He had been fiddling with the hem of his shirt when she had asked him if he wanted something to eat or not. Edward couldn't help but smile at that.
"Well...being that you are such a Twilight fanatic, shouldn't you already know that little bit? Or should I refresh your mind?" Humans could be just a tad bit slow sometimes so he guessed that he might have to go a little slower with her.

Jacob walked home in his human form. Since the fight with Edward, he had a broken arm and a sprained ankle. It wasn't the right thing to do, pick a fight with him in the dead of night with his family to back him up but he couldn't control his anger with Amanda around. It was like she ruled his brain, telling him to do things he normally wouldn't do without his pack's advice.
"Damn girl.."

Amanda chuckled lightly. "Alright alright. I'll admit it..I did know..I was just being polite..." she smiled softly. She twiddled the tip of her hair in her fingers.

Jasper smirked his white teeth flashed in the lunar light. "great." he lead the way back to the human's house and in one swift motion jumped onto the windowsill. "Hey!" she said in a hushed yell. "do you kids need some supervision?" he laughed loudly and stepped down onto the cheap bash carpeting.

Amanda jumped and slid of Edwards lap onto the couch with her legs draped over his lap. "Jasper you startled me!"she hissed. She put a hand over her heart.

Edward exhaled sharply, leaned back on the couch, slamming his head into the back wall.
"Is it too much to ask for a moment alone? Really? Don't you trust me at all with a beautiful woman?" He narrowed his eyes at Jasper but smiled to at least show that there weren't any hard feelings.
"I swear, it's like you two are babysitting me." He rolled his eyes and shook his head in disbelief.
Edward got up off of the couch, gently lifting Amanda's legs off of his lap and stretched. It had been awhile since he had sat down for such a long period of time, then again, he didn't like sitting down much, he only did it so he would come across as 'normal'. Suddenly Edward crouched down low and sprang forward at Jasper, knocking him down and sending the both of them to the floor. As quickly as he had pounced on Jasper, Edward flipped him onto his stomach and pinned his arms behind his back.
"This is for interrupting, I'm sure that Alice saw this, now, say you give up!" Edward hissed, he usually fought with Emmett being that the man was so much bigger than he was and he usually won...that is...only when Emmett was unaware of his position. Emmett was strong, but he was faster. Jasper on the other hand, had fighting experience so Edward liked to test his abilities with him.
"Say it!"

Jasper fought not to give up control. he closed his yes and stoped breathing. "you don't want to do this here." he said coldly all the play had flead from his face. "not near her." jasper did not struggle or even move.

Alice jumped through the window with grace. "Do I have to babysit all three of you?" she asked, annoyed and then pulling Edward off jasper. "Edward, I thought you would want to be more carefull as to control yourself around Amanda. Fighting isn't the answer." she said, smacking him in the back of the head. She then bent down to jasper and helped him up, hugging him. "At least you know how to behave yourself at the moment." she whispered.

Amanda curled her knees to ehr chest and watched from the couch.She knew it must of been a playful jesture but JAZZ didn't like the joke.She leaned ehr head on her knees as she watched quietly.

Edward shook his head quickly and blinked a couple of times. Hm, he was bad at that....the whole picking fights thing.
"Sorry....lost my mind there." He grimaced, there had to be a line drawn SOMEtime.
He shoved his hands in his pocket and walked over to one of the windows that faced the outside. It was a gloomy day, it probably would rain soon. That would be good...rain always made him feel a little bit better. Unconsciously, Edward rubbed the back of his head where Alice had smacked him, he didn't realize that she had until now.
"You slap really hard you know that?" Edward muttered beneath his breath enough for her to hear.
Quickly, Edward turned around and walked over to where Amanda sat. He got down on his knees and sighed deeply.
"I appologize for my actions, I shouldn't have engaged in a fight with Jasper no matter how angry I was. I put your life at possible risk and I am very sorry for what I've done." Edward's voice wavered slightly. He leaned forward and had almost kissed her but thought better of it.
"Your life is in danger with us being around you. I can't fathom what would happen if we stayed like this any longer." He looked away, slowly standing up.

Amanda sighed.She was going to force him to stay. "i knew it.." she muttered under breath.She leaned back on the couch and watched. she had to tell him "You realize..if the Vultri know I know the truth..they'll come after me..right?"

Edward's jaw clenched at the name. He knew the consequences. He turned around quickly, his eyes showed his hatred.
"I know what will happen and that is exactly why I'm doing this! I know they will come, I know what they want you to do and I say NO! I will NOT let you die but I will certainly NOT change you!" There was nothing he wanted to do more at that moment than to slam his fists into something, anything, anything that could break but would take effort. There were so many bottled up emotions that threatened to spill forth and he would have none of it.
"Amanda, I'm trying to protect you, you must see that! I know this is all a little repetitive but it's true! The longer I'm around you, the more danger you are in and the worse I'll feel about it all when you end up dying!" He sighed deeply and covered his eyes. The dark made him feel calmer.
In a softer voice, not nearly as harsh as it was before, he said "Amanda....I think....I might have fallen for you...do you know how dangerous that is?"

Amanda jumped when he yellled her heart aacelerated rapidly. In that moment..she actually felt fear.
But then she heard what he said and that mede her heart skipped fourbeats. SHe remmebered what happened in the books. All four of them. SHe just..she just couldn't ignore it. "I'm not asking you to change me Edward..I never said that" she whispered.The tears strolled down her cheels. She had been in love with a fictional character for so long and now he was REAL..what the hell was she going to do?

Edward's fists tightened at his sides. He knew that he had upset her but there was no other way. He had to make her hate him more than anything else in the world. ANYTHING. There was going to be some way that he could and he'd find out what it was before it was too late for her.
"Those are the only two options for them.....and I'm not going through with either one. Both of them are death anyway, no matter how you look at it, it always comes up with death. There's no escaping that fact. I don't think I'd ever be able to live with myself if I was the cause of that. To never see you live again," Edward moved forward slowly, getting back down to his knees so that they'd be closer and the height difference wouldn't matter as much. "To never see your eyes, to never see you blush again, that shade of pink that flushes your cheeks, it never ceases to make me smile. I'd kill myself before I'd let that happen to you." He reached forward to wipe away the tears that she had shed.
"Never."
