Kimmi held her shoulder and eyed Khana. "Still think I'm useless." She threw at her as she turned around and started heading for camp. She was still angry and hurt, she would apologize later when she felt like she could without making it sound mean and cold.

There was something Khana wanted to know... she ran and caught up with Kimmi, "no no no, wait a minute. The fact that you knew where i was and needed help aside... why were you carrying an ammo clip?" she asked getting in front of her and walking backward so she didn't need to make her stop altogether.

Kay shouted in frustration and threw the zombies body down. She got up and put away her sword. Pacing she lit a cigarette and made up her mind. She was going to do what that silly shaman hand told her would bring back some of her memories. She had saved the old man from a particularly vicious bunch a zombies that the old man had managed to leave near and hide by for several months. Crushing her cigarette beneath her boot she turned and headed out into the dessert. Either she was coming back with her memories or she wasn't coming back at all.

Kimmi rolled her eyes and stopped. She motioned to her arm. "It's dislocated. Would you?" She meant for the woman to pop it back in place. "And I always carry one of your ammo clips. One of Bubbles too." She pulled it out as if to prove it. "Just in case." She shrugged and winced.

Kay made her way to a gave deep in the mountain nearby. Slowly she built up a huge fire and sat down in front of it. From her inside pocket she pulled out a bag of dried herbs to burn on the fire. The old man had warned him that it would be dangerous, and that she might not find out anything if she remembered anything at all. Taking a deep breath she solidified her resolve and threw the bag onto the fire. The fire exploded into a sparks of blue and green.

((sorry i got off so suddenly last night, but my computer decided it was nite nite time, right when i was popping Kimmi's arm back in... so i didn't get to finish or submit that post... and it being 1 AM my time, I was to lazy to go to the trouble of getting it back on just for one post stare ))
Khana came forward, taking Kimmi's arm gently in her hands, saying "alright, but then you tell me how you knew where i was" and the popped it back in place a little less gently... not that something like that could exactly be done "gently".
However, after that was done, she suddenly thought of something,"Ah, wait a minute..." She pulled off the arm band Kimmi had given her, and started feeling it. After about 30 seconds she felt a little place that was harder than it should be. "You clever little-" she didn't finish that sentence, but had revealed the tracker in it. "Damn Kim, thats something I would do" she said looking up, with a grin, not in the least bit mad about that, in fact, she acted like their little feud was momentarily forgotten.... Khana didn't always have the best attention span...

Fillup was running through the plan with his fellow survivors, making sure they all knew what to expect and what to do in the unexpected "-don't let them get near the trucks, ever" he popped his gum, as much to emphasize his point as to feel more comfortable.
The sun was rising into the sky now, blinding anything that looked into it Looks like day one is up Fillup thought as he walked over to the supplies truck. He rumaged through it until he found what he was looking for, a canvas covering with a ribbed structure "Hey, come help me put these on the trucks!" he yelled.
(You know the old western wagons, the ones with the odd coverings on them, well these are like those, but they go on the trucks mrgreen Keeps the sun off the gunners))

Fillup looked at Loan "Then help! Geez!" he pulled one of the canvases off, being helped by two others. They managed to set it up on the new truck, surprising to Fillup "Well, one down, three to go" he said cheerily as he wiped sweat from his forehead.

Kimmi had yelped and was nursing her shoulder a bit when Khana found the chip. She shrugged and winced at the same time. "Yea well, I'm smarter than the ditzy little girl you treat me like." She started walking again. "I don't like loosing my friends or being separated from them. Bubbles is staying behind and you keep threatening to shoot me. My friendships aren't exactly looking lasting." She shrugged again then rubbed her shoulder. "Speaking of he's not gonna be too happy I trashed another bike."
