I looked out one of the windows and saw Arnnie lying on the lawn. He seemed... Sad. I made my way downstairs and finally took in the view of the house. It was intimidating in sorts. Almost everyone here was some how famous or rich. Me? I was just a poor little college student, depending and free loading off her friends. I folded my hands together and as I thought more of it, I dig my nails into my palm. Almost up to the point of bleeding, but I spotted Arnnie and released my tight grasp. I looked around and saw something shiny and threw it near him. I slowly made my way next to him and sat down. "Everything ok?" I asked in a hushed tone, sounding more tired and wiped out than wanted to.

Derrik frowned and watched Lila leave. He took a step after her, then stopped. He mentally kicked himself for being stupid, but if she was still angry with him he wasn't going to fix it by not taking a hint. Lila had walked off; she didn't want to talk to him. And Nathan? For all he knew Nathan was hiding from what probably looked like Lila was going to mount him right in the living room. Not even a little likely, but then again, everyone in this house was acting strange.
Hoping not to get lost in the huge house, Derrik headed the way he last saw Nathan go. It took him a while, but he found himself at the pool. "There you are! I am going to start making you lot drop bread crumbs when you run off like that. I was starting to think I wasn't going to find you at all." Derrik was certainly not in the right sort of suit for swimming, so he simply crouched at the edge of the pool behind Nathan. "What was that all about?"

Arne looked up at Lila as she was approaching and when she asked about him he turned his head away. Not noticing the tire in her voice he stammered, trying to keep his voice even. "Yeah... I- I'm fine." He felt hot tears well up in his eyes and quickly tried to wipe them away. Someone noticed... This small consolation suprised Arne and he glanced up at Lila again with a single tear going down his cheek.

((Hehe, when I post any thing with '~' it means she's thinking, not talking 3nodding And she thought 'that idiot' to Nathan because he thought the wrong thing and ran away instead of staying there to hog muffin knight for himself. She's not mad, so your character is worried over nothing. HAHA xd ))

Nathan jumped when he heard Derrik announce his presence. After a flury of arms and splashes, Nathan took control of the situation and began to wade in the water look up and Derriks face. He knew exactly what Derrik was talking about. But, he wasn't quite ready to play confession just yet. Nathan sighed. "What are you talking about?" He asked, trying to look pissed off and annoyed that Derrik scared him so bad. Nathan's eyeliner was running and he decided to completely wash it out by sinking under water and swiming to the shallow end. Once he reached his destination, Nathan climbed out and looked down at his feet. But what met him was the realization that his boxer-briefs were now see-through. Nathan paniced and ran to the towel rack, trying to make sure that Derrik didn't get a glimps of his man-hood. Nathan made it to the towel rack succesfully and wrapped a towel around his waist. Now that he was more comfortable being completely covered, Nathan walked around the pool and sat in the chair next to his clothes.

Colleen returned from her ride with a smile worn, rolling her shoulders as she parked and hopped off of the vehicle. Facing the Ducati, she grinned and patted the storage compartment as if the bike was alive. She was barely able to restrain herself from cooing the motorbike like a puppy. Certainly is one smooth ride. Colleen had a new destination in mind, as her fingers ached in longing. She made her way to the front door, keys already in hand. Fumbling with the keys for a few moments, she managed to get in on the third key. Directly after getting inside, she made a beeline for her room, digits fidgeting as she made long strides. As usual, she closed her door after entering, grabbing her guitar off the bed. She sat on the edge of the bed, fingers gliding over the frets for a moment. A happy smile had nestled itself onto her lips, as she closed her eyes and played whatever came to mind. A torrent of emotion in the form of chords and notes.

I looked at Arnnie in surprise when I saw the tear glide down his cheeks. I pulled down my sleeve and wiped his tear away. "What's wrong?! Did I do something wrong?!" I didn't know what to do. This was the first time I had ever saw him tear or cry or, well you get the idea. "Please don't be sad, I'm here for you and so is everybody else!" I pulled him into a hug and rubbed his back in a comforting way. "I'm always here for you. So please, don't cry." I said softly. 'Especially when you were the one who comforted me when my parents first divorced...'

Derrik watched Nathan with a still expression. More than once he'd felt the urge to smile as Nathan splashed in the water as comfortably as he would around any of his friends. But since Derrik very rarely smiled for no reason at all, it was better not to do so now. Nathan exited the pool and Derrik caught a tempting glimpse of his backside. He looked away. Nathan was a friend, a very good friend. He shouldn't be enjoying the thought that Nathan was unaware of the interest behind his gaze.
Derrik rises to his feet and strolls casually to where Nathan had sat. He'd made such a mad dash for the towels that Derrik felt a short moment of panic. Maybe he had given himself away somehow? No. Thinking like that would just insure that he would slip. "I am talking about you fleeing just now. You could not have been that desperate to take a swim. Is there something I should know about here? No one has been acting normal since I arrived."

Arne was suprised again when she mentioned a tear. He hadn't realized that one had slipped past earlier. Sighing as she hugged him he relaxed and looked up at her. "Thank you... But I couldn't really have you worry ab- nevermind." Once again his need to keep secrets blocked his emotions and his face became set in stone. He pulled away and lay down in the grass again, looking at the clouds, then up at Lila again. "How have you been lately? I haven't really had a chance to talk to you. We were to preoccupied spinning circles, remember?" He scatched his nose and put his hands behind his head, using them as a pillow.

"Well.." I said as I lay down as well, the slight breeze was nice and it blew a few pieces of hair that was on my face away. "Like you, I just arrived recently, last night. Came back from China, it was scorching hot and the bugs was feasting on me. Nothing too big changed... You?"

Nathan raised his eyebrow. "Here? No ones gonna act normal here, Derrik. A lot of things have changed. Most of us lost touch with the others and we all just reconnected. Its been a while, thats all." Nathan tried to fake a smile to Derrik, but it didn't come out as planned. Nathan looked up and down Derrik a couple of times. He realised how better looking he got since the last time he saw him at the begining of senior year. He look so much better. His achne had cleared up, leaving behind flawless skin. His body was a little bulkier, but not by much. He was actually still kind of scrawny, but so was Nathan, the only difference was that Nathan was 3 inches taller. All-in-all, Derrik looked a lot more pleasing to look at then he ever did in high school. Nathan had his eyes moving up and down his body. He had gotten caught up in his little fantasy, that he began to undress him with his eyes. But, then Nathan realised who he was looking at and demanded himself to close his eyes. He did so, in a struggling motion, and then turned to the pool. He then opened his eyes and began to focus on the water, taking glimpses of Derrik every couple of seconds.

"Oh... Did you like it?" He blinked at her blunt answer and said. "I just came back from the hospital. No big news, just a check-up." Arne's eyes twinkled as he noticed how well he could lie, and he smiled slightly. And to a friend... When he thought of this he frowned, paying no attention to his rapid change of facial-features.
