James chuckled softly and said "Yes. She can choose whatever one she likes." with his normal, soft smile. He glanced at Ali slightly and winked at her, mouthing 'Don't worry' to her while Alexis was distracted by the blades. He smirked slightly and patted the case again, waiting for Alexis to pick one.

"Hmmmm... what about that one?" she asked, pointing to a long sword in the back of the case, with sapphires on the handle. "Tell me about that one," she asked, looking up at him.
Ali frowned, but simply nodded.

James smirked slightly and glanced in at the sword Alexis was refering to. He reached into a pocket inside his cloak and withdrew a small key, which he then placed into the padlock and unlocked the case. He pulled the padlock off and set it atop the case, along with the key. He reached in and felt around, eventully pulling the sword Alexis had pointed out off the shelf and into the air. He lay the handle in his hand, and the bottom of the blade, the flat side, against the palm of his other hand.
"Calinly. It was crafted a good couple hundred years ago by a mage and a smith. The sapphires in the grip of the blade power a slight magical force which allows it to unleash small bursts of ice or freezing wind, depending on the sword technique used to attack. It is light weight, and it hard to damage, let alone destroy."

"Calinly," Alexis said, looking at the sword, repeating his words. She nodded and looked up at James. She actually smiled. Not a smirk, or a grin; but a smile.
"It's a very pretty sword,"
Ali looked at the sword as well. She didn't like the sound of it. Alexis didn't need a new sword, let alone a sword with powers in it. She frowned.

James nodded slightly, and reached into the case and pulled the sheath from the shelf. He placed the blade into the sheath and handed it to Alexis, smiling brightly. "Try it out. You can always pick another one if you like." he said, his voice soft. He carefully edged over to Ali while Alexis was distracted by the sword and knelt down, next to her, on the pretext of picking a rock out of his shoe. "Kindness brings out a better side then anything else. The first step towards her calming down is being kinder to her." he mumbled, then stood back up and patted Ali's head.

Alexis continued smiling, holding the sword in her head. She took it out of it's sheath and examined it. It was surprisingly a bit lighter than the sword she already had. She tested it out, attacking the air in front of her.
Ali sighed. She wasn't so sure. She had been nice to Alexis most of her life.
"I hope you're right. I've tried being nice to her," she mumbled back.

?James smiled and looked down at Ali, his face softer then normal. "Ah..You may have been, but you're her sister. You have to be nice to her, so she comes to expect it. I, however, am a stranger who does not. If she doesn't calm down..Then..Eh. We'll deal with that as it may come." he said in a slight whisper, just enough so Alexis could not hear them. He stepped forward a bit, Fafenir's sheath tip hitting the ground a bit.
"Enjoying the sword, I take it? Shall I close up the case or would you like to look at the others?" he asked Alexis, still smiling softly. He reached over and put his arm atop Ali's head, leaning on her with a slight grin.

Kumizu was still by the fountain, his brow furrowed in thought. His thoughts were cut off as he heard two women arguing. He looked up. That was the girl he'd seen before! In the fountain. Friendly type... The other woman looked identical, except that she had purple hair. Another person was behind them, a tall man with a taller sword. He watched apathetically until the man brought out a large case filled with swords. Then he couldn't help but stare.

Alexis shook her head.
"No, I like this one," she said, nodding and still smiling.
"Thank you... very much,"
Ali mumbled something about not being an arm rest, but she was also trying not to laugh at the same time.

James nodded quickly and smiled at both Alexis and Ali, then move4d over to his case. He quickly replaced the padlock and locked it again, then carefully tied the cloth back around it. "Well then, I belive I'll go put this back. I'll be back in a little bit. Please don't test that out on Ali, would you? I'd rather prefer her in one piece." he said with a soft chuckle. He quickly picked up the case by the rope and hauled it over his shoulder, sprinting back across the Courtyard towards the Dorms.

Kumizu didn't usually jump into conversations like this, but swords were involved, after all. He rose off of his seat and called out to the man. "Hey... you! What kind of swords do you have in there?"

"As if I could test it on her," Alexis muttered, looking at Ali. She knew the second she would try to bring any weapon near Ali, she would whip out her mace on that god damned long chain.
Ali frowned.
"What are you going to do with your old sword?"
"Keep it. This is a better way to learn to fight more with my left hand. Then I'll learn to use both at the same time," she said, grinning.

James halted in his steps and slowly turned to the man who had called out to him. He shrugged and stepped over to the man slowly, carrying the case over his back. "All kinds, really." he said. He hoisted the case over his shoulder and gently placed it on the ground. He unwrapped the cloth again and once again unveiled the slightly sparkling case, filled with swords. "Are you simply observing or looking to purchase one? I have no need of money, and the price depends on the sword."

"Sorry to make you come all the way back, but I am just an observer for right now." He couldn't take his eyes off of the case now. The sun was hitting it dead on, so many of the swords sparkled in its light. He looked back up, smiling. "I'm sorry, where are my manners?" He stuck out his hand. "My name's Kumizu."

James smiled slightly and offered his hand "James Magnius. I presume since you are so interested in my collection, that you too are a swordsman?" he said, tapping his fingers gently on the glass of the case. He glanced over at Alexis and Ali, glad they were not killing one another. "And it is no trouble. I was merely showing the collection to my friends over there. The Dorm isn't too far off, really, so it's no trouble to carry this about."
