Truth be told, I hath believed, he indeed was on duty as well. Seeing as he hath been servicing Lady Blake during that time.

Apologies, your honour. I vouchsafe there shan't be another affrontery to thine courthouse.

The Lady on the platform's memory may be impaire By her time spent in the forme of hamstaire For as said tape doth truthishly showe without revision The Lady Blake did not appear until after the incident in questione. The Plaintiff doth humbly request, in accorde, that the Witness's remarks be strucketh from the recorde.

*Matt walsk back into the court room, sighs and takes a seat.*
I DO wish we could finish this. And I wish that damned imp would piss off and get out of Lex's head . . . *glances at the man, and groans a bit.*

I was under the impression that we only had to do it in actual court. Which we are not, at the moment.

This isn't "Earthian" court ettiquette. This is Lucifer's court etiquette. I suspect the worse we're doing, the funnier he finds it.
Which is fine. I'm just saying. Lucifer's rules are a bit different from the usual.

So.........Earthlican judges DON'T turn witnesses into animals or force the court to perform in poetic prose?
What a cold, sad, backwards world Earth used to be...

No. As a general rule, we're straight to the point. No transformations, no floating martinis. But if a god tells you what to do, you at least try to accomodate him.

Tenzil Kem Thy Honour, as is evidenced in the tape of the incidenteIt was clearly stated to Storm as he hath wente That mine Cliente was not on his duties that fortnighte And a request for Master Storm to abandon his sighte. Again, the Plaintiff doth humbly request at the Defense To please hasten the pointe of true relevance.
Tenzil Kem The Lady on the platform's memory may be impaire By her time spent in the forme of hamstaire For as said tape doth truthishly showe without revision The Lady Blake did not appear until after the incident in questione. The Plaintiff doth humbly request, in accorde, that the Witness's remarks be strucketh from the recorde.
It appears to me, on a review of the tape, that while Powell may indeed have had a date that night, he was still on duty. Considering that he was picking and choosing whom he was on duty for, I suggest his employer take a carefuyl review of Powell's past raises. Blake appears to have entered mear moments after Storm left and she was still served, albeit Powell had a surly attitude. I hope she didn't tip him. Your objections are over-ruled.
And I'll have you know that the only side effects to being a hamster are a craving for nuts and the tendancy to try and run in any wheel shaped object.
