Actually for Disney Channel they have quite a few POTO references. In Highschool musical they mention Michael Crawford inside this dude's mom's fridge. She has a picture of him in there to deter her from eating, because he'll see everything she's eating. But I'm thinking: 'Crap, if I had a piccy of MC in MY fridge, I'd visit it more often! And then, in Phantom of the Megaplex, when they go downstairs, they find a few Lon Chaney POTO posters. I was laughing and cryong and screaming and pawing at the TV at the same time! Also, in the book 'The Veiw from Saturday', it doesn't involve Disney Channel, but they go to see the Phantom of the Opera musical.

Yesterday, while in Technical Theatre class we were making props out on the stage when suddenly someone said there was a ghost on the catwalk. Everyone looked up to see stuff clanking around and curtains fluttering like someone had touched them. I looked around at the rest of the phans in my class and said jokingly "It's the Phantom! It's Erik!" and everyone started laughing. However, as soon as I finished the electricity went out eek and I was like "Ho' snap. It really is Erik."
Turns out it was just a storm outside crying

I saw both those Disney Channel Movies... My sister's obsessed with 'em. Well, for starters, my friend's four-year-old bro lost my mask, so every day I have to look for it... No luck yet... And I'm constantly doodling in my math notebook. Lots 'o da Erik. ~<3 Also, I've incorporated him into my art class, every break, I draw him in the back of my notebook, and due to the figure drawing that we did, I can now... whee ... -cough- Yeah. Get your mind out of the gutter. I can draw him more accurately now. GAWD! I'm surrounded by PERVS! No, I'm kidding. ^^;;

I have to do a really time-consuming presentation on the POTO novel for English soon. Yay for Erik, boo for projects.

Oh yeah, this dancer guy from my dance school is back. His face is all scarred up, he sticks to himself... Really Erik-ish in that antisocial-outcast-who's-deformed-and-sexy-at-the-same-time way.

Any of you seen the MOVIE Fantasticks?
Welllllllll... there was that once scene where El Gallo first appears for the fathers and he says "At your service" and goes poof! with his hand and all I kept thinking about was, "I trust that you have not come all the way from Russia simply to show me fireworks..." And then in the Round and Round scene when he was bewitching Luisa I kept thinking, "Angel of Doom...O_O" And his next scene with her... El Gallo: But what if it's all just illusions? *snaps* *lights go out* El Gallo: Glamorous sideshows... *claps* *some tents fall* El Gallo: Smoke and mirrors... *claps* *flash of lightning* El Gallo: Well? What do you think now? Luisa: I think you're wonderful! El Gallo: >_< *stares at her* I almost screamed, "HOLY GOSH! HE'S GOOD-LOOKING ERIK!"

Woot! Another Hanukkah celebrater!
My family has a tradition of putting present hints on Christmas gift tags (yes, we celebrate Hanukkah AND Christmas) and one of them said "To Eristine from Erik". I wrote under it: "Don't fool me. That is NOT what Erik's handwriting looks like." XD Can't wait to find out what it is!
Edit: Black leather gloves! twisted

I need to see that Lon Chaney movie...
Hmm...I've had a few things where something reminded me of PotO, or where I spotted a reference, but I can't remember anything.
Um...I was at my uncle's house the other day, and they have this little fake, plastic-looking chandelier thing, and I kept looking at it and thinking of PotO. So I guess chandeliers make me think of Phantom now... Same with every time I see/hear the name Erik (or Eric). And masks, or at least white or black masks.

Well this is kind of random, but a friend and I were bugging this other friend to go to dinner with us when we both saw that some one had written something for her roomate on the marker board hanging outside her room. It was something weird about truth and dare but it ended in "make your choice." We both turned to each other and said "Make your choice" in a really deep voice and laughed. It wasn't until later that the reference started to bug me though becuase I couldn't quite remember where I had heard that from. At first I thought it was something Darth Vader had said (que deep voice) but I was pretty sure it wasn't from Star Wars but I knew it had be something rather popular for us to both know what it was from (she couldn't remember where she had heard it from either!) It wasn't until two days later after watching Silence of the Lambs with this particular friend, that I was listening to the Phantom broadway musical soundtrack and it hit me on the "Down once more" track that it was the phantom!! "You try my patience, make your choice!" I had forgotten that we both could sing along to the tracks so of course she would know!
I was glad I remembered atleast, it's annoying when something's on the tip of your tongue but you can't quite place it.... sweatdrop
