment. He'd already been fatigued from the last few days of stress and brainstorming. This was all getting to be too much.

Ultimately, it was Amelia's last few words that finally put Rhys' thoughts into perspective.
"Phew... That's a good question. We're... we're the Host Club, the life of this party! No matter what, we don't panic! And we look good doing it!"
The roses once again appeared around Rhys. He was back to normal!
"Sorry about that. I got carried away. Maybe it's not the end of the world YET... say, where did Nils go? I thought he came over here while I was babbling..."
He turned and looked around.
"Right... well, let's see. Amelia's dashing after Nils, Rei just told me to get everyone ready to leave. But how? To do so now might make things go very sour very rapidly..."
