Its Me Mr Pregnant 
There's a lot of immature asses in Burn, so maybe make a little 'heavan' like Gaia's forums, that's troll free for the most part. I know you can only set subforums to crew only and everyone, but make it aware that it's an area for adults(so to speak) and if you're caught being bad or out of line you'll get an official guild warning. 'Heavan' sounds a bit bullshitty, but I didn't want to say what my first thoguht was, which was an adult subforum. Adult usually implies much more mature talk of sex, but like a drama free zone.. Adultish. I made my whole Guild that exclusive, and when somebody actually showed up that was getting away with bs, we had to change the rules to be more strict. ninja

Wafuklesz I suggest that we make a subforum named "Exchangers/Venders Paradise" for the member of the guild who is selling some items or want to exhange or to trade some items. I was going to suggest the same thing. We have a thread for giving away stuff but nothing to sell things to fellow burn members if we want it to stay in the guild (because it is worth lots or what not).

We used to have that where the Free Gold subforum was, but there was a problem with people posting threads and then forgetting to check them. Besides, it's more profitable and easier to get fast replies if you post in the Gaia Exchange.

Well, that's largely correct, The Free Gold subforum always existed. There did, however, used to be a seperate subforum some time ago called something like "Mini-Shops, Selling, Buying, & Trading"... We got rid of that subforum because: 1) As Irako said, most people who created threads there never really followed up on them, & 2) Because not many threads were created there in the first place; the subforum was always incredibly inactive. Any threads about selling, buying, or trading items, or threads that are "Mini-Shops" located within the guild now belong in the Gaia Life subforum. So, even though the Gaia Life subforum obviously isn't specifically dedicated to buying & selling items etc. , the type of threads you were talking about, TongueTwister, are more than welcome in the Gaia Life subforum :3

Adultish. That's without question a great idea in theory. However, it's much harder to enforce a "drama-free" subforum than you might think. I mean, this is supposed to be a "drama free" guild, & the "You" subforum was at least originally supposed to be a subforum that was kind of like an EXTRA-"drama free" area. &, obviously, none of those attempts at "no drama" worked completely (although I'd definitely say that Burn is more drama-free than most guilds & forums on Gaia). The main problem with enforcing the whole "drama free" thing is that, no matter how much you clarify exactly what constitutes "drama" & what behavior is & isn't acceptable, it seems that there are always a handful of posts in which it's really hard to determine whether or not the post is more along the lines of "constructive criticism"/"tough love" or if it instead should be considered "too much drama" & "against the rules". & the whole element of how this guild is dedicated to allowing freedom of speech (within reason & in abidance with the guild rules) adds a whole additional layer of complexity when it comes to determining what is & isn't "drama". All that said, however, the creation of such a subforum like the one you proposed is & should definitely be a goal that Burn should strive to be able to successfully accomplish at some point in the hopefully near future. It will take a lot of time & planning & discussion, however.

Chieftain Twilight I would like to see a Subforum for One-on-One Counciling/Advice. I don't think that the little Thread in the "You" Forum, with the offer of contacting volunteer members" is a loud enough Welcome/Invite for our more needy Members. it isn't displayed prominently, and it doesn't offer a very enticing option. it just feels like an afterthought. I'd gladly run it myself if I had to. I think it would be a very good and usefull Subforum. if there is any Forum we are not using at all, we can convert it to this. though even if not, the Guild account has nearly a mil in it, so a new Subforum is nothing. also, I suggest that this very Suggestions Thread be Stickied or Announced. I almost couldn't find it. I'm more than willing to very seriously consider creating a subforum like that, Chief! You should create a thread in the Crew Subforum proposing that idea & providing some more detailed information as to how it would work exactly & all that. You're definitely right that some of the subforums in Burn are... kind of pointless & too inactive. As long as I know that there's a concrete plan & concept & all behind your idea, I see no reason why we shouldn't give it a shot :3 As for this thread being stickied... It was a sticky for a while, but I un-stickied it at some point because there were so many stickys & announcements that threads in this forum that were neither were simply being ignored, & were almost non-existent xP

Testicular Diabeetus I miss the blogging fourm, I think that you should have left it alone for the people that do blog in there. ;A; Since I don't feel like explaining the whole situation again, I'll just quote s**t that examples everything that was & is going on with that subforum & why I had to get rid of it & my frustration over people's reaction to it & whatnot.... "As for the Blogs subforum, I'm quite frankly really starting to get pissed off at how so many people want to keep it around yet practically nobody ever even posts in it, & perhaps more importantly nobody has come up with much of anything in the way of ideas regarding how to increase activity in that subforum & make it so it's NOT entirely dead.
I mean, how is it that 16 people voted to keep that subforum when 16 different people haven't even POSTED in that subforum within the past THREE MONTHS. Literally.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd love to somehow make the Blogs subforum work out. As I stated from the very beginning, I've held off for as long as I possibly can on getting rid of that subforum because I love the idea behind it so much. But the fact of the matter is is that the Memorable Threads subforum might even be more active than the Blogs subforum, & the Memorable Threads subforum is for dead threads.
