You should definitely watch the Threadbangers episode Dixie has linked to above (that is the one with the bustle skirt, isn't it? I have restricted internet access right now, so I couldn't check) - their explanation about how to make the bustle seemed pretty easy to follow. And that's coming from someone who's more likely to dissect a sewing machine than actually use it... xp

Haha, I finally managed to dress semi-steampunk again. I need more accessories. Same vest, white shirt, cargo khakis, and black boots. A smily face necklace I turned so the silver part faces out and a silver and burgundy bracelet. Actually, I kind of look like my avi alittle.

I am in process of makeing a flashlight brouch in the shape of a spider made out of gears.

I have goggles that are genuine old school
Im not a girl for dresses and skirts so I will sort of have a lara croft thing going on.

I love the coat in the 1st one, and the magnifine glasses in the second. I like them. As for no one commenting, I don't think many comment on others pictures. I haven't gotten many comments either. Doesn't mean we don't appreciate them.

New pics. Haven't been able to find a good paint that'll actually stay on the plastic goggles, so no brass yet I'm afraid.
