{Well, Damn! We're losing a valued member!} Rayne bit her lower lip. "I have. I think the reason the world's so unfair is because of the bad guys making it like that for all the good guys..." She sighed lightly. "I felt that web too. I thought I was going to lose my mind, feeling so stuck. I can't be sure how, but I think I got most of myself free. I'll never be completely free though. Not while the bad guys still run around doing what they want." Rayne looked up at Janie again. "The only way I can get out of my web, is to fight the bad guys and make sure they can't make anyone else get stuck in the web. I'm not fully sure if I can do it, but I'll still try." She put her scythe down. "That's the best anyone can do." She looked at her hand, calloused from holding a weapon for so long. "All we can do is try. If we don't, we stay stuck. Do you want to try, Janie?"

Ilisia walked over to Janie and Rayne and interrupted, "Janie. We need to train you a little in your magic before we go to ki- fight the evil woman who wants to hurt us." Janie's lower lipped quivered and she shook her head. "I don't wanna learn to fight." Zalexis walked over and sighed. "Janie... You have to. It's the only way. Rayne? Will you help us a little bit?"

Rayne smiled. "As long as I'm not being chased by squirrels, I'll do my best." She giggled slightly at the joke.

Zalexis sighed in relief. "Come on Janie." Janie nodded and said, "What do I need to do?" Ilisia hugged her and said, "Just do what I do." Ilisia pulled out her daggers and began a simple, yet complex dance with them and a purple with white edged aura began to fly around her. Suddenly, she paused and the magic swirled before disappearing into the ground as if nothing had happened. Janie stared in awe before saying, "How do I do that?" Ilisia said, "Let's just start with spells. Forus iatu!" Janie repeated what Ilisia said and a blue magic restored Zalexis's strength. And so they continued on, with Zalexis watching and correcting Janie's pronunciation.

Rayne poked at the dirt with the base of her scythe, waiting on Ilisia's orders.

Ilisia smiled to Rayne and said, "Will you help Janie with the fluidity of her movements? Which spells can you do that may help Janie? I've only got healing and Zal's is attack mind magic... Is there anything you can do to help us, please?" Janie looked up at Rayne and looked worried. "Rayne... How about showing me how to use that dagger...?"

Rayne nodded slightly, wincing at the thought of trying to teach a spell to anyone. "I can handle training someone physically, but not arcanically. I think I've explained my little 'flaming cheetah' endevour plenty of times." She pulled a dagger from the hem of her coat. "I'll show you a few of my movements." She tossed the blade with a flick of her wrist into the dirt, before diving and rolling to snatch it up again. "If you toss a blade and you don't have any others, you'll need to quickly get it back. A roll could help you avoid spells or projectiles until you get your weapon back." She held the blade out at arms length. "You shouldn't use the dagger for a sword. It won't protect you in the same way. A dagger is better for close combat and quick attacks." {Describing the blade work isn't too fun. So can we skip ahead a bit past Rayne's explaination?}

((Sure.)) Ilisia watched Janie practice a bit and said, "We really should be going to try to see if we can find her now... I mean, it's time to fight. Before they attack us again. Because despite the fact that we slaughtered all of the minions, there will be more..."

{*Sighes gratefully*} Rayne winced slightly at the word 'slaughter' but nodded. "The longer we wait, the harder it will be to find them and catch them off guard."

Ilisia grimaced but nodded. Zalexis just closed his eyes. "Whether we're ready or not, now's the time, Illie. We have to do it before it's too late." Ilisia nodded again and picked up Janie. The little girl squirmed for a moment to try to get down but stopped when Ilisia said, "Shhh... We have to go now and I don't want you to get tired. Rayne, are you ready?" She turned around to smile sadly before walking off towards the direction of the deep forest with Zalexis at her side.

Rayne jogged up behind Ilisia and flipped over her, landing in front of them all. "Who's needing to hurry up?" She smiled and stuck her tongue out. "I'm just having fun." Acting silly, she walked around in a circle.

Janie giggled at Rayne's theatrics. Ilisia scowled and said, "Rayne, don't encourage her to be childish. This is definitely not the time right now. We're about...to..." Ilisia quickly checked her words before saying, "To... do something that should have been done a long time ago."
