((I didn't kick at all, that was Hibiki's thinking through what was happening in your attack, sorry if I post weird >.< ))
The blades met again, but this time Hibiki pushed against it, trying to force his opponent's katana down. Applying force steadily, he brought up his free hand and swung a punch towards Minato's ribs, hoping to throw off his balance.

((Okay then))
Minato's blade didn't let Hibiki gain any space between them, all he could do right now was defend since he was on the low ground. Feeling the pressure of their blades pushing eachother, he would HAVE to go on the offensive, the first thing towards that was getting out of the way of Hibiki's punch. To releive the blade from his, he let loose his wrist to let Hibiki's swords slide of his, moving away from Hibiki's blade and his punch as Hibiki's zanpakuto came down slid down, and moved off to the left, avoiding the blade but the threat of his punch hit him a little, knocking him off balance for a second. Coming to a bit of a stop to regain the grip of his blade and his stance, preparing to go offensive, but Hibiki had time for another attack, but he wondered if his oppenent would take his oppertunity.

OoC://[Be careful. I won't call it now, but you did just dodge a kick from close quarters, by a VC. Who is much faster then you.]
Amie's eyes widened as he dodged her kick. He actually made a handstand on her leg. That, was slightly annoying. Well I'll be damned. Time to take the kid gloves off, then. Amie didn't want to get to rough, but she didn't want to take a hit, either. She gripped her Zampacto, then jabbed it upwards at him. It was extremely fast, as she wouldn't allow him to kick herself in the head. the move would thrust him up and forwardly away from herself.

(( O.O; Ummm, I was kinda already falling backwards but that's cool. ))
The jab connected and Kidou lost his balance and fell forwards and back onto the ground. Before she could try and hit him again he somersaulted backwards until there was a 30 foot distance between them. Kidou felt a sharp pain in his chest. ......Dammit, He thought as he waited for Amie to make her move, That kick did connect...... I wonder why I didn't feel it until now.... What Kidou had somehow missed was that the kick was the reason why he was able to get into that hand stand so quickly. He didn't feel the kick earlier because he was to busy concentrating on Amie.

OoC://[Thank you. <3 o.0; Oh. I'm sorry. I pictured it differently]
Amie smiled over, and sheathed her blade. She chuckled, and gave him a thumbs up. "That was excellent! Your a quick thinker. I like kids like you. However- you overestimate your own abilities. Never assume you're always gonna make a hit, or you'll end up high and dry."
Amie wiped off her clothes, and pushed her bangs behind her ear. "That's enough for today. I expect good things from you in near future!~" Amie waved, before making a leave from the training grounds.

