I love the sound of African English. I'm not sure in which countries (other than RSA) where they actually speak English, but they sound so yummy.

I think the prettiest language is Sindarin, followed by Quenya.......I mean, I know a lot of people don't consider them "real" languages......because Tolkien made them up...but that's just my opinion...as far as languages universally accepted as real, I think Japanese, followed by Russian......But then, I've been told I have strange tastes.... smile

Velvy I think the prettiest languages are Finnish and japanese. Both languages have got a nice sound Sadly I cant understand it but I really like finnish or japanese songs. Another nice language is dutch. I love this language cause it sounds really cute when dutch people are talking bout something. i agree about the songs. both japanese and finnish songs sound pretty. i personally like CMX (Cloaca Maxima [finnish band]) and Malice Mizer (japanese band). sadly i don't think they are very active any more.... crying

I think Japanese and Chinese (mandarin/cantonese) are really pretty
and french i wouldnt say its pretty but it has a nice flow to it

Marjosa Irish Gaelic. heart But all languages are beautiful to me. This I entirely agree with, you want proof, listen to an Irish women sing a song in gaelic. . it is enough to warm your face or well tears in your eyes.

I would say Norwegian, Italian, Ukrainian, French, and Japanese are pretty languages

I am partial to Asian languages, but to me, the prettiest language is Korean. I adore the long o sounds.
