otawara I understand Rest being powered down in Melee, I mean in the original is was a one hit kill no matter what, unless you really lucky or there were a lot of stage bumps. But I like adding flowers to the mix. Its funneh. Actually, Rest was only slightly more powerful than it is in Brawl in the original. Melee was the one that had the one hit kill property.

Let it also be noted that only Blue Pikmin will survive falling into the water if water is present in the stage.

You guys didn't get all of the uses for Olimar's B-Down. He can use it to instantly call back any Pikmin that are separated from him.

Also, the Whistle doesn't shift the line down by one. It's a color co-ordinated ordering system. It can even be used strategically to throw the same Pikmin twice in a row with one Whistle.

If you pluck pikmin near an edge where they are falling off, you can just use whistle to call them back up to you.

The thing that makes me lol about fighting my little brother when he plays Olimar is, when he is doing his smash move. Afterwards I usally run in and massacre his pikmen twisted
this gives me time to wail on him when he is busy trying to replenish his pikmen
