I stared at her for a few moments, "I see," I said quietly. I hid the quivering in my voice, "Maybe I'm better off being the town whore." I stood and swept out of the courtyard. My face was red with anger and my hands were cold and clammy, tucked tightly by my side. I walked up to my own bedroom and saw Reverend a little ways down the hallway. I wasn't sure if I should hate him, or pitty him. He so baddly looked like he wanted out. Even I could see that. something inside me screamed, telling me to lash out and let him taste my wrath, my fury, my love, my hate, my heart break. I finally found her, that person that made me feel alive again, and now... I closed my eyes adn slammed the door shut. Maybe the message would get through. I threw my self on the bed and stared at the cieling. I've allways wanted to watch the sunrise...

I was confused by Erik's silence at first, but I was only more confused as I foundmyself being shoved back onto my bed. I thought at first that he was attacking me, about to drive a stake through my chest for something, but it didn't take me long to realize that his soft, seemily perfect lips were on mine. I sat back, my lower body outstretched as I braced myself up on my elbows, slowly being forced down by the man climbing over me. I reached around him, running my hand down his back as I felt the kiss deepen and tongues slid out of hiding.
Every thought in my mind screamed at me to kick him off right now and tell him off for using me, hurting me, then swiftly making a change of heart as soon as the Reverend had told him off one time too many, but every instinct in my body forced me to let him stay, and I wasn't complaining.

"Tori!" I cried, going after her. I followed her up the stairs, but she slammed the door before I could even approach it. "Tori," I said again, pressing my hands against the door. I sighed, closed my eyes, and rested my forehead against the wood. "I have... strong feelings for Reverend," I said through the door. "I've known him for longer than I've known you. I can't... I can't say I love you. It's only been what, two days since you showed up?" I banged my head against the door softly, gritting my teeth. "I wish I could tell you I love you. But I can't.... Not yet."
***
My hands traveled through Sean's hair, gripping and pushing his lips harder against mine. Through his lips, I felt the press of fang, and I didn't mind. I took my lips from his, straddling his waist, and kissed down his neck, tongue flicking in circles on his cold skin. My hands traveled down his chest. In my burst of energy, my fingers gripped the fabric of his shirt and tore it open. His stomach and chest was smooth and perfect in the soft light of the bedroom. I kissed down his body, to his waistline....

Now was just as good a time as any for the booze to start kicking in. My mind was diluted, my judgment was poor, but best of all my conscience was dead. I felt his lips on my body. In the heat of the moment all my senses were peaked, all of his kisses felt like static shocks, making the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. I sat up for a second, reaching down his back and pulling his shirt off from the behind him, tossing it aside. I got up on my knees to meet him, wrapping my arms around his torso and folding my hands just above his a**, pulling his warm human body up against my cold vampire one. I slide a hand down his chest and slammed my lips into his again, gently grinding my hips against him while we kissed.

Before I knew what was happening, my shirt was off. His lips found mine again. My hands tangled in his hair as my tongue explored his mouth. Still, all I could think about was Reverend.... It didn't matter. I wanted it, and I wanted it now.

I sensed something about him, a kind of doubt but I really didn't care. In the head of the moment I couldn't focus on any feeling accept for the one of his hands moving down my body, running through my hair. I fell backwards onto the bed again, kissing him the entire time, letting out little moans into his face as I reached down, starting to fumble with his belt.

I stared at the door and ignored her. It didn't matter that she couldn't say she loved me, I couldn't say I love her, she was just so warm, she was addictive. Being used wasn't fun. Still in only a robe, I climbed out of the window and jumped down. I walked to the church and walked inside, it was dark and cold inside, like me...

