((Yes. Black.))
Tiki looked back. "Get back inside. I doubt you'd be much good." He wasn't intentionally being rude, but he was looking for the maximum efficency in defending the door, and another body in the hall that he had to watch definitely wasn't it.

Kurtis nodded, not offended. He hadn't had the attention span to learn how to shoot effectively. He immediately ducked back into the room, but paused just inside the door as he realized something. "We're holing up here?" he asked. "You said 'hurry up' a second ago!"

Tiki shrugged. "That was before the enemy was already kicking down the door." Connor, meanwhile, was looking on in interest. The old man was still mumbling to himself, but it appeared that he was nearly done. The voices outside were growing louder. Tiki holstered his handgun and drew the SMG, an MP5 with a stock. He held it ready.

The drive north was slow and quiet, accompanied by the monotonous repetition of the heavy air. The sky was slowly turning into a dark vacuum of grey-ebony while a streak of fire, a vertical horizon, was fore casted before her. Niola was sure this had to be a warning signal, someone had to be alive. The streak of fire came to the North West of her. She put her car into reverse, took a left turn onto a dirt road, and continued to swiftly drift among the darkness. The sun was virtually missing in action, and the vertical ring of fire must have been some fortunate coincidence brought upon by these peculiar conditions.

Tiki shrugged, smiling roguishly. "Details. Who needs em?"
Niola drove for about ten minutes before coming to the gate of the camp. It was locked, so she got out of her car and walked in. She saw the bodies on the ground, but it didn't disturb her as much as it should have. What drew her attention was two bodies lying in the dirt, glowing as though they contained small suns. She walked over to the nearest one. His eyes were closed and his fingers clenched and unclenched slowly. Niola reached out slowly. Just before her hand touched his skin, he jerked awake, gasping. "Who - " He broke into a coughing fit. Not as though sick, but as though just catching his breath. "Who are you?" he gasped. "What's...what time is it? What day?" It was Commander John St. Cyrill. He was unaware that he had been unconscious for just over an hour. Niola informed him of the date and time. He looked around at his dead men. His face fell slowly. Then he saw Richard, glowing as well. "What's that?" he asked. He was too weak to move himself.
((Sorry for the ungodly amount of controlling there, Tree. I had to move the story.))

"I..Who-I have no idea what the hell that is. You're the one that's here, you should know what the hell happened. What the hell happened anyways?" Niola viewed the fried state of each individual inside of the gates she had just drive through. Was this some special organization? Or was it some kind of vigilante group? It was great to find people, but she wanted to find strong people not deprived because of delirium or hurt because of whatever the hell just happened--she needed support.

Kurtis rolled his eyes, smiling anyway. "So what do we do now, exactly? Have you face one way, Xander the other, and shoot anyone who approaches?"

St. Cyrill coughed and held out a hand, asking for her to help him up. "I have no clue," he said. "We were...attacked, I think. Then there was pain...and darkness. And now I'm awake." He groaned. "No one's gonna believe this."
Tiki had a kind of charm that even got to the sciency Kurtis. "No. Xander is staying in there in case I fall or they attack through the window." While he was speaking, the old man finished with a humming sigh and sat. Connor watched as the old man raised a hand. A small, weak fireball danced in his palm, floating an inch about the skin and feeding on its own energy, requiring no fuel. It sputtered weakly, struggling to stay alive.

Xander stood ready, his bow in his hand, as he waited for a target to find their way to him.
((Sorry for the lack of posting and the short post, we're being attacked, I gathered.))

((Haha. Nice.))
The man stood and went out into the hall, pushing past Tiki. Tiki was startled enough that the man made it past him, just as two more terrorists entered the hall. Of course, the fire in his palm made them stop for a second. The small man feebly pushed his arm forward, causing the fire to lape forward, hitting the lead one in the chest and instantly igniting him. He flailed around, and Tiki saw the tiny fireball leap to the next one, lighting him as well. The old man puffed his breath as the two collapsed, and the fire flew back to his hand. The fires on the two went out instantly, although they were already dead.

The old man shuffled back in, panting. Tiki looked into the room with complete disbelief on his face. His shirt was slowly fading through colors, showing his confusion. "That...what the hell?"