[Enter Zampacto/shikkai training, in preparation for Zaiogo tourney.]
Amie sighed as she strolled past the training grounds. It was a peaceful day, and a small smile passed her lips. It comforted her, to be among a tranquil area. Especially now. She was lost in thought, for she was in the process of making a large decision. The ziago are allowing entrance for one more into their ranks....By means of a tournament Amie thought loosely.
She had applied for that tourney. A very spontaneous thing for her. Was it right, though? She had just become Vice Captain, and here she was, ready to go gallivanting in a show of power. Becoming such rank was a surprise all in its own, as she could have ever dreamed of achieving it in such a short time. Or maybe, time was just going by faster now. All the same, she would never question her Captains judgment, and if she believed she was ready for the job, then she'd do it. Now, why did she want to become a Zaigo in the first place? For power...? No, I'm content were I am. For fame? I really care not for my reputation...so why do I want this opportunity? Ziagos had special abilities for fighting hollows. that in the like included Arrancars, and Vizards. The training was long and hard, and slightly insane. Just to apply to the tournament one required strength as it was. So, why was she doing this?
To...To be able to protect... How strange. She never really thought of it that way. When it came to personal training, Amie gave what she worth. And yet, when the training involved protection of another, she gave twice what she was worth. Gaah...I'm not that virtuous. I guess I just want to keep people safe. Maybe I'm to insecure about my abilities now. Amie scratched her head. Whatever happened, she was in this tournament now. It was healthy to reflect, and she needed that, but now she needed to concentrate on the task at hand.
So, she had just acquired Shikkai. Nowhere was she near mastering it. To compensate, she was going to have to practice. Many others in this battle were going to have more experience then her, so it was up to Amie to strategize and prepare. Sher performed some light stretches, simple aerobics and Yoga, to loosen up. When she knew she was going to be at something for a long period of time, she normally did stretch. Amie laughed in cruel grievance for what was to come. Although she brought it on herself, when Amie trained, she did so for a lot of hours, sometimes even days, depending on the training. Amie sat up, shook one last time, before Drawing her Zampacto.
"Multiply my strength, Kamikirimushi!" The golden wooden blade pulsated with reitsu, until it was overflowing. The purple light circled around, until the blade itself was glowing purple. It elongated from the tip, until the head was that of her large mallet. Underneath her hand a grip formed, where a golden cloth yawned outward. The hammer stopped glowing, but was now that purple shade. An emblem shaped like a beetle centered the head of the mallet, and Amie stared on at awe at it. This was the first time she got a good look at it, outside the time Yukimaru-sama almost killed her. She fondled around with it in her hands, examining every inch, every curved and corner. Once satisfied, she stared on at the dummies that were so conveniently about a few dozen feet ahead of her her.
Amie smiled, and swung the hammer's weight onto her shoulder. She charged forward, a B-line for the dummy. With a menacing battle cry, she jumped, and swung the hammer full force in a vertical smash. The dummy crushed into tiny splinters from the crushing blow, and an honorable ditch was left where the mallet struck down upon the earth. Amie emerged from the dust cloud, and cheered. That felt awesome! The power of force the mallet administered....Incredible!~ She wung the hammer and rest it back on her shoulder blades. Few, it was heavy. But Amie's advantage was endurance. That was her skill. Eguchi had brute strength, Minato had speed, Daichi had excellent kido, and Amie had endurance. She was a long distance runner, it was going to take more than some aching bones and fatigue to make her function any slower. Pain is temporary, pride is forever. That was the slogan.
Amie took another approach for the next dummy, as she ran at it. She swung the hammer for a diagonal uppercut, crushing the support and making it soar into the air. She grinned menacingly. As the hammer reached the height of it's arc, Amie recovered control over the heavy mass, and plunged it horizontally at the Dummy's side. This time, she focused some reitsu for an extra punch. The devastating smash sent it flying to the right, as it's body distorted in an odd fashion as it hit the ground. It bounced and slid a few times, as it fell, starting a large Crater on the first crash landing, but made progressively smaller ones as it stopped. By the time it stopped moving altogether, it was a pile of splinters being carried off by the wind. Amie smiled again, but this time, she was slightly out of breath by the weight and energy it took to lug the giant thing around. Amie wiped the beads of sweat fro her forehead, until going at it again.
This continued for hours. The process was simple; rest hammer on shoulder, pick target, beat s**t out of target, repeat. Needless to say, she made a mess out of the training area. But all of this was necessary and needed. Amie needed to understand every mechanic of the hammer. How tired it made her, how much energy it required to swing, how fast it moved, how much damage it did. Especially, how long and easily it moved in between swings. That was the important facotr. Amie would need to calculate a way to make up for the lost seconds it took to stop the hammers swing, which was increasingly harder to do as time went on. Newtons second law, mass x force - acceleration, basically said the heavier something is, the longer it takes to stop and start. Unless Amie wanted to get stepped on by faster opponent, she would have to be creative.
Finally, after six hours, Amie wobbled to a tree. She fell near it, rested her hammer, and took three whole minutes to regain her regular breathing. Even for herself, that was irritatingly agonizing, and she wasn't even done. She sucked done a water bottle in record time, and inhaled a chocolate bar. then, she rested her head on her arms. After a regulation hour rest, it was back to the drawing board. Although there was hardly anything left to crunch to pieces, she really did need to find a way around her weakness.
