Rose Nymphadora Weasley

Rose tucked her fingers into Pyrate’s grasp, moving him across the yard while avoiding thick clumps of tangled weeds and grass that crept across the sand. “I hope you’ve got a plan for telling her, because I have no idea how to make this sound not bad,” Rose muttered, leading him up onto the porch and pausing before the glass sliding door. “Oh, great, Blaise is here. Plus six to our ‘this is going to go a**-up’ roll.”

Barra only nodded his helmet again, walking over and sitting down in the shade next to the shade that was indicated. He figured he might as well go first as he was aware how nervous Hugo was and was sure he wouldn't fancy Barra following behind him like an enormous shadow.

He watched Pyrate from his spot under the trees, absently rubbing at his arms to get some of the thicker spots of blood off. His gaze only shifted from Pyrate for a moment, and not really enough to be noticed since he didn't have to move his head. He was interested in what Hugo might have to tell him, was already warming up to the boy.

Oh, how lovely. I'll definitely be ruining her fun now. -_-

"It's fine.. You can go back to Hugo if you want.... I can take it from here." he released her hand, but paused to give it a reassuring squeeze. "I know this all seems ********, Rose. But you have no idea how much I owe you both for helping me find them again."

He went inside before she could reply, clearing his throat as he entered the room.

"Hermione?"

Hugo glanced at Barra’s form, startled at the revelation that some of the discoloration was actually blood. “What was he doing with you?” fell out of his mouth in a momentary flash of something akin to anger, before Hugo gathered himself and resumed a fairly pleasant deadpanned expression that was more a smile than a frown. “We’ll get that crap off after,” he assured the male, “Pyrate has to tell my Mum first… which sounds surreal, but… um, after the war, my Mum rounded up all the Death Eaters and put them in a rehabilitation program, and Pyrate got drafted into it. He’s lived with us for ages. Mum kind of has his collar on a lot of things… it’s just easier if we… smooth things over with her before we bring you into the house.” As he spoke, Hugo rubbed the back of his neck, shifting his body weight from one sandal-clad foot to the other beneath the cool shade provided by the trees.

*Jerks upright, apparently having been leaning closer to Blaise* Oh -- Pyrate. *Plasters a false smile he can't see anyway across her face, speaking cheerfully* Did you enjoy your lunch? They ditched you to go to the movies, didn't they? *Laughs lightly*

"They're just outside... Could I speak to you in private? It's important.." he kept his voice calm, but felt irritation build at the fact she was putting on a show while that b*****d sat on the couch. They weren't even together yet she insisted on false formalities and courtesies.

Oh... *visibly settles down* Blaise, could you...?

Xuchilbarra couldn't much answer, but it was clear he was listening by how still he became. He wished he could hear what was going on inside, but he could see into the room slightly through the glass door, and that was a small comfort. Pyrate's power pulsed through him, assuring that he was still near. He didn't exactly understand the situation; wasn't much aware of anything that happened all that time he was, well, dead. But he knew what Azkaban was, knew about other most of the other Death Eaters. He wondered if he would encounter anymore familiar faces being here; it seemed certain.

Barra wasn't worried about any sort of argument going on. He was going in that house with Pyrate no matter what anyone had to say about it.

He patted the grass besides himself, gesturing Hugo to sit.

*Stands up with all the cocky grace of a content feline* Sure. I'll wait upstairs. *Smirks and leaves the room*

"Sorry to interrupt....that." he held back a scowl as he fully entered the room, sitting down beside Hermione.

"I need your understanding with this, Hermione. I trust you not to take any of it away or try to have it destroyed."

There were a dozen reasons for Hugo not to sit down beside Barra. The most present and glaring were that Hugo was absolutely terrified of him, and he was peeling dried blood that smelled rather like old gasoline and rusted metal, and that he currently had in his possession a very large weapon that was also sticky with substances Hugo didn’t want to contemplate. Reasons farther back on the list included the fact that Pyrate had failed to tell him a single fact about the brothers, beyond bluntly stating that they’d been lovers, so Hugo had no idea what the hulking mass of muscle and helmet before him was capable of. He’d been raised around Death Eaters - murderers, rapists, maniacs - so that actually didn’t bother him, he sort of assumed the worst of everyone and politely forgave them for it, but his day had stretched him a bit thin.

But Pyrate had once reached down and smoothed his sweaty bangs back from his face when it was storming and he had a fever. He’d reached the best cereal box at the top of the cupboard under Hugo’s directions. He’d helped with homework, and heartache, and was there the day Rose got her period and Hermione and Ron were both at work. He trusted him.

So he sat down, folding his legs and settling his elbows on the tattered knees of his jeans. “Um. Can I get you anything?”

*Frowns* Have you purchased something illegal?

Because if you're feeling depressed, Pyrate, marijuana isn't right for everyone. Hugo's been prescribed; we'd have to try a few other things first with you before coming to that conclusion, medically.

*Heaves a soft sigh before reaching and grabbing her hands in his*

Do you recall those dreams I've been having?

I've reconnected with the people in them....my lovers, but it's not a simple affair. By no means.

Before the end of the first wizarding war they were executed by the Ministry, hung for treason and use of dark arts, necromancy.. You can ask Mad-Eye, he's probably the only one that even still knows of it.

They burned the bodies before I could get to them... But I knew of ways to bring them back, and I attempted to... It worked, but not to the extent we had hoped. It left them bound in forms not quite human... I had them before, in the second war, but the Dark Lord and I agreed that they weren't to be involved that time because of the suffering they'd already endured..

You know what happened to me during that final battle, you helped me after it, but all that time they were left at my manor.. Because of they way they were brought back any fairly skilled necromancer could take them, attempt to control them for a short while.

I thought perhaps because of the manor being burned down they had gotten away, but that wasn't the case. I kept sensing them and found them today. Another necromancer had stolen them, and has probably been using them for Merlin knows what.

I have Sam waiting outside... I wasn't able to get Jakob back before the b*****d disapparated with him. *He breathed out a sigh, feeling odd and out of place, but glad to have gotten it out in one setting. He hated talking in general, but to explain something and have it interrupted with idiot questions made it all the harder.*

Barra smiled inwardly; he knew that any outward shows of emotion would be left unseen anyways. He crooned softly, fighting to keep his hands to himself and busying them once again with the grass, petting the green strands like a lapdog. He made a noise almost like a cat purring. A very large and deep voiced cat, but purring all the same.

While he could manage to keep his hands to himself, he couldn't help letting his power go somewhat. It inched over the ground like heavy fog, testing and tasting. Hugo was young but he had resilience and a strength he probably did not realize he possessed yet. He pulled his power back, still staring forward at the house.

He shook his head ever so slightly side to side. He didn't need anything. Food and water were nothing to him now, and anything else he may desire he certainly was not getting from Hugo.

Discomfort rippled across his skin but he remained stubbornly sitting on the grass, willing his heebie-jeebies to shut the ******** up. “So,” he said conversationally, his actual grin returning somewhat, “What are your hobbies? Cooking?” he added, nodding to the obscenely large blade. He knew he wouldn’t get a verbal response but perhaps some kind of amusement.
