Weakly, Quin started to speek, "Now look at who's the Fool's fool. I should have seen him there..." He coughed and his body spasmed.
The archer, seeing he was reveiled, ducked under the rooftop, falling down to the street bellow and out of sight.

Enzeru glanced over in the direcyion of the archer and then back down at Quin. "I'll be back shortly, Kiana will take care of you while I'm gone." She didn't wait for him to reply, but she ran, yet again, back into the town, scyth in hand and ready to kill the fool who shot Quin.

Kiana didn't look up when her name was mentioned, she had to act quickly to stop his bleeding. With a warm smile on her face, she gentely tapped the boy to get his attention.

Katara reached the much larger town. She saw some gaurds patrolling the streets. Must've heard of the chaos. she thought sadly. She dismounted her horse once she reached the main gaurd tower. She didn't have to knock, and officer came out. He seemed flustered to see her there, but he was generous enough. "uh...Hello."
"Hello. I'm Katara. I'm one of the...seven." She said. He raised his eyebrows and led her inside.
About two hours later, Katara left the village. She had a bow and an arrow. She had an atlas and a couple more detail maps and a new sword. Her horse was towing a wagon that held food and clothing for the survivors of the attack on the other town. The sun was setting slowly, and Katara picked up her pace.
Katara arrived in the town just before nightfall. She stopped near the gaurds tent to tell them about the wagon. She unhitched her mare, which she has yet to name, and led the mare to a pond, letting her drink and graze. She undid the saddle and removed the blanket from the horses back, and dropped it on the ground, watching the dust rise then settle. She sighed, patting her mare on the neck as she ate.

Quin tried to turn his head to look at Kiana, but only ended up in more pain.
As Kiana takes off his shirt, she notices that there is more than just the whole created by the arrow, and many slash marks in it as well. There were also a few gashes in his side and back.

She looked at the horrible marks covering the boys back. She took a bottle that was filled with a thick red liqued and poured some onto a clean, soft rag. "This may hurt a bit, so you might want to bite something just in case." With a light hand, she begins gentely dabbing the medicine onto his wounds, the bleeding stopping almost right away.

Quin stifled a cry of pain, bringing it down to a low moan. He hated it when others looked over him, as he always looked out for himself, on his own. The pain was tolerable, compared to that of the arrow jutting out of his back. The other wounds where just superficial injuries that were minor, from blows barely blocked.
However the arrow had penetrated deep, but did not pierce through. It thankfully seemed to be in no critical place, but getting it out might be more difficult than one would imagine.

Katara walked up the road to the medic camp. She saw Quin and Kiana. She gasped when she saw the arrow jutting from his back. She ran to them. "What happened?" she asked quickly, looking down at the random cuts and slashes.

"Me... being a foolish fool." Quin said between ragged breaths as Kiana worked on his wounds.

Katara looked down at him, a weak smile coming on her face. "We're all fools at some point in time. But I was actually wondering who shot you. Are you okay? It didn't any vitals, did it? Oh, I hope not." She whispered the last sentance.

"Oh, Kiana shot me." Quin joked, trying to lift the mode a little, but ended up twinging again from pain instead. "I'm not dead yet... seems to be a good sign." Quin coughed after that, making him spasm in pain once more.

Katara smiled, "Oh. Kiana can have a little temper every now and then." She giggled, but she got serious, "So, there are still enemies in the town?" She asked.

Gill looked on numbly as Kiana helped the boy with the arrow. He was horrified. He had seen bodies, but never this many at one time. He wanted to say something, but he was scared that he might throw up, or scream. Screaming would be worse. He looked back down the street. It was littered with bodies. His breath caught in his throat as he realized that some of them were children. He sank to the ground and put his head between his knees, taking in big gulps of air through his mouth so he wouldn't smell the blood and the bodies that were already starting to decay."Um...when you're done with..." he gasped, gesturing to the boy "we should....."he pointed down the street. "We should...move them or...or something...." he trailed off.

Katara looked at the frail corpses, and held her breath as the scent of rotting flesh reached her nose. She let out a deep breath and spoke, "What we need to do is clear this town of the attackers, and leave their bodies to rot. We'll bury everyone else." She said sadly.