An hour passed, and it felt like a few seconds. Amie blinked, slightly aggravated. She had underestimated the level of sore her arms where feeling. But, she couldn't blame the limbs. She had never really pushed them through hard laber as such. She sighed. Oh well. So, now what? she was at the half way mark....When an idea struck her. Who better to ask about her zampacto, then the actual zampacto? Kamikirimushi would know ways to get by it's own weaknesses. Now, how to ask?
Amie curled herself into a meditative position, and rested her hammer in front of her. She closed her eyes, and relaxed. Images of when Yukimaru-sama crippled her played back. She mentally groaned. Amie was recalling how she contacted Kamikirimushi. I had to find Kamikirimushii's Reitsu, which was deeply intertwined with my own. I called on it because I was within death, I wonder if I can still do it now. Amie inhaled, and exhaled, searching her Reitsu to find it's origin, her center. Deeper and deeper into the trance she fell. Amie tired unraveling, and some purple mist seeped externally. Meditation, her silent state of unwinding her Reitsu lasted a good half an hour. Amie remained so, though, until she finally found the Reitsu that was her, yet not hers.
At last...now that she understood, Amie guessed finding her spirit would take less time. She pulled at the orb, stretching it, twisting it, denting at it. Attempting to bring it out. Her eyes twitched, as she continued to heave at it. Finally, the Reitsu released. Amie's spiritual presence would spike on any nearby Shinigami's radar, but only for a moment. When Amie opened her eyes, she was in her inner world, the brilliant windy field. She gazed around, before getting up. In front of her, a small purple object was flying closer. It had wings, and looked like a purple circle with bug wings. a fairie? No, it was a horned beetle....glowing brightly. In a flash of golden light, the bug dispersed, and in it's place was the womanly figure of Kamikirimushi.
"Come back for more, I see?~" she asked, in a whimsical manner. Amie smiled. "I come for your good graces, and a shove in the right direction." Kamikirimushi laughed. "I guess you couldn't figure it out on your own. Well then, hears a hint-" the spirit waved her hand, and the hammer Amie was holding in her hand suddenly became much, much heavier. The wind escaped her chest, and amie pulled at it, trying to lift it. She assumed it some kind of test; lift the heavy object, win a prize. She pictured a giant carnival "test your strength" game to appear, as well.
"What determines how dense something is?" Amie looked up, puzzled. "Well, that's easy. How many molecules occupy a given space." Amie pondered over what that had to do. Amie blinked. Was that even physically possible? Better to try and fail, rather to annoy her spirit without even making an attempt. she drummed her fingers on the hold, and pumped some Reitsu. She willed for the molecules to push apart, and create more space, to allow a less dense hammer. At the same moment, she pulled up on the hammer.
It was so incredibly easy. Dumbfounded by how quick and simple the transfer was, Amie flew backward, from the motion of exerting so much force to raise the hammer. she tumbled, and an "umph" escaped her. Kamikirmushi roared with laughter. Amie fumbled to her feat, and moved the hammer around. It was so incredibly light! She could balance it on her pinky. [which she tried] Figuring out the rest, Amie experimented. If the mallet could become lighter, obviously it could become heavier. Amie pumped some Reitsu through her hammer, willing the molecules to condense. And so it was. Light, and Amie regained expert mobility. Dense, and the thing packed incredible wallop. In a last bit to assist, Kamikirimushi snapped her fingers, and a few wooden practice dummies appeared.
For what seemed like four hours, Amie practiced going from heavy to light, and applying it to combat. Such as charging a target on light weight, making her faster and easier to move, then changing to extremely dense right before the hit, for twice the damage. It took some reitsu, and Amie realized she would need to optimize her Reitsu control to master the move. So she would not waist any precious reitsu at all. But after so much work, even without the heavy weapon, Amie was done for the day.
"Thank you, so, so incredibly much." She managed, through a rasping breath. The world faded away, and Amie was back at the tree she lied at before. She looked around. It seemed all the time she had been meditating, had passed in the real world. Amie re capped shikkai, and sheathed her Zampacto. From there, she decided it wasn't worth the effort to go home, and fell asleep right at the tree. Man, she honestly couldn't move, she was so exhausted and sore. Amie closed her eyes, and was out in mere moments.

Amie rubbed her head, and yawned. Man, how long was I out? She shook herself, and got up. That sleep wasn't exactly pleasant. She staggered a few steps, then regained her balance, and made her way home. [Exit]

(( Miss Moon, it says under guild rules that
Quote: Consistent and good roleplaying in the guild will move this character up through the ranks to Shinigami where they have their own specialized Zanpakto, built out of their own spirit energy, the ability to stand on the air and Kidou up to 40.
What I did was basically just standing on air. )) Kidou sheathed his blade and started walking towards the exit. Everyone over estimates now and again, he thought as he walked, and at least now I know what to aim for. Despite his teachers comment he wasn't in a very good mood. "Sigh."

OoC://[Kidou, that description is, 1. Not targeting you. You are the description before. The guild newb. You do not have a specialized Zampacto, [Shikia] you do not have the ability to learn those kido as of yet, and therefore cannot walk on air. 2. Despite not being able to learn it yet, You have to be taught the technique in order to do it You can't just magically have the ability because you want it. ]

(( You have misread Madam Waffles. Miss Moon stated that you can only learn how to walk on air when you learn Shunpo. That is what is confusing me since in the guild rules it says you can learn to stand on air when you obtain your specialized zampakuto (most confusing rule ever by the way). ))