I walked in and roamed around, looking at all the statues, there cold emotionless eyes staring straight back at me. I came to a statue of Mary and stopped. I stared into her eyes. Her hands were held infront of her as if she were praying. "Thats right, love, pray for mercy and sweet salvation, we're all going to need it," I said as i continued and walked away. I came to Jesus, his arms outstretched and reaching for me. Tears glistened in my eyes as i put my hand in his, "Even you can't save me. Nobody can bring me back to life." I looked down and tried to walk away, but my hand was stuck in his. His cold, stone hand tightly gripped my frail one. I looked up to the statues face. Tears of blood lazily rolled down his cheeks, I looked around at the other statues, they were all doing it. I tried to yank my hand from his but it wasn't going anywhere. In a uproaring blast of wind, all the candles in the church caught a light. It cast an orange glow over his face. "What do you want?" I asked. I didn't expext an answer. I continued examining my trapt hand, when the wind blew gently and a whispered answer traveled with it. "Being saved doesn't mean being brought back to life." I looked into the stone cold eyes of the statue that was talking to me, or atleast i had thought it was. But the eyes were no longer cold and stone like. They had sympathy, love, and heat. The tears were gone, but only on him, the other statues continued to cry. His hadn released my own and now it was my turn to cry. I climbed up to his feet and curled up, bringing my knees to my chest. The sun would be rising soon...

I heard her window slide open. Before I knew what I was doing, I ran for the stairs and took them two at a time, hurling the door open and flinging myself out of it. I saw Tori turn a corner on the left and ran quickly. Her figure disappeared into the church down the road. I slowed my gait to a walk and approached the church. I peeked in and saw Tori take her hand from the statue of Jesus Christ, and curl into a ball at His feet. The sight concerned me, but I mentally pushed aside the absurdity of it. I approached her. I felt the sunrise coming like the doomed knowledge of the apocolypse. "Tori," I whispered. "Tori, love, please get up. The sun's coming."

My eyes glistened, their normal red replaced with white. I looked to her and smiled gently, "Go back to the Manor, darling. I will be fine. I want to watch the sun rise..." I couldn't explain it, but i knew. I just knew that staying to watch the sun rise would not hurt me. I could feel it. It was a womans intuition. I looked once more into her fear filled eyes, "Trust me, pet. I will come in and put your mind to rest, just let me watch the one thing i was never able to."

"No!" I cried, picking her up. "You're not going to kill yourself! This is ludicrous! How am I supposed to believe that the sun won't hurt you? I can't believe that!" I began to carry her out of the church. The eastern horizon was already tinged with light.

I scwormed my wy out of her arms, my white eyes flashing. I could feel the morning rays reach out in the sky, licking at the stars. If Danni didn't get inside, she'd roast. I shoved her back into the church and slammed the doors closed. I flet the sun hit my face and the warm embrace it brought. I smiled, i opened my eyes and watched the glorious event. The roses blossomed in the yard and i wondered through it. i picked several and went back to the church doors, I pushed it open and took one last look at the morning that had unfolded right before me and smiled. I went in and found Danni, hudled in the corner away from any light. I laid the roses at her feet and kissed her forhead. I went and began to wonder around the church again. i came up to Jesus and smiled up at him.

"Thanks a lot," I hissed. "I'm trapped in here until nightfall. Ms. 'I'm So ******** Special,' had to see her damn sunrise." I laughed darkly and shook my head. "You're such a selfish little thing. You could've come back to the Manor with me like I told you, but no, you had to prove yourself or some s**t." I kicked the roses away, scattering the petals.

I turned and narrowed my eyes at her, The room grew colder and darker as I flew accross it to hover above her, "You'd do well to shut your trap, love. I'm in a considerably good mood right now. Wouldn't want to be nasty towards you. I calmed down and the room warmed up a bit but remained dark, "Not that you would care, your too preoccupied with your thoughts of The Reverend."

"Hmm." The Reverend's brow rose and he felt like maybe he shouldn't be part of the manor for much longer, that before long he'd be tearing everyone apart inadvertently, and he couldn't really deal with that. With his hands in his pockets, he stood in the doorway in the same fashion that he had earlier.
